We had a frustrating experience with Energy Simply and are now left paying for a mistake that they made. Because of an error that they made in entering our address incorrectly with a new energy provider, our power was not successfully registered. This meant that we were reenrolled with our old energy company (unknown to us) on a month-to-month basis. In the meantime, we moved and tried to cut off our energy but Energy Simply did not know who was providing our energy for a ten-day period. We contacted Center Point and various energy companies that might be providing our energy and no one had an account with our name on it. This took days of calls to Energy Simply, Center Point, and the various energy companies. Now we understand that our energy was not successfully shut off and we are paying for three weeks of energy that we did not use. Energy Simply has been inconsistent in replying to our emails and calls/voicemails also. In the end, we should have remained with our regular energy provider. read more

OMG! Have you ever been walking somewhere and a wad of cash blew across your path with a light gust of wind? It's not a fantasy, it's Energy Simply. I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed them earlier but in the 5 years I've used them now, I've probably saved over $10,000 in rip off rates from all of these so-called energy providers who are nothing but salesman who mark up the prices that Oncor charges them ! I don't know about your financial situation but to me, $10,000 can go a long way... especially when it's wisely invested over the next 5 decades at 10% annual interest. $10,000 turns into about a half a million clams! When I first started with the company, it was great with fast response times and great prices. And while there are great prices, the customer service has been terrible the last several months. There have been several times where it has taken several days to get a response and once it took 2 weeks for a response. There was also a mixup with moving my services to a new place, which could have partially been my fault, however, when I try to ask more questions, once again, I do not receive a timely response. The service is great but the lack of customer service has me looking at other similar services to move to. read more

This is crazy! I live in a 700 sqft apt and keep the place cold all summer but have a hard time getting my bill to go over $50 LOL! When I tried doing this myself and thought I found a great deal, my bill at one point got to over $200. I've been with Energysimp.ly now for 3 years and wish I had signed up sooner. Doesn't matter now, I'm saving tons of cash and more of my pay stays in my wallet where it belongs. My daughter has an old house in Ft Worth that was hitting over $300/mo! I told her to knock it off and sign up with this company. Now she pays no more than $150 max. Most months she pays less than $100. Be sure to stop feeding the energy beast and get with the program LOL! read more
