I was shopping for a broker to ship my car to a tuner to OC. Most of the broker quoted between $200 to $300. I know brokers take a huge chunk from the carriers. So i called a few nearest towing companies by Chula Vista. Energy towing was the first one i called. I explained what needed to be done and the condition of the car. Energy towing promised me a flat rate which is super reasonable, so i rather to have a happy carrier get 100% of the cut on a job. Communication was great between the first contact to the actual job date. Towed truck showed up on time and my car was properly loaded up on the flatbed without getting damaged. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.!!! On Monday May 8 th I called this company to tow One of my classic cars to a mechanic shop to do some upgrades on my engine the car was running it I decided to towed to be safe to my dismay when the driver arrived to deliver the car at the shop my car was wracked he didn't secured the car on the truck's bed . No explanation or anything just call my boss was his respond . I immediately contacted the OWNER Manuel thinking he will be willing to resolved this in a reasonable matter but it has been a total nightmare dealing with him . It's been over a month and all I had from him is lies and excuses I got a couple of estimates but he refused the estimates wasted my time and patience . Finally trying to resolve this issue I got him a very low estimate for the damages to my vehicle and he accepted And agreed to pay it one week after we discuss it . The time came and he said I can offer you 300 dlls .today ( very offensive offer by the way ) !! For whatever reason I still want to give him a third opinion and for the second time he agreed to pay half of the amount the next coming week and the remaining the following week . The time came to pay and we went back and forth we supposed to meet to collect the half and he just gave me excuses again never showed up and he never contacted me to at the least tried to resolve this . If a business owner displays this kind of irresponsibility And behaves this way you can imagine his employees He has refused to give me his insurance information since day one witch makes me wonder if he has insurance that's the law when you are involved in a accident you have the responsibility to show financial responsibility But he has not provided his insurance information. Used this company two times for towing, And both times I had my Bluetooth player stolen. First time didn't think much of it just replaced it figured the broke mf needed it more than I. Worst service EVER. Spoke to the dispatcher said it would take 45 minutes. Great - 2 1/2 hours later I call to see what the hold up was, he's all "my driver hasn't called you" um no! So then he says, hang on I'll call you back and have the driver call you soon. A driver from another company calls me to tell me it will be another hour before he can even get to my husband. My insurance company contacted Energy Towing to have my car towed to our mechanic. I received a message at 10am saying that my car would be picked up within the hour. I assumed the car was picked up and towed to our mechanic. At 4pm I called to check on the quote and I was told my car wasn't there yet. When I contacted Energy Towing they said that my car would be delivered in 45 minutes. When I asked for an explanation they refused to give me one. They had my car for 6 hours and would not give me an explanation as to where it had been. Both myself and my insurance company called 2 times and no one would explain to use where it had been. So instead of being able to get my car repaired today I am without a car for another day. I would wait extra time for a tow from another company than ever use them again. read more

UNBELIEVABLE and totally unprofessional experience with one of their drivers on the road, then the dispatcher who claimed he was in charge when I called the office to complain. Wreckless driver almost caused an accident in the intersection with two other cars when he went right then turned left across all traffic causing all cars to slam on heir brakes in the intersection. Then he later swerved in front of me again. Then as I was trying to just pass him and get out of there he purposely swerved into my lane then pointed and laughed and then pushed some button in his truck that was like the sound of when men whistle at women. So I called the main number to tell them about it and I did swear on the midst of it and the dispatcher told me NOT to swear. Then he hung up on me after I told him not to tell me how to talk. I said "I don't need your drivers 'f-ing' with me while I'm on the road." If this driver drives the way he did with cars that he's supposed to be towing there's no chance in hell I would ever call this company to tow. read more

So, I was going to go with iTowing based on the online estimate I got last night. This morning I checked it again and their estimate had gone from $60 to $110 to go 10 miles. I don't know if that's because of time of day or what, but I decided to call Engery Towing this morning and I'm glad I did. They quoted me $60 over the phone and I paid $60 when it was completed.
