Warning, avoid this shop. I went there on April to leave my 1 Car for a clutch replacement. I left them the complete kit with all new parts. I kept calling them every day, and they kept telling me it wasn't ready. After 5 days, I went to the shop in person, and it still wasn't ready, so I told them I wasn't leaving until they fixed it. They finally started working on it, but I had to wait many hours. When they finally replaced the clutch, I asked the shop owner to test-drive the vehicle to make sure everything was fine, and I handed him the key. I immediately noticed he looked annoyed. He started driving while keeping the clutch pressed about a quarter of the way down. With a brand-new clutch, new pressure plate, new flywheel, new master cylinder, and a freshly bled line, that is not good. The clutch is hydraulic and responds immediately. I didn't say anything during the drive, but he was driving around 30 to 35 mph on the streets near the shop. When we got back, I told him he had been riding the clutch the whole way. He said nothing was wrong. At that moment, smoke started coming out from under the vehicle. I opened the hood and saw smoke coming from the transmission, and it smelled like a burnt clutch. He said that was a normal part of the process and that all clutches smoke when they are replaced. He said there was nothing to do. Very disappointed, I took my vehicle and left. I drove a couple of blocks, then had to turn back because they had forgotten to reconnect the rear differential. The vehicle was only moving with the front wheels, and the owner had been driving it that way with 4x4 engaged. At 30-35 miles per hour is not good for the differentials or the clutch. I returned to the shop and demanded they fix it. They did, and I only asked whether they were sure everything was okay so I wouldn't have to come back again. Then they started my vehicle, revved it, and did reverse burnouts to show me the rear differential was connected. That was very rude and I did not like it. That is why I say to avoid this shop. They are not professional. Honestly, I also had some extra parts there that I had bought, and when I left the shop they were gone. They were clutch-related parts I had bought as extras. I can't say for sure that they took them, but they disappeared while the vehicle was in their shop and on their property. If you think it ended there, let me tell you it is getting worse. About 9 or 10 weeks after going through such a terrible experience at that shop, Energy Transmissions, my clutch started having trouble getting up hills. I also have trouble getting onto the freeway. I do not drive off-road; I only drive on the road.I use it every day for my daily trips. The issue is that the clutch no longer disengages where it should at the lower part of the pedal travel. When you press the pedal, it should disengage lower down, but now it disengages very high. I have to buy another clutch and pay labor again at a professional shop. Next time I will be much more careful. I'm making this warning so people do not fall for it blindly. If someone reads this review before deciding to go to that place, I hope they take it into consideration. Sorry if I said anything inappropriate; what is happening to me is very frustrating. My apologies if I didn't use the exact right words, but basically I'm trying to tell people to avoid that shop so they don't end up having a bad time, a bad month, and an expensive bad experience Please avoid this shop. read more

After calling around to other shops (even Ford), no one had a lift available just to quickly check and top off my transmission fluid. When I called this shop and explained my situation, they told me to bring it by. As soon as I arrived, they greeted me kindly and made time for me, even setting other projects aside once a lift opened up. The level of unprofessionalism and unethical business practices in this shop simply astounds me. I am not sure there was one competent mechanic working in this shop because if the work done on my truck is any example of their level of competency, then this shop should be shut down before they damage anyone else's vehicle. My truck went in needing a transmission repair, and it came out completely destroyed. Over the course of the last 6 months, I have had my truck out in my possession for less than 1 complete month. The transmission repair should have been fairly simple, yet the first time it was returned to me with the "Gold Stamp of Completion" from the owner, the 4 wheel drive system no longer worked and it seemed to be leaking copious amounts of transmission fluid. I returned it to the shop only to be given vague excuses for what happened and the promise of the owner Enrique would complete the work personally to ensure things went according to plan this time. That being said, 3 months later he has completely destroyed my truck, stolen my modified and very expensive motor and replaced it with one that has more miles on it than the original and was completely subpar from what my truck went in with, my supercharger is now malfunctioning because no one knew how to do any work on engines with modifications at all and rather than ask for help, they just did whatever they wanted and damn the consequence. There is now oil everywhere but where it belongs in my engine, my intake and supercharger and throttle body all seem to be filling with oil repeatedly, and any time my truck runs for more than a few minutes, it starts smoking like it's on fire...with no flames. When I explained how much the damages were going to cost, he shrugged and acted as if it was not his issue nor was it his fault, yet my truck had absolutely no other issues beyond the necessary transmission repair, and now it's got more codes coming up than I thought possible. This truck was my dream truck that my wife and I were finally able to get and it has been the one bright spot I've had since I started chemo again this time, and now I can't even drive it when I am feeling well enough to. The owner has made no attempts to rectify this issue and has now stopped answering my calls and texts, yet I know by law he has to make this right. read more

Not only did these guys turn around a full rebuild on my transmissionb in just 5 days they stayed 3 hours after closing on a Friday to finish an additional job that I tacked on in the middle of the week! A transmission is an unbelievably complicated apparatus and the cost of repairing and rebuilding one is a serious investment. You can trust that professionals with plenty of experience are going to take care of your vehicle here. I can't say enough about the place. It's just so uncommon to get service like what I received this week and I will be telling everyone I know. I will be returning for any services that they offer. This place is top notch, they do the best they can to answer the phone but it would probably be best if you go in in person. They have a huge workload you'll I see it lined up when you arrive and they do the best they can to handle it but be patient and understand that there's only so many hours in a day, and there's a serious shortage of qualified technicians in this field. This puts a lot of pressure on the technicians at any automotive facility these days. The fact is if they can do something to help you out, they're going to do it. It was obvious to me that they do what's right, not necessarily what's profitable but what's right, and I'm sure that they sleep well at night. That's what you need to know.
