    Scheduled a propane delivery and was told delivery would be in 7-10 days - that was supposed to be…read morebetween January 27 - 30. We received a text from Amerigas that our delivery was delayed due to weather (fine, there was bad weather), and then a follow up text saying our propane would be delivered the next day on Feb 2. Feb 2 came and no propane, and no follow-up. Weather conditions were still poor (the great snow), so I wasn't too concerned. On Feb 5, I was a little concerned about our propane levels and the lack of information, so I messaged them using their live chat feature. After back and forth with their agent over chat, I was advised to place a telephone call to their service number. I did that, and after 30+ minutes on hold, I spoke to a representative who eventually put me on hold to talk to someone else. That person, while polite, was unable to inform me when we would get our propane delivery - basically the local office wasn't making any delivery commitments and we would get propane whenever they could schedule it. It is now a week later and we still have no idea when we'll get service. I'm starting to look at other propane providers, especially after seeing all the other reviews here on Yelp.

This charge was not a part of my service agreement with the company that originally provided my propane service and was unilaterally implemented by Amerigas without my knowledge, consent, or agreement. This charge is simply a tactic to force consumers to continue service by charging an unnecessary and non-agreeable hidden surcharge in an attempt to cause financial duress for removing an unwanted service.
