Last night my air conditioning was blowing lukewarm air. I woke up this morning and realized that it was going to be over 100 degrees today in Chatsworth in the San Fernando Valley. I called Enertek Air Conditioning & Heating at 8:AM, an hour before they open on Saturday's and Yury was at my house by 9:45:AM this morning and found the problem and had my air conditioning fixed in less than 40 minutes. I am so impressed with this company I am getting an estimate from them to replace my 18 year old furnace and central air unit. I would recommend this company to the stars and back! Yuri and his team are reliable, responsive, honest, and thoughtful. My wife and I have been working with Enertek since we first moved to Encino in 2005 (when soon after we needed to replace the very old HVAC that came with our home). They honor their warranties, when something is easily fixed with little cost, they say so, and when when they do installations (they set up a mini-split for a garage conversion we recently completed) or repairs, the work is done right the first time. I was referred to Enertek from our friend Adrienne since she had positive experiences with them. I recently saw some condensation coming from our hallway vent after using the central AC and got concerned. Enertek sent out Yuri who happen to the tech Adrienne referred us to. He was very honest in explaining what the problem could be and the few options we would have. Since my central AC unit was manufactured in 2005 there were some limitations on what could be repaired. He did manage to clean the drain and remove the buildup but warned if it leaked again I would have to purchase a new unit altogether. Luckily his cleaning worked sufficiently since we no longer see any condensation occurring while using the unit. While this is likely good for a few more years before I have to replace the whole unit I appreciated his honesty and candor about my options. read more

I thought I posted a review in 1999, but it was on AnG's list. These guys have been my one and only HVAC company for everything: new installations, replacements, repairs, upgrades and maintenance. Yes, for twenty years on multiple properties. How did I miss posting? Prior to using Enertek, I dreaded calling for service on any heating or air conditioning equipment. It seemed I always got some fast-talking, double-dealing, over-charging, know-nothing, scam artist. Enter Andre of Enertek in 1999. He gave me a written bid for the new a/c, showed me where I could save a little on some new ducts, showed up on time, cleaned up when done and stuck to his contract. Absolutely no games! He runs his business like a real business. All of his employees show up clean and ready to work. His brother, Yury is now running the business. He's my invisible a/c guy. He shows up on my roof and does what's needed, even if I'm not home. He's as knowledgeable as his brother and things get done efficiently with no surprises; you know the cost up-front. I was motivated to write an updated review yesterday because my home warranty company forced me to use their HVAC guy if I wanted them to pay. Their guy was such a nightmare. Stole an expensive part off my unit, tried to give me a $15 mechanical thermostat to replace my $250 ecobee4, by-passed my thermostat wires without informing me (his hot-wiring bypassed fire safeguards), and he demanded that I sign his fraudulent statement concerning the "repair". He's typical of what happened before Enertek. Once I convinced AHS to authorize an outside contractor, Enertek showed up as promised, did everything in a workmanlike manner and the positive experience reminded me why I never want to use any other company and why I always recommend Enertek to friends. Enertek just installed a brand new heating and air system in my home. Our old air conditioner was terrible, plus we wanted to separate the upstairs and downstairs of our house. Enertek install a new system with dual zones. They kept us informed throughout the process and finished when they said they would. The crews that worked in our house were always very respectful and professional. As for the system operation, everything is great. House cools and heats very fast. By having dual zones we only have to heat or cool the floor we are on so the system doesn't have to work as hard. I'm also surprised at how quiet the system is. I'm fully happy with the job Enertek did. We will definitely recommend them to all of our family and friends. read more

Boy, I am a sucker.. but why go elsewhere, when they fix it right the first time! So my Lennox packaged GCS system failed again in July/August 2016. I came home one night to find the system requesting for AC and hardly any air blowing through the vent registers. The house was 98F at midnight... I shut the system off, turned out some fans and let the outside cooler air come in. I called that night and left a message. They called me back the following morning at 7. By 8:30 I had Yuri back on the job. He's the guy who always visits the house. They found the problem, the blower motor seized up. They pulled the motor / blower housing and took it to the shop. They came back a few hours later to finish the job. They had to go get the motor unhooked from the blower assembly and cleaned out the blower which at this point had a layer of dust on it (replace your filter on time folks). They also checked my freon levels and evacuated and recharged the unit, it was missing a bit - either I had a leak or it was low from the factory (which is more likely). Needless to say its blowing nice and cold right after. The system was having a hard time keeping the house cool when it reached 100F+, most HVAC units will drop it down to -20F max (from outside temperature) but prior to the blower motor failing, it was barely able to keep it at 88F during the day and would run the entire day, but after the fixes, it would get down to 78F no problems even if the outside temp is close to 100. read more

On time, super efficient, honest. A/D wanted $150 + $180 + a service charge to swap out two capacitors. Enertek did it for $149 total -- a fair price. Capacitors are VERY inexpensive. I have no problem paying a premium if you go through the trouble of buying parts for me. Plus, it's part of the business. Don't pay hundreds for an $8 part! We woke up this morning to a very cold house. Our heater went out at some point during the night. The Heating and Air company I'd been using for the past 30 years made me angry last year when the technician came out and wouldn't listen to what I was telling me, then proceeded to charge me for an extra hour while he did whatever he was doing that was totally unnecessary. Then I had to argue with the owner to reverse the extra hour charge. So my sister recommended Enertek. I called them at 2pm. The very nice woman who answered the phone asked me a few questions then asked if Yuri could come out today. Yuri was scheduled to come out anytime between 2:10 (when I hung up the phone) and 4:00. Now I'm sure this is not normal but Yuri was at my door at 2:30. Yuri introduced himself, asked me what the problem was, fixed the heater problem, an ignitor part, and was gone by 2;.45. I have NEVER had such great service. Yuri was very nice knowledgeable, efficient and the price was very reasonable. Needless to say we now have a new Heating and Air conditioning company. It was last year when our Lennox AC unit developped a leak and stopped working. I called a bunch of repair companies at that time and asked them if they would be willing to order the replacement part from Lennox which was still under warranty. No one wanted to go through this hassle for us except Enertek. They took care of everything for us, and they saved us a lot of money. They are really nice and professional. Today I called them again because our AC stopped working because of a blown fuse. I called around again to get estimates for the repair but nobody could beat their price. I called them this morning, and they came, fixed the problem in no time. to everybody who's thinking of using enertek. service was not good. we were having problems with our freon leaking and told them when we called that we had this problem, tech came out and told us that we had our freon leaking ( something we already knew) and charge us for it. when we called back and told them that we wanted them to fix it / run a leak check, they said that they were going to come back and check it out, they did not come out and check and after many calls they wanted to charge us $8500 to replace the whole unit, they did not even run a leak check. i would not recommend them. read more
