Communication was great as there were frequent calls to walk me though drop off - diagnosis and cost (very reasonable) - and within a week or so, I was instructed as to when and where top pick up for device, which now is back up and working well. If I could, it would be 10/10. Service, service, service The Builtin WiFi on my Sony Bravia would not connect with my home network, while all my other devices could. After I tried all suggested steps, I reached out Engel. Diagnosed the issue, found a solution, cleaned up by connections, restarted the TV software. Perfect - at ridiculous low cost too. As has been said in these reviews, this is the place you hope and pray exists if you support numerous generations of audio-video equipment. I have been doing business with Adam for a long time, probably 20 years or more. In every case where I have brought him a 70s Yamaha receiver, an 80s SONY 5-CD carousel, a 90s Samsung TV, he has returned it to me in excellent working condition. Adam was super honest when checking out the problem my 1980s Harmon Kardon cassette deck had (i.e. if worth repairing) - he was able to fix the issue in about a week, when I got it back it worked great until the same issue returned, I told Adam about it and he offered to fix it again at no additional charge - later I tried to use the player again and it worked fine that time and every time since, so I didn't bring it back - that was about 2 ago months, TD392 still going strong! Engel Audio Video is one of those places that you hope still exist, especially if you have vintage audio equipment like I do. I brought my 1976 Technics receiver to Adam for repair. He is well-versed in audio and video from all time periods. A huge plus for me was when you bring your equipment in for repair, there is no mysterious " back-room" for your stuff to disappear to. His shop is his workbench, so you see exactly what is being worked on. He is also extremely reasonable with the repair rates.
