Truly just an amazing spot. Not sure where to start or even end but overall just so much to offer. Their coffee was all incredible, fantastic selection for people with all sorts of tastes. In addition to coffee, there was an incredible array of teas available as well both for drinking and purchase. The interior space was incredible, large and expansive while maintaining cozy and inviting vibes. Seating options were plentiful, great for studying, hanging out with friends, or even just quickly sitting down to enjoy a cup and snack. The shop area was also quite nice with so many coffee and tea options from all over available fresh as well as various trinkets and jsut fun goodies available for purchase, all at quite honestly some fair prices. Was great for perusing through while sipping on a fantastic cup. The staff were all incredibly friendly, but one area that needed some improvement was just how slow everything was. Not sure where the choke was but the line just refused to move despite not even being that long, and it kept doing this. This was not only at the coffee counter too, even at the store counter at first there was just nobody behind it for quite some time as a line formed and we all just looked around for a worker. And then finally one meandered on up, and while e they were kind and friendly, the service was just oh so slow which was quite frustrating. Besides the slow service though I will say it is a fantastic little spot. Unassuming on the outside but once you walk through the doors such an incredible space full of coffee, tea, and so much fun. 8/3/25 My husband and I came here after church for our mini date. Our new favorite little tradition, and this time we stopped by Coffee Times Coffee House. It was such a cozy gem! We shared a slice of Martine's Pastry double chocolate cake and wow, it was divine, so rich, fudgy, and absolutely worth the indulgence. The variety of coffee choices was seriously next level! We shared a cup of their decaf espresso and it was smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. Definitely a spot we'll be revisiting. I got the Moka Jo and a Pistachio Scone and they were both very good I'm excited to try more of the menu. It is very laid back and includes a coffee shop as well as a gift shop. The only drawback I found was the pricing. The coffee all seems like a fair price but the bakery items are somewhat on the more expensive end. I love coffee times!!! They flavor their own beans which gives a lot more robust flavor to the final drink. They have by far the best selection of coffees and also of teas that I've seen in a while! This place popped up when I was searching for a coffee shop to do work in so I thought I would check it out. The ambiance was so nice, half of the space is a coffee shop with plenty of seating and natural light, the other half was a shop selling coffee beans, mugs, and other cute items. The iced coffee was great, didn't need any cream or sugar which is when you know. There are pastry and sandwich options too for a mid day snack. Overall great place, easy parking, will definitely add this to my coffee shop rotation! read more

The place overall is very big and they have a lot of stuff. Its fun to look around at all the fun and artsy stuff. Got my cousin a cappuccino and she said it was really good. Chicken salad sandwich pre made and squished for 1150? Wow, the bread was soggy not a fan. I could be more understanding but there were literally only 7 people in the shop and no one in line. I also asked for a mug so I could sit and enjoy, but because they were so slow they couldn't even get that right. And I got a glare from one of the baristas when I said I had requested the latte in a mug there is something to be said about coffee in a mug. They have treats from Martines (another amazing Lexington spot). I forgot to take a picture but I got the chicken salad with carrots and a hot vanilla chai tea latte, and a Martine's pistachio scone. Everything was delicious and perfectly made! Quaint and cute spot for studying or meeting up with a friend! I came in the other day to do some studying and was there for several hour. There was plenty of space to work and the tables were big enough to fit my laptop and iPad as well as some notebooks (grad student life lol). I came here this past Sunday to do some schoolwork. It is a busy shop with plenty of people hanging out to study or spend time with their friends or families over a cuppa. I guess the shop is connected to two shops, or are the other shops part of the coffee shop? There are plenty of knick-knacks, from mugs, stationery, coffee beans, t-shirts, and more. The coffee selection itself was plentiful, and I ordered an iced creme bru-latte (I'm a basic one); it was good. I could taste how good the coffee beans, and the flavor was strong, just like how I like my coffee. As for the coffee shop part of the store, there are plenty of tables to sit and choose from to study for hours or to people-watch--my favorite thing to do at a coffee shop. Good coffee shop! There's the coffee shop part, then there's the store part you walk through first. The store has lotta types of whole bean coffee that you can grind up there, as well as lots of types of tea leaves. Also many different coffee and tea accessories, so it's great for buying stuff at home. This is what makes it stand out. The part for drinking coffee there is good and reasonably priced as well, good for both studying and talking. Open later than other coffee shops in town which is nice. read more

There aren't many places where you can find course ground beans for French press coffee, so I love having Coffee Times within walking distance of work. I buy a pound or more of coffee at least once a month. That section of the shop gets 5 stars and then some. I have zero complaints. The service is excellent. I'll sing the praises of the course ground hazelnut coffee from rooftops. The other side of the shop is a different story. I'd never ordered a drink at Coffee Times, but after purchasing 2 pounds of coffee, I decided to venture to the cafe. I was on a short break from work, but there wasn't a line and it wasn't terribly crowded, so I figured I'd get a quick latte to go. Boy, was I wrong. I've never waited so long for a drink in my life. My grandmother would have been faster...and she's dead. It took nearly half an hour to get my drink. The latte was adequate (nothing special and certainly not worth waiting for). The case of pastries and snacks looked great. So, I'd consider meeting a friend for coffee and cake. And I will continue to come in regularly to purchase the hazelnut coffee that fuels my transformation from an amoeba to a human every morning. But I learned a valuable lesson: never, ever, EVER go to Coffee Times for a to-go order. read more

Such a cute little coffee shop with plenty of seating and free WiFi! I enjoy stopping here to study on the weekends and grab a coffee drink. The baristas are always friendly and help everyone decide on a drink order that they will like. All of the drinks I have tried so far have been tasty, and I like that they have different coffees of the day. Sometimes the line can be a little long, but they do their best to keep it moving. After you order, they will ask you for your name and call you when the order is ready. I think one of the best parts is the cute store area attached to the coffee area. There are tons of mugs, apparel and journals available for purchase. Perfect for buying gifts or finding a little treat for yourself! The only downfall are the Sunday hours, as they don't open until 11. I'm sure they probably do this to give their employees time off or something of that nature, which is understandable. Just for my schedule I need a place on Sundays that is open a little earlier - I make sure to come here on Saturdays though! read more

So excited to finally be in a coffee shop and sit down for work. Coffee times was the only shop open for dine in and I was expecting the best time. It wasn't good. Me and my buddy got a cold brew and an ice coffee and it was so bad. I have never left a review for a coffee shop but I can't believe how bad the coffee was. My cold brew was just so acidic and his ice coffee tasted like Motel 6 brewed it. Usually love this spot but maybe the quarantine caused them to take a few steps back in quality. A Lexington staple! I've been frequenting this coffee shop for many years. The atmosphere is great, very laid back, hip, and interesting. The coffee drinks are delicious, a favorite is the frozen Kona moka with their wonderful whipped cream. They have a nice selection of food as well. If you like to make yourself own coffee or tea at home, this is also the spot for you. They have a plentiful selection of coffees and tea blends. I kind of adore Coffee Times Coffee house. It's not the most artsy, funky place to be, but it's quiet, cozy, comfortable, and offers more than just coffee. The cafe menu boasts a variety of coffee, tea, smoothies, and baked goods ---- like macaroons!! The few I've had made my mouth happy. Sooo good. (Yay!) The loose leaf tea is probably my favorite about this place. Over in the retail section (actually, throughout the whole cafe) are large containers of different tea for you to scoop out and bring home. Or you can just spend an hour sniffing the containers. Fun stuff. Loooove the selection they have! Oh, and grab a cute mug to drink it in. Love coffee? They've got you covered, as well. French presses, Aeropress (YES! Try one if you haven't already.), Chemex, filters, and coffee beans as well. The 'store' also packs a bunch of cards and fun coffee-related gifts. The location is a bit odd -- tucked away down a side street beyond some stores in a little strip mall. It's almost easy to miss if you don't know exactly where you're going. It sort of throws me off a bit, but at the same time, it's cool to have a hidden gem here. If I lived in the area, this would probably be my 'office' of choice. Can't wait to head back here when my tea supply runs out so I can stock up on more and grab another delicious macaroon. read more

Disclaimer: I'm not a coffee fan. I do like tea though, and I can vouch that they have one of the best, if not THE best selection of teas in Lexington. I vote they change the name to Coffee and Tea Times. All jokes aside, I had my very first coffee shop experience here many years ago. This place has been open for years, but you wouldn't know it because the shop itself doesn't show its age. It's actually more modern, tidy and cleaner than most of the other coffee shops in Lexington. Speaking of comparisons to other local coffee shops, the patrons here seem to be older, not predominately college and high school aged. Maybe that's just happens to be the consensus when I'm there. It's attached to Street Scene, which is a super hip and trendy vintage store. Both of which are on Regency Road. Although Regency is off of Nicholasville Road, which is one of the busiest roads in Lexington, it's not a street that I pass or find myself thinking of often. In addition to an abundance of loose leaf teas and coffee beans, they sell a lot of gift items too. The barista was super nice. He insisted my husband ordered the best drink on the menu, straight espresso shots on ice, but he might just tell everyone that to make us all feel special. Nice play. read more
