The playground has two different play areas a toddler play area and older kids area. My kids really enjoyed playing on this playground because it's not your typical playground equipment. In the lot where there's the boat launch, you have to pay. The parking is free everywhere else. There's a 2 mile walking/biking trail with some beautiful views. The trail is very heavily forested and can be a little humid because there aren't too many breezes along the way. We did the one mile loop and had a great time. The park was immaculate. We were there on a weekday and the park was pretty crowded. So, I would imagine that it can get really crowded on the weekends. Be sure to check out the big swing along the trail. It was great!

It is pretty & has great walking/biking trails but it has way too many overgrown areas that seem unsafe to me. Way too many places you can "disappear" in this inner city park. Plus, the water is not flowing, there is no water fountain, not that I saw & there are way too many bugs bc of the stagnant water. One day I was there, it was raining & it was flooding all over. So the park doesn't have good drainage. Maybe that's why all the bugs & mosquitoes. Either way, it's not the best one I have found by far. There are far more better options/safer options in the area. Won't Return.
