SO GOOD!! Amazing service and the food is 10/10. I would honestly pay double the price for the amount of food i get but i'm not complaining. Don't let the outside scare you, that's how you know it's good local cuisine. Totally worth the trip to Homestead!!

They have the best seafood soup so far it is loaded with shrimp, lobster, fish it's loaded and the taste is amazing I will return just for the that alone. The minuta sandwich wan a good portion not so much flavor but good and the fish croquets where also good. Prices are very fair and the place is clean without seafood smell.

The food took a little longer than expected to come out but it came out fresh and delicious. My fiancé and I shared the frituras de malanga. They were small but full of flavor really good. I got the yellow tail minuta sandwich which they serve with tomatoes lettuce and raw red onion. I loved the fish it was delicious. The bread could've been softer. My fiancé got the breaded dolphin with yellow rice and we both got an order of mashed potatoes. Omg the mash potatoes were so good!! You could tell they make it in house and it taste so buttery and freshly made. If you're in the mood for some fresh seafood I would definitely recommend this spot.

This place is excellent. Seen it a million times, but have never gone until today. Great prices, and delicious Cuban style seafood. Added bonus: Wisin y Yandel videos on the tv

Another place that is amazing but not very well known. I love this place for the fact they have lobster croquettes that are one of a kind everyone must try!! The menu has all kinds of seafood for all tastes they serve fresh oysters the staff is attentive and food is always fresh and quite delicious. They serve a variety of great dishes like the shrimp enchilada ceviche minuta and they have daily specials of fried or broiled fish. My father showed me this place years ago and he knows the owner personally for 20+ years they don't dissapoint when it comes to serving a tasty meal.

Mahi was tasty. Tostones were good. Salad was fresh. Would like to try other menu items.

I've been on the hunt for a while, and I'm happy to report that the search officially ends here. The Star of the Show I ordered the Fried Yellowtail, and it was exactly what I was craving. It was fried perfectly--crispy on the outside while staying tender and flaky on the inside. Honestly, it was so good I was tempted to order a second one just for the road. The Sides The meal came with rice, salad, and a side of fish soup. * Fish Soup: A great starter that set the tone for the meal. * The Salad: This deserves a special shout-out. It came topped with pickled onions, which added a bright, tangy crunch that cut through the richness of the fried fish beautifully. The Verdict This is a no-nonsense spot where the quality of the seafood speaks for itself. If you're tired of overpriced tourist traps or mediocre frying techniques, South Dade Fish Market is a breath of fresh air. Pro Tip: Don't skip the salad--those pickled onions are a game changer!

He walked us through the menu, shared their most popular items, and really made us feel welcome. My husband and I like to try a little bit of everything, and he had his heart set on wings so we ordered the hot honey wings with a side of mac and a side of collard greens. He absolutely loved those wings. I was lucky to get even one bite because he cleaned the bones! The mac & cheese was also a big hit for him he wished he had more. The collard greens weren't his personal favorite, but I enjoyed them, and I know that can be more of an acquired taste. I ordered the fried conch with fries and a side of fried shrimp, plus the mystery drink because I was curious. The drink was delicious it reminded me of something sweet and fun you'd grab at the fair, so if you like sweeter drinks, I definitely recommend it. The conch was fried perfectly not overdone, no old oil tastes just crispy and really good. But the real star of the show was that lobster sauce. Pairing it with the fried conch and shrimp took the whole meal to another level. The shrimp were crunchy on the outside and tender inside, and everything just came together beautifully. I'm honestly still thinking about that lobster sauce and can't wait to come back for more. On top of the great food, the atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly. We got to meet both the manager and the cook, and they genuinely cared about how we were enjoying our meal and if anything needed fixing which it didn't. Everything was perfect for us. We'll definitely be back soon. This place truly left a great impression on us.

The ambiance of the place is elegant yet relaxing, and it feels very welcoming. Our waiter, Mr. Carlos, and his assistant, Juju, were both very kind and friendly. We were seated in a very cozy corner, and our culinary experience began with the wine menu, dinner specials menu, and main menu being presented to us. There was a very extensive food selection, from appetizers and salads to main courses and dessert options. We took our time making the right selections for our appetizer, salad, and main course. The service was fast but never rushed between courses. We had the perfect amount of time to enjoy all of their delicacies. After enjoying this wonderful dining experience, we had the honor of meeting the owner, who introduced herself to us and wanted to know if everything had met our expectations. Her name is Marbella. What a joyful person she is. We told her that everything, including the service, had been excellent and that we definitely planned to visit again. We spoke for a while and learned that the chef, Mr. Gustavo, was also the owner and Marbella's husband. Several of their employees are family members, something I have always enjoyed about family restaurants. It makes you feel right at home. The whole experience was delightful, and we highly recommend it for romantic dinners or family gatherings. It's an amazing place to enjoy Italian food, steaks, lamb, and many other delicacies. I give it five stars. Thank you for making our first visit a wonderful one. Roberto Almeyda
