Came here the other night for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional. We had Maria as our server and she was great. Apparently my parents, who come often, have had great service every time they come. To start we ordered the Ceviche 'Cholo power'. It was so good and refreshing. Then as my entree I ordered the pechuga de pollo with a side of rice and white beans. My mom ordered the Arroz con mariscos and my dad ordered the limo saltado. I ordered the white beans instead of black since my server recommended them when I asked which she likes more. Wow. She was not wrong in her recommendation. They were the best beans I've ever had. I ate them all first. So, so good. The chicken was thin but good. My mom's rice dish was delicious. The flavors were popping out of it and it was moist and very seafood-y. Great choice there. My dad's lomo saltado came out overcooked and the manager took care of it right away. Second time around it was perfect. For dessert we ordered the Mousse de Maracuya and it was so good!! Hit the spot as a sweet treat with like tarte and sweetness. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town!! read more

Before I start the review. I need to say that the listed prices are much higher than advertised. Classy ambiance, servers were dressed to impress. I almost felt under dressed. The app was delicious and the presentation is top notch... Unfortunately our Churrasco were all way under seasoned. I mean we had to add table salt. maybe if they served more chimmichurri sauce on it , it would have had more flavor. However after adding the table salt it was much better. Got introduced to Peruvian food and fusions of the like in recent years and have been trying to explore more of the taste of Peru. This place has a very good menu of authentic (if not, close) Peruvian food. As we sat down it didn't take long to get attention. Different servers work together to get everything to your table. Everything comes very quickly and freshly prepared. It's not too noisy in there also but it isn't the quiet fancy type of restaurant. It's a very casual atmosphere. I tried the Lomo Saltado and its probably my favorite Lomo I've tried so far! Their Pisco Sours are also great and they creep up on you if you're not careful. It's kinda pricey but it's worth the quality and taste of food. read more

I had been meaning to try this restaurant for a while now, and we finally did for a quick dinner. Visited during the week and it was a great choice as it wasn't as busy. It's a small spot so I'd try to make reservations if possible. Great customer service and the food was delicious. My fav was this huge cup of ceviche and fried shrimp and calamari. The food here is always on point. I decided to go a little light and order a ceviche cholo power. I loved it. It's made with ají amarillo which adds a special taste to it. My mom had the ceviche achorado which is made of rocoto peppers. The ceviches are soo filling they have a good amount of fish, sweet potato and corn. The pisco sour was delicious! My mom had two and was already in a nice buzzed feeling. Thee service was great. Our waitress was attentive and made sure to bring water when we were low. Finally the restaurant is very nice. I recently bought a Jalea, a mix ceviche and a lomo salteado ($24.) while the taste was good the amount of meat was more like a child plate, I would say that it was no more than 4 ounces of meat if any. I LOVE Peruvian food and Aromas Del Peru is ABSOLUTELY one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants. The best thing ever is there's always a start of heated up canchitas and their jalapeño sauce. beyond that the service is phenomenal and there's always a fun vibe going on at Aromas. Dining in or taking out, there's a great menu and amount of food that you can almost never have the same thing twice. I highly recommend this place to anyone that I can. read more

Checked this place out again since it had been about seven years since I've been back. I would say over the course of the years it's only gotten better! This place is great for Peruvian food. They have a wide selection of dishes. I got the ceviche with the three different sauces. Really healthy amount of prices of fish were served. I choose medium spicy, which (to me) was not spicy at all and I like spicy food, so I might have to say spicy next time. Service was awesome, plates cleared quickly, waters always full, drinks always offered seconds. They do a dessert presentation too, which is always nice, even though I didn't get anything. If I needed something it was always brought out in a timely manner. Restaurant looks a little more "upscale" since I've been there, not a bad thing, but I'm glad they are doing well. Would love to be back again when I'm in town. read more

I love this place. The pesto pasta is delicious and so are the baked potatoes. The drinks are great the servers are so kind and fast. You'll never go thirsty. The place is cute can be a little crowded but you get a good serving of food for the price. read more

Horrible. The cooks are definitely not Peruvian. The chaufa had a taste like an Indian condiment (kind of like anise or cardamom). The tallarines saltados noodle quality and flavor was poor, it was like eating seasoned rubber bands. And then the audacity to add an automatic 20% gratuity at the end of your online order is unbelievable. Hire the adequate staff and cut your prices to match the quality of the food. read more

Two visits within a month... First time, it was a party of 6. Tried the Lomo Saltado. This was my first time trying it. I found the flavor to be very intense: strong sauce and very salty. 5/10 Second time I had the Chaufa fried rice with chicken. Has an interesting Smokey flavor, but overall very balanced. 7/10 The Classic Ceviche (Corvina) was very good. Not too limey, refreshing. Someone in my party found it to be too salty but as someone who had a small bit, it wasn't overwhelming for me. It had large corn kernels, a sweet vegetable (some kind of pumpkin?) and the tiger milk. 8/10 I wanted to try a traditional drink so I ordered the Chicha Morada. Purple corn...yes, but the drink is sweet and like a juice. Of course I had to Google and found out it typically is made with apples, cloves and cinnamon (I could taste it) and lime (it was very limey, imo). Very good though I would prefer with less like as it was difficult to finish off because of the acidity. 8/10 Desserts! We were excited for this...I had to try the Lucuma dessert as I had never heard of that fruit before. Apparently it's a cousin of the mamey aspire and here it's made into a mousse topped with chocolate mousse over an Oreo crust. An interesting combination but surprisingly delicious. 9/10 The maracuya mousse looked beautiful, with a fun Chocolate syrup and lime drizzle. The passion fruit mousse itself was very very very tart. It was difficult to eat. No one wanted to finish it or eat it. Shame because it was beautiful but not edible. 1/10 Overall the pace is nice, a bit small, and gets full fast but they take reservations. On some weekend nights they'll bring in a violinist plying modern music. Good vibes, decent service, decent food. read more

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while. So glad we came! We made reservations on open table. It was pretty full so I'm glad we did. The space is not huge but not too small either. It has a good vibe from the moment you walk through the door. All staff is friendly and very attentive. We let our server know that we actually weren't very hungry. She wasn't appalled or offended lol but instead suggested we get a large sharing platter called Caminos de Aromas. Wow, it was perfect! Menu and food was good. I enjoyed the selection of ceviches and other non seafood dishes. We ordered a small variety, one ceviche, one steak dish, and some sides like tostones. Unfortunately our server was extremely pushy, insisting we needed more food and to get a special. She was so busy pushing things we did not need or want that she got our actual order wrong.
