The front desk staff was kind and efficient. Took care of my paperwork and got my dental card scanned. Then the dental assistant took me back to do an assessment and took additional xrays. She was kind and detailed in everything she was doing. She even brought me out a warm blanket since they keep the office cold. I met with Dr. Suttle and he was amazing. He was very detailed with my issues, discussed how they approach things conservatively initially. They have a 4 part approach to their care before they determine if more advanced treatment is needed. Your first visit is with your dental hygienist who spends an hour with you teaching you tips and tricks to do at home to maximize care. The next 2 appointments are your deep cleaning. It has a new name now but I forgot it. They clean one side at a time. And then 6 weeks after your deep cleaning, you have another assessment to determine next steps. They do require out of pocket up front at the first visit but they will assist you with the paperwork for you to submit to your dental insurance for possible reimbursement. They are also extremely affordable compared to others in the area. I highly recommend this office if you are having issues that require more advance treatment.

So this is my second extraction/implant experience and it was fantastic. First: understand that none of this is pleasant. But when I say fantastic I mean no issues: from walking into the office for the check, to care getting the X-rays and scheduling, to getting my pre med for sedation (two lorazepams = no more anxiety! Hazah!) and them wheeling me in from the car with my husband driving of course, the experience and quality of care is wonderful. I would minus a star because I can't eat anything crunchy until my stitch is removed, but that's my problem from past Jen not caring for her teeth. I feel like my pain was well managed, my anxiety was well seen and cared for. I hope you don't need him, but Dr. Pierce is top of the line. Very caring and good doctor with great assistance!

When she administered the numbing agent it was completely painless. Her technique was the best I have ever experienced. She also used only the amount necessary for the procedure itself to be painless and did not over use the agent to where my face was numb for hours. The root canal procedure was done very quickly and again painlessly. I have had numerous dental procedures over many years and I must say that today was by far one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. Moreover, she did everything required in one session and not requiring additional procedures on another day. I told Dr. Munn that her dental work on me today was fabulous and I was going to tell everyone that should they require her services, I wholeheartedly endorse her professional quality of care. She then had the nerve to berate me by asking in a sarcastic tone, "How many times have you been married?" As if that's any of her business! I made an appointment after a friend referred me. I complained of tooth pain, thinking it was a cavity. My 1st appointment was only $45, for xray and exam. When I arrived, there was a little confusion as how to pronounce my name, but that got corrected quickly and I was taken on a tour of the building and I immediately felt valued and I decided right then and there this was going to be my new dentist's office. Now, there are a handful of practitioners here. 1 DDS and the rest seem to be DMDs, but after a bit of research, I found that there is no difference in training; unlike the difference between a MD and PA. So, we came up with a dental plan and I felt satisfied with that first visit. I was even gifted a little welcome bag that had a branded figit spinner in it. I thought it was going to be a lame toothbrush or floss. My next visit was my cleaning. Full disclosure: I had not had a proper teeth cleaning in over a decade. While I was ashamed of this fact, no one passed judgement and I'm 100% sure they'd seen worse. They offer movies, Netflix, music, adult fluoride (my favorite part because many dentists don't offer it after a certain age. Bubble gum is still my favorite flavor), laughing gas (if you need it). And after my cleaning I got ANOTHER gift bag, this time with a toothbrush, paste, floss and a sticker. In another fun and cool surprise, I received a handwritten note in the mail about 2 weeks later--a friend became a patient of Reynolda Smiles after I referred her and the office sent TWO $50 gift cards for Reynolda Smiles. One for me and one for another person I'd like to refer. So unexpected and generous. Here's to happy, healthy and clean chompers!

They were very flippant about the error and barely even brushed it off no less apologetic- immediately offered another appointment a month plus later. I recognized at this point that I would not receive quality care in this situation and so I told them I wouldn't be using their practice as my care. I asked if I would get a refund of my $4 copay because I wasn't given service today. Because the dentist entered the room and literally peeked at my teeth while I pulled my lip back, no refund, it counts as an exam. They're going to process it as a visit. Can we say Medicaid fraud? I had an urgent need to…read moresee a dentist and was thrilled to find an office who was willing to schedule an appointment so quickly, so I jumped on the opportunity, but the front office was super challenging to work with. They were nice, but impossible to get ahold of over the phone. Kept having to leave a message and then wait for a call back. My employer had an issue transferring corporate insurance over, so it required some communication on Aspen Dental's end, which was lackluster at best. Most of the time when you call, you are leaving a voicemail. Sometimes you'll call, key in and follow all the prompts to the point where you should be able to leave a voicemail and then it just hangs up on you. This happened multiple times. In addition, they were supposed to call in my prescription 2 days prior to my appointment. I wasn't able to make it to the pharmacy the day prior and work a full time job. Was already taking 1/2 day for the appointment & guess what? They didn't call it in when they said they would, so multiple phone calls again to CVS & Aspen Dental. Ended up missing what I had planned the night before because of it. Also, BE CAREFUL! They recommended a variety of filling replacements. Said they were old and should be replaced. Unless I have a cavity forming under one of them, or it falls out, um... no thank you! They wanted about $1200, $900 of which was just recommended. My insurance would have covered some of that, but still. I've never heard of a dentist replacing fillings before. They try to squeeze extra money from you for services you don't really need, so don't fall for it! When I finally came in for my appointment, I waited an hour & finally asked how much longer. Turns out the front office forgot to tell the doctor I was there. Ug! Doctor was nice/professional and I really liked all of the dental hygienists I worked with. But I probably won't be going back. Customer service is not great at all. If you can't answer my phone call sometimes, fine, I can understand that, but not answering phone calls ever means I won't come back.
