Also, I despise a salon that requires that you purchase a blow dry. $70 extra so I can see what color you turned my hair? Am I supposed to walk out with it wet? The blow dry is not a full, bouncy blowout either. It's what you'd do yourself at your house. Added negative, I referred my mother to the salon and was told by her that I'd receive a referral gift. I didn't mention at checkout because I wanted to see if it was worth coming back to. Unfortunately, I think I'm done here.

We arrived at 4:04 PM and were told the stylist was running about 20 minutes behind because she was still working on another customer. We waited patiently, but the delay became more than 30 minutes. Another stylist even approached us and asked, "How can I help you?" However, the stylist assigned to us interrupted and said we were her clients and that she was "almost done," preventing the other stylist from helping us. I clearly explained that we needed to leave within 30 minutes because my daughter's graduation party had already been planned and booked. Despite this, the stylist continued to ignore us and made no effort to accommodate the situation. After waiting even longer, I finally asked, "How much longer do we need to wait?" At that point, the stylist abruptly canceled our appointment and accused us of "checking your phone too much." She also claimed that my daughter "hopped into my working area" and called her behavior "disturbing." My daughter had simply been standing quietly beside me reading her Kindle for over 30 minutes while we waited. No one even offered us a seat, despite multiple empty chairs being available throughout the salon. This experience was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The stylist verbally attacked my child and ruined an important and special day for our family. We will be requesting CCTV footage to verify these false accusations and are prepared to pursue further action regarding the verbal mistreatment of my child. When I asked to speak with the manager, the stylist responded, "I am the manager. You can Google HR. You can't sue me." She stated her name was Jayd. I also attempted to call 877-319-3919, but no one answered. Please contact me if you read this message. Absolutely unacceptable behavior toward a child and toward paying customers.

The atmosphere is so relaxing! All the staff (and other customers) were so friendly and I felt like I've been going there for years. They have interns there which I liked because it helps me understand what's going on with my hair. They paid such close attention and took their time so I really felt comfortable. But the interns were great! They're going to make great stylists. It was a little pricier than I expected but they did a lot with my hair (I was there for almost 6 hours) but I got a free bottle of shampoo and conditioning treatment! It's also obviously a family affair since I'm fairly certain I was the only one there who didn't know anyone. But the way they spoke about mutual friends/family was really evident. I won't comment on my result since someone doing your hair for the first time is going in blind (and I've had people who have done mine several times come out looking like they're going in blind). But it definitely did look awesome. It's quaint, but they offer you drinks (even wine). My one complaint would be the space is too small. Every station was taken and they were even sharing stations (not in a weird way AT ALL) just to get someone in the chair, in the dryer and in the sink. But overall experience was definitely higher end and I will be back (hopefully with Hannah). I do miss the days of living in the city and having one person completely dedicated to color and another completely dedicated to style...that being said they don't have the space for that so not going to try to say something negative about that. Walked in this morning and I was checked in for a hair cut for my 2 year old son. I showed her a picture of the last hair cut he received there (in the photo it's obvious it's that location with everything photographed in the background) she responds and says that a barber style hair cut and she isn't a barber. I said, "oh that was done here not at a barber). She then aggressively grabs my sons head and he becomes agitated ( he's been getting His hair cut every 3 weeks since he was 10 months old and he's always been really good about it) she kept saying she was getting dizzy with him moving around so much. As I held my phone for my son to watch a show as a distraction, she asked in how he usually was with hair cuts. I reply that he's usually really good. She then reply's and says well it must be me then. She then asked another associate if she could help. The other associate was working on another client at that moment and she kept asking her for help because my son kept moving around. I told her if she was more comfortable I don't mind waiting for the other associate to finish the haircut. I was fine waiting. She then grabs a pair of scissors and says let me at least do the front of his hair and I said that's fine. I don't know if he's going to sit for you. She then grabs them aggressively by the cheeks and tries to cut his hair with the scissors and of course he starts moving around trying to get out of her death grip. I told her that's enough. It's fine. I can wait for the other associate. She then slams her scissors and a comb on the counter and says to me you're blaming me. And I said I didn't say anything you asked me how he was and I said he's usually fine. I never said anything about you. She then slams her scissors on the counter and says to me I've been doing hair for 30 years and I've never had this shit happened to me before. She continued to argue with me for her behavior. Mind you this entire time I'm standing there holding my phone for my son in disbelief. I couldn't believe her behavior at this moment and said please don't touch him again. I can wait for the other associate. At that time the other associate, Peggy was ringing out her client and then moved us to her station low and behold, my son was perfect with Peggy and she was able to do the haircut without a hitch. I did call corporate and I did report the initial cosmetologist. I can't believe that a person like this works with the public as aggressive as she is and works on children and elderly clients. I can't imagine how she treats other clients who do not have an advocate there with them.
