They said they service our brand/model and said the visit would cost $149, to be applied to any repair. When the technician diagnosed the unit, he agreed it was the compressor. He gave us an estimate and collected his $149. We thought Appliance King was going to do the repair. But less than 5 minutes after they left, they called and said they do not service our brand/model. So, basically, they stole $149 and our time in bad faith.

RJ was personable, professional and very neat. I was happy he showed up when he said he would and solved the issue. He assessed our appliance and diagnosed a faulty compressor. Repairs were 1/3 of the price of a new refrigerator, we all felt it was a worthwhile repair. On line, I checked Home Depot and a local appliance shop, his pricing was accurate. The refrigerator is now 2x the price we paid 4 yrs. ago. When scheduling the appointment, I received a confirmation email. I was asked to text a picture of the model & serial number from the appliance in advance. RJ came with all the parts & equipment needed to do the repair. He spent 2 1/2 hours replacing , soldering & cleaning out the lines. He accepted credit cards & we received an email receipt. RJ left his card & told us not to fill the frig for 24 hours. RJ followed up with us the following day. He believes the service contract companies aren't worthwhile as they don't hire quality technicians.
