Highly recommended Italian restaurant. My husband is notoriously critical when it comes to food. He commented that the pollo alla parmigiana was the best Italian food he has ever had. Trust me, it's a huge compliment and you won't be disappointed. Located in Cary's Waverly place, Enrigo's serves up authentic Italian dishes made with quality ingredients including fresh pasta and pizza dough. We ordered: Crostini Trio ($12.00) - delicious, flavorful appetizer Pollo alla Parmigiana ($26.00) - phenomenal Gamberoni al Vino Bianco ($26.00) - seasoned and cooked perfectly, paired well with the included fresh bread Tortina di Cioccolato ($10.00) - delicious and rich Vanilla Panna Cotta With Strawberry Sauce ($6.00) - good but much smaller than expected Overall, we greatly enjoyed our meal here and recommend this restaurant to others!

    | Overview + Authentic Italian pasta dishes + Brilliant customer service from Angelo + Pleasant ambiance ideal for Valentine's date & other date nights + Vanilla Panna Cotta is a delicious dessert - Complimentary bread served with butter instead of dipping oil | Full Review For our (belated) Valentine's dinner, my girl & I went to Enrigo Italian Bistro, located at Waverly Place in Cary, on a Saturday night, and we arrived around 30 minutes before its 9:30 PM closing time. It was our first time coming to this restaurant, and the entire Waverly Place open-air shopping area. We just found out about Enrigo after watching an Instagram reel from lindaeatsworld earlier that week. It was a rainy evening, and entering the cozy ambiance of Enrigo with its dim lights and relaxing and vibrant environment just felt right. We were welcomed by a friendly Italian staff who greeted us in Italian. The first thing I noticed inside was the bar but the entire night I was focused on my Valentine, and of course, the Italian food. Angelo was our server; his positive energy is a wonderful representation of the Italian spirit as he served food and wine with grace and warm hospitality. The complimentary bread was good but we were a bit surprised to see that it was served with butter in the same kind of packaging that you get with airplane food, rather than the dipping oil other Italian restaurants serve with their bread. Angelo was kind to give us a couple of Bruschetta - toasted Ciabatta bread with tomato marinated in Extra Virgin oil & garlic. Every bite was a healthy crunch, and we ate the Bruschettas and the bread while we waited for our main pasta dishes. When we were trying to decide which wine to order, Angelo recommended based on the pasta each of us ordered. He recommended the $11 glass of white wine for my girl's Linguini Allo Scoglio; and he recommended a glass of red wine for my Rigatoni Al Ragu Di Maile. He let us taste-test each of the wine before we decided to go for them. It didn't take long for our pasta dishes to arrive to our table. Angelo sprinkled grated parmesan cheese on my Rigatoni Al Ragu Di Maile & my Valentine's Linguini Allo Scoglio. I enjoyed the meaty pork ragu sauce of my Rigatoni, and the combination of carrots, celery, onions, rosemary, sage, red wine, and marinara was satisfying. And the cheese was just right. The glass of red wine went well with my perfectly-cooked pasta. The extra teaspoonful of grated parmesan cheese I requested didn't affect the flavor of the Rigatoni much. My girl wanted to eat pasta with seafood, and the Linguini Allo Scoglio was the best seafood pasta dish she's ever tried. There's a generous amount of shrimp, flounder, clams, and mussels on her plate, and it was well-sauted with olive oil, cherry tomatoes, garlic, and a touch of tomato sauce. She was wondering why there was no meat inside the clam shells, but it seemed that the mixture of briny, clammy juices formed the base of the sauce, which she enjoyed with the linguini's texture. Her glass of white wine went well with her pasta. After devouring our delicious pasta dishes, we were already full, so we didn't consider ordering dessert. Thankfully, however, the gentleman Angelo served each of us Vanilla Panna Cotta, small vanilla custard topped with strawberry puree. The custard wasn't too sweet, and the creamy texture and the strawberry flavor on top just made our Valentine's dinner more memorable. As we headed out of the restaurant, we told each other how much we enjoyed our pleasant Italian dining experience here, and expressed our intention to explore the rest of Waverly, and of course, our desire to return to Enrigo Italian Bistro. I'm planning to share a reel of our pleasant dinner experience in Enrigo on my Instagram - jakevyper. | Overall Score: 4.7/5

This is our family go-to spot for outstanding Italian food. We've celebrated 90th and 70th family birthday parties there this year, and we have come for just an excellent dinner. The service is incomparable! We are frequently waited on by Dali, whose exuberance and knowledge, combined with great flexibility and stellar recommendations make each visit memorable. The restaurant itself is attractive and clean. It tends to be a lively environment, and can get pretty loud inside. Highly recommended!!!

So happy to be back at Enrigo Italian Bistro! This time for a solo lunch. Was greeted warmly by owner Gabe with a glass of Prosecco. Waiter Manny (and honestly all the staff) always makes me feel welcome and comfortable. Nice buzz in the restaurant for Friday lunch. Italian music playing. Waitstaff singing :) Trio of pasta was DELICIOUS! Bread was tasty. Tiramisu was flavorful and light. Oh yes, I'm going back! See you soon Enrigo's!

We had a lively table, and he was able to make recommendations to us about what food to share, enjoy and his own favorites. Jeff was prompt in refilling our beverages, and remembered the small details like a lime slice with the Diet Coke. The food was fantastic, the three of us shared everything. The only thing missing is a photo of the dessert, highly recommend the spumoni dessert - it features a table side marshmallow toast. So fun! Definitely make a reservation ahead of time to ensure seating, either way will be happy to dine here again. Thank you Jeff for your amazing service!

I chose the lunch special with the Cotoletta di Pollo and house salad. Unfortunately, the bread on my sandwich was burnt when it arrived, but the staff quickly replaced it without any issue. The second sandwich was better, though just average overall. The real standout was the Berry Blossom cocktail, which was absolutely AWESOME! It was refreshing, flavorful, and easily my favorite part of the meal. The fries were also excellent, and the pasta dishes were definitely the stars of our lunch. Our bartender was serving us and did a fine job taking care of everything we needed, but the service felt a little less warm and personable than we typically enjoy. That said, the issue with my sandwich was handled promptly and professionally. Overall, the rigatoni, delicious pasta, amazing Berry Blossom cocktail, and great fries made for an enjoyable lunch. We'd definitely return and look forward to trying more items on the menu.

The host was upbeat and pleasant and I was shown to a table quickly upon entering. It is a fairly open and bright atmosphere but I did notice it tended to be rather loud even if not very full. There seemed to be a lot of banging (almost like throwing?) sounds of plates all around. My server came and got my drink order quickly and pleasantly. I got one of the N/A cocktails from "The Dry Bar" section of the drink menu, called Intern-Earl Affair with blueberries, Earl Grey, lemon, and lavender. I liked this mocktail a lot, good flavors without being overly sweet as many mocktails tend to be. Bread service was brought to the table and while I really enjoyed the inside texture of the small loaf with the oil/balsamic vinegar, the outside was a bit, and unexpectedly, tough. To start, I went with the Wedding Soup and their version is pretty good but not the very best I've had in Morrisville (if you know me, you know where my favorite is...). For my meal, I went with the Carbonara pasta selection but their version includes peas and chicken unlike traditional carbonara. This dish was good, I enjoyed it except it was a bit heavier or thicker in finish than I remember. With carbonara, I tend to think of it as a lighter pasta choice where less is more. Tasty, but pretty heavy here with this meal. My server was always pleasant and helpful, good service this time. I also noticed generally that the prices are a bit higher on the menu these days (sign of the times maybe). In all, a good meal (a bit heavier than expected) with pleasant service for this visit to Leo's Italian Social at Park West Village in Morrisville.

The birthday girl turned 94 and it was her first time at Rigos. She loved it and is looking forward to returning. She chose the lasagna that came with bread and salad. I was about to order 2 but ended up buying only 1 after being surprised to see that price spiked to $35. It's not like they added any premium ingredients or enhanced it any way. Yeah, it's specialty good but not worth $35 in my book. On top of that, there's a $2 service fee for a pick up order, and when asked to get extra masala sauce and garlic sauce, I got charged extra for those on top of the overpriced pizza. Final bill reached to about $44. For that amount, I could get 2 Extra Large pizzas at Marco's. As much as I love Rigo's Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, I just think the price increase is ridiculous. At least 1 small container of garlic sauce should be complimentary (like Marco's) but can't believe they charged me extra for that. The lady at the cashier was friendly, and gave me some crushed red pepper and parmesan cheese for free, so that part was nice, but sadly, I probably won't be returning to Rigo's anytime soon after this disappointing experience.
