We decided to take a chance with a company not provided by our cruise and I'm glad we did. I found this company on a Facebook group I was on for our cruise heading to Ensenada. I had actually contacted another tour company but after our initial conversation they never wrote back to me. Jesse from Ensenada excursions messaged me back within a couple of hours of my initial message and answered all my questions. We explained we wanted to do some sight seeing with a focus on getting some good photo opportunities and good food. Jesse said the best option for us was to do a city tour where we could get a private tour guide for 2 hours and our guide would recommend some spots and we could tell him any other places or ideas where we wanted to go. That sounded exactly what we wanted and so we set the plans. He was able to book me a tour the day before we arrived at a great price. We booked at 10:15 and showed up closer to 10 and our driver was there waiting for us with a sign with my name and a Happy birthday message for my wife which she loved. Right away we hit it off with our driver and he took us to many local sights and places where we could get some great photo opportunities. He shared stories about the town and about his life and it felt like we were just ridding around with a friend. We told him that we also wanted to try some good tacos and he took us to a place that was amazing. To end it we wanted to do some shopping so he took us to the Main Street with all the shops and restaurants and gave us his number in case we couldn't find his car. We went to get a couple drinks at Hussong's and then did some shopping. After we were done we found his car and he happily took us back to the ship. We forgot our drives name. He was a young man with braces. I wish we remembered his name because he was amazing and deserves all the recognition he can get. Hopefully the company can figure out his name for me so I can update the review. As far as price it was We had to pay a $40 deposit with the rest of the $54 due at the end of the excursion. To us that was a great price and at the end of it all we were so happy and glad we took this trip with Ensenada Excursions. It was way cheaper than any excursion that was offered by our ship and we have actually taken an excursion by the cruise company in the past and felt like this one was such a better value and way better experience. It was such a great private tour and if we ever come back we would book with this company again. They offer so many other options and different experiences at great prices I highly recommend everyone check them out.

Absolutely the best. Everything was taken care of, our Driver Oscar was amazing and very friendly and knowledgeable. He was waiting for us when we got off the boat and stayed with us all day. Also I love that everything is paid for at the end in one place, makes everything so convenient. We did ATV ride, LA Bufadora, Tacos, and Massage. Would definitely recommend to use them over the excursions through the boat which were way more expensive.
We booked a custom private tour as a cruise shore excursion to visit 3 boutique wineries in the Quadalupe Valley and a 30 minute couples massage in Ensenada. Our driver Jose was waiting just beyond the security area at the cruise port with a sign with my name on it. He drove us in a modern air conditioned car to all of our stops and gave us information on the area before dropping us back at the ship. The wines were very good, the massage was relaxing and we would definitely book with them again. Great communication leading up to the tour/excursion
if you're hesitating to book through Ensenada Excursions and Tours, don't second guess it, just do it! It was so worth it! We did the zipline excursion at Las Cañadas, and it was so much fun! First time ziplining, and I would definitely do it again! Our tour guide, Mr. Jose Luis Zayola, was the absolute best! He had information on Ensenada and conversation for days! He had such good energy! Would definitely book through Ensenada Excursions and Tours again! And I can only hope to have Mr. Jose Luis as a tour guide again! Muchas gracias!!!
Wonderful experience! Booking away from the cruise line can be unsettling, however, we felt safe with Tomas (our guide). We were 30 min early to our arrival time and expected to wait but surprisingly he was there with a sign to welcome us. Tomas took us to the ziplining place, which is absolutely beautiful, and waited while we did the adventure. Afterwards, we went to visit the Bufadora. Tomas dropped us off and told us to meet him back in 1 hour so we could go to our massage appointment. We decided to sit down at the restaurant closest to the Bufadora which was a mistake. Food wasn't the greatest and we got conned into paying $20 for 2 songs. 4 guys came over playing music and just stood there around us. We gave them $10 to leave. I thought that was more than generous, however, one of the men said "uno mas" and put his hand out for more money. Next time we will just skip the uncomfortable environment. You have to walk past shops and pushy salespeople 2x just to get to the sight. It's not worth it in my opinion. Regardless, this had nothing to do with the excursion place. Tomas was very friendly and answered any questions the group had about the local area. Don't sit in the backseat of you get car sick. Tomas is a race car driver, lol! We had a memorable time and will definitely book again in the future.
I want to start off with honoring Martha!! She was so sweet, kind and professional and made us feel extremely special. It being my birthday I was welcomed with a smile and a sign that I thought was such a cool gesture from this company. We did the zip line then the ATV and my boyfriend and I have not stopped talking about how amazing everything went. I recommend 1000% this excursion tour to anyone visiting this beautiful place. Our driver Oscar Martinez picked us up from the carnival cruise and drove us to Pai Pai zoo in Ensenada. It was so much fun and he was so nice and helpful. He was like your own personal tour guide :) thank you Oscar for taking care of us and making the trip feel safe and educational. I would highly recommend this company for events and excursions.
This company is awesome!! I love that the excursions/tours are just you and your group. You have a dedicated guide for the duration of your activities, which I was not expecting at all, but it was so nice and made it more personal. Pablo was our guide today and he was so nice, chatted with us and offered up suggestions when we asked. All of our activities were just my kids and I as well, which was great, especially when we rode the ATVs, you weren't waiting for others in the group to be able to move on to the next spot, everything was at your pace. The price is also a great deal!!! So glad I saw the post about this company on my cruise Facebook page, it was well worth it and we had an amazing time in Ensenada! Would definitely go book again if/when we come back.
If you're looking into booking your excursions here, do it! I was honestly scared booking an excursion not from our cruise ship (Royal Caribbean) but there was nothing to worry about. The communication was amazing even before I booked and throughout with any questions I had. I inquired about the zipline, ATV and La Bufadora. The price given was the price of one excursion through the cruise! Saved a ton of money and had our own driver who knew the roads well. There was construction with heavy traffic but he knew his way around and got us everywhere on time. Instructions were clear and signage were clear so we were never nervous about what was happening. Honestly was the most fun we had our entire cruise too. I would book again if I ever end up back in Ensenada!
First time with this company & everything went amazing! From California & found them on Tik Tok! Booking was easy & they replied fast to emails! The prices were fair! The transportation by our drivers Tony & Jesus "Chewy" were fabulous! They were both so nice & caring & made me & my husband feel safe! They picked us up from the border & took us to our hotel & they also picked us up from our hotel & also stopped after the excursions to get us food & even go to the store! Everyone was sooooo nice! I would recommend this company 10/10. Pai Pai is a must! Has such a great time! Also went to La Bufadora & went shopping & had drinks then the horses. Through the Valle de Guadalupe tour- ATV, wine tasting and massages! We had a fantastic time. Our driver Thomas was great- super helpful, patient and accommodating. Jessie's team at the spa did a great job- my husband and son said it was the best massage they have ever had. The facials were wonderful for my daughter and I. The ATV company was great- Abraham was our guide, such a sweet kid. Everyone agrees that the excursion, as a whole, was the highlight of the trip! We didn't want to leave but We will definitely be back.

10/10. Our guide CHUY was the sweetest!!! We traveled with our children and being in a different country can be a bit nerve wracking but he made us feel so welcome& most importantly SAFE!!! He stayed with us during every stop and he taught us alot about the city. & ensured we made it back to our cruise with more than enough time . Will definitely recommend him next time! read more

Every chance I get, I am recommending Ensenada Excursions to anyone going to the Ensenada area! During our Carnival cruise, our excursion to Valle de Guadalupe for wine tasting was the highlight of our entire cruise trip! They are truly a 5 star business because they are THAT AWESOME! We booked the upscale wine tasting package and it was just the best day ever. Our driver, Jose Luis Blanco, was friendly, prompt, and just a nice and sweet guy. He made us feel safe and is just so knowledgeable as he is from Ensenada. It was just my bf and I so it felt like we had our own private driver. We went to three beautiful wineries in Valle de Guadalupe and we did not feel rushed as he patiently waited for us. The wineries weren't too busy since it was in the morning so it felt like our own VIP experience. On our way back to Ensenada he asked us if we wanted to stop for tacos or souvenirs in the downtown Ensenada area before getting back on the ship. He even let us stop at OXXO for snacks! Though we didn't do the taco and souvenir stop though we had plenty of time to do so, it was just so nice and thoughtful that he offered that! He was just the best driver! 20/10! The best part is, we were back on the ship at 3:30pm and the ship leaves at 5:30pm. They will make sure you are back with more than enough time which was my biggest concern! Even if we stopped for tacos and souvenirs, we were still back to the Ensenada area around 3:00pm from our tastings with enough time to do this and be back on the ship on time. This company was just fabulous, I am so sorry that I never knew about them prior to this venture, otherwise, we'd have been using them all the many times we've been in Valle de Guadalupe. They followed up with confirming our visit, pick up locationa and time thru WhatsAp and direct phone numbers. We were picked up at the exact time and location by Gino/Genaro, who had a great van, air conditioned, and very clean. He has been working in the Valle de Guadalupe wine region for years, and knew all the many wineries and was charming and so informative. We all ate lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, the most famous pizza place high up in the forest. We had a wonderful day, and hit a few of the best wineries. My friend and I took a few more friends who had never been up to the wine country before and they were very impressed. read more

My wife always wanted to go horseback riding. This was the perfect beginner experience. The cooling breeze and the scenic view at the beach was perfect. My wife had great first experience. I'd also like to mention that our driver/guide, Chuy, was very friendly and spoke good English. He really took good care of us. We finished our excursion with a 1 hour couples massage. It was so relaxing and the best way to end the day. I would highly recommend this package. read more

We are so happy with our TOUR! We booked them privately instead of on the cruise and I am so glad we did! The cruise tour was with a group on a bus. With Ensenda Excurusions, we got our own driver and were able to enjoy the trip with just us! It was so nice! Our driver Jessie was so awesome, he spoke English, showed us around Ensenada, and got us back to the SHIP ON TIME! We booked the Kayaking excursion and it was totally memorable, My father-in-law loved it and I am so glad he got to experience it! Our Kayaking guides were Ensau and Lindsey - awesome people! Lindsey kept an eye on us and made sure we were safe, she at one point parked her kayak in front of rocks so we wouldn't run into. I really enjoyed Ensau- he so funny. He spent so much time talking with us and explaining to us what we saw. Highly recommend this company! Next time we go to Ensenda will book again! read more

Book with Ensenada Excursions and Tony was our guide. He picked us up right outside the port where cruise ship dropped us off. He took us to Las Canadas for ATV riding and the to La Bufadora for some sightseeing drinks and food. Overall had a great time learning about the recent carnival festival they had and about all the interesting things Tony told us about Ensenada and daily life there. He recommended Lidias tacos at La bufadora the food was good. read more

I booked an excursion for my family of four, to go zip lining, atv riding and visit la bufadora. I was nervous booking at first because it was not associated with our cruise. Communication from Jesse was awesome from the quote he gave us, up to the completion of our trip. Pedro was our guide and we had a great time with him. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and made our experience better than we could have imagined. What is truly impressive is that Jesse not only seems to insist on great customer service from his employees, but also from the outside vendors he chooses to do business with. The ATV and the zip line employees were also incredible. I can't say enough about how great our experience was with Jesse, Pedro and everyone else that was a part of our day with Ensenada Excursions. Looking to go back to Ensenada just so we can book with Jesse and Pedro again. read more

We had a great time with the La Bufalo tour, the owner Jesse from Ensenada Excursions gave us very good price for the private tour for our group of 9 persons, she provided excellent communication and direction to the meeting point. Our tour guide Alfredo and the driver are very friendly, and flexible with our requests. Alfredo took us to see the spectacular view of Ensenada that was not many tourists know, and we ate at a local place with the best tacos. We really enjoyed the tour and definitely will recommend this company to our friends and family when they have a chance to visit Ensenada. read more

Superb experience. Highly recommend!! 10/10 This was my 3rd time booking with this company and it's simply because of the outstanding customer service. This booking included a private tour to the blowhole and massage. I was even able to travel with my service dog. Thank you. We were greeted with a surprise Welcome sign that made everyone feel special. The ride was smooth, extremely safe and scenic. Our driver stoped for us to take pictures on the way. Super nice! We arrived at the blowhole and had enough time to explore, shop and eat. We were then taken to the massage parlor and back to the ship. Juan took us around in a ford flex taxi. I booked over text and paid the deposit online. Juan was outside the gate at the port on time and took us quickly to Las Canadas and the Bufadora. Although the activities were fun, he took us to his favorite mariscos stand at our request and it's now my favorite mariscos stand. It's next to the Kia dealership in Ensenada. Tips: be aware the canopy tour requires several shaky bridges on thin boards. It's pretty sus and was scary for my 9 yo although he made it. For atv, bring a face mask or other to keep dust out of your mouth. Highly recommend this tour company! read more

My boyfriend and I went on a Carnival Radiance cruise a few weeks ago and wanted to do something fun in Ensenada. The excursions provided from the cruise didn't really interest us (not to mention they were very expensive) so I took it upon myself to find something to do for the day. I came across Ensenada Excursions while looking up places to do ATV riding and saw they had great Yelp reviews. I booked an ATV tour and rope course activity for the day. We had a great time! Our tour guide Guillermo picked us up by our cruise's dock and took us to the tour. It was so fun and made our trip one to remember! I was a bit nervous as this was our first time in Mexico together and wasn't sure what to expect (I also was afraid of getting scammed LOL). However, we had a blast! My party of four had an amazing time. Our tour guide was perfect. He was personable and informative and very funny.
