While visiting my daughter in Virginia Beach, she took us to Enson Market as she said there were a lot of familiar items that I would like. I really enjoyed visiting this market. It was clean, smelled fresh, and the vegetables, fruits, and produce had good quality and appearance. What I enjoyed the most was having access to a lot of my favorite items that I don't typically find in my state. I purchased a few things to take back with me. The next time I am in town, I will definitely visit this market.

So excited to shop a huge market like this one!! I really enjoyed walking down all the aisles and checking products out as well as looking for some that I loved to enjoy while living in Japan for three years. The market looks fairly new, modern ( maybe recently renovated? I'm just visiting this area, have never been to this market.) very clean, well organized and well stocked. There were a lot of staff members replenishing shelves and cleaning areas. The cashier was very polite and quick.

So I went to end on again yesterday and saw this frozen durian and they're from Vietnam instead of Thailand. Thai durian has been a huge disappointment the last 12-13 years with no smell, no taste and horrible texture aka not ripe. I opened it this morning and O.M.G! If you're a durian lover, buy them! They're as good as durian from Malaysia at 1/3 of the price. Sorry musang king durian, I love you but I'm not rich enough to keep buying you. These Kimbab is my new found love too. They're so good I didn't even realize it's plant based. And they cooked well in the microwave so it's really easy.

I went during soft opening so they still had shelves to fill but they had a lot of items available that I can see myself purchasing from here. It's a big Asian grocery store with a lot of Asian staples. But I believe they are more heavy on the Chinese items though. They have beauty products to household stuff. Plenty of options for vegetables, fruits and seafood and meat. Definitely can't wait to see when to the store is fully stocked!

I had a great experience at Enson Market! We were looking for Chu Hi ! They had it , yay! I love this drink so much. They had a variety of foods and sauces . It was all delicious looking. The staff were super friendly. I also loved the breads and candies they had. Parking is ample, location off of kempsville Road , very convenient. I can't wait to go back!

This is a new international supermarket that has different seafoods, produce, and lots of different ethnic foods. The store is pretty big and theres a good amount of parking out front. The produce was a decent price. There were a few high priced items as well. They're still not completely stocked yet. But they have a good amount of choices. I found a container of apples for $10. I'm afraid I'll like them, I don't wanna make a habit of spending $10 on tiny apples!!! Lol. But they looked good so I couldn't pass them up. They have a good selection of ramen, rice, meats, snacks, and more. The sauce aisle is pretty awesome, so many choices!! I did have a problem with a few prices that were listed being more expensive at the register. The lady who helped me was nice, but she didn't honor the prices they listed. That was my only issue. I do like the store. Check them out!!

This highly anticipated Asian grocery store finally opened and the store is clean and bright. I love the bring LED lights they installed as it gives it the less dingey vibes in the majority of other Asian grocery stores. The store is large and it seems to be a work in progress still, which is understandable as it's only their soft opening. As I made my rounds, the produce seemed fresh and plentiful and I love their seafood section, which is always the main attraction at all of the bigger Asian/International grocery stores. Fresh fish on beds of ice, and other shellfish in large buckets, nicely organized in open fridges. Most of the shelves are stocked with canned and dried goods, but it looks like they have more stocking to do. You'll still find lot of goodies there. I think this brand, Enson, focuses more on Chinese groceries, with a bit of everything from other Asian countries. There seems to be another location in Orlando and there, they have a take out counter offering ready-made roasted duck and char siu which I hope is definitely in the works in VB! Just a note, Enson has a tank full of live fish, as well as a bucket of live frogs. If you are weak for things of this nature, steer clear of the seafood section in the back! I didn't pick up anything this go around since I had already had plans for dinner, but my friend bought some shrimps, medium size at $3.99/lb. Not sure if that's just an opening special, but if those are normal prices, that's a steal! Can't wait to go back when they are fully stocked to see that other goodies they are going to carry! Great addition to this area! Enjoy, Friends, and never stop exploring!

So excited for this grocery store to open!!! We've been waiting for this location and happened to notice they had a soft opening. Shelves are still in the works of being stocked; however, we did notice they have a ton of essentials. Was able to grab items we couldn't find at other international grocery stores. Prices for the most part are cheaper. Some price tags are still missing or incorrectly marked. Hoping g they have a restaurant open up, looks like they may in the front. They have a produce section, meat department, seafood department, etc.

I am so happy to have a bigger Asian store in the area that reminds me a lot like Seafood city and Hmart. I wish it was a lot closer to where I live in Hampton cause I would be there all the time! Hopefully they make one of the other side of the water too. Definitely recommend going here!

Went to the New Chinese international market Enson Market that is new came from New York opened in Kempsriver shops not a lot of stuff is on shelf since it's soft opening not a lot of price tags yet either. They don't know farm fresh fried chicken since they came down from NY. They have bakery items, seafood etc. They will have roast pork or duck hanging They want to build a bridge between China and USA for USA who wants Asians products by importing China products so a tons of chinese products that I been wanting. I like that they have japanese beauty products as well and korean products. I read that its like whole foods on their website. Its maintence right now so cant read the rest. The service is great friendly cashiers. It is very clean and spacious since its in a former Farm Fresh. My dad even though not everything is stocked he went three days in a row.

The new location has only half of what I bought at Jefferson Avenue in Newport News (not the other store on Warwick blvd.) E-Mart was relocated virtually overnight and without warning to Virginia Beach from Newport News. World Market in Newport News is the new E-Mart and has only furniture, not the Asian food I was looking for. Instead, I went next door to Fresh Market and bought two bags of red, white and blue potato chips. The woman of color behind the counter knew I understood what they had done. She said something out of context with my shopping trip: "It's my turn now." As if reparations are my duty to the world and I have to hand over the American legacy on a silver platter to make things right. Oh, so that's why you keep moving things around. Okay! The food was ready in about 8 minutes and the gentlemen brought it out to my car, which was very nice. I liked the chicken gyro. It was different textures because of the toppings with a good taste and crunch. The chicken tawook was also good. I liked the beef as well, it was tender and the sauce on it was good. The hummas and tzatziki sauce tasted good also. It made the gyros better. I like that the gyros are rolled kinda long and thin so its easy to eat without everything spilling out. You could easily eat it and drive. The rice was cooked just right. It had no flavor at all, but it was somehow still good... I'd return to try other things.
