I went in for a constant sinus problem I've been having and as soon as DR Patrick Haas came in it felt like I was being interrogated, as he went on to make me feel stupid about everything I said he said you're face is not swollen but as seen in the picture below shortly after it is clear that it was. If I could leave NO stars, I would. Absolutely TERRIBLE experience at this office!!! (ENT and allergy specialists, Florence location) My son has a broken nose, which needs to be reset. He can't breathe, he is extremely sick from the antibiotics that they put him on over the weekend at the ER - and in horrible pain. We waited 3 days for our appointment, only to get there, sit in a room for 30 minutes, just to have the nurse come back in and tell us that we have to reschedule for another day because the doctor got pulled into another surgery. Why on earth are you scheduling office visits for a doctor that is on call or has a surgery day??? There was no other doctor in the office. We have schedules to work around too. I took off work, my husband took off work, my son has been out of school for 3 days waiting on today's appointment. These doctors obviously care about nothing, and assume their more important than the patients they are seeing. I am so completely upset by the horrible experience we had today - and will make sure anyone I know never goes here. Absolutely ridiculous way to run a business. We will be going to Children's - which is where I should have scheduled with in the first place. Lesson learned!!!!! read more

So far, the staff and doctors have been courteous and verynice to us, because of my husband's hearing issue. I had gotten this phone number for the ENT team last year, when I was in the hospital with pneumonia. I had asked one of the doctors about possibly getting my husband in to see one of the other doctors and the doctor I talk to said that it wouldn't be a problem. We have not had any issues with getting into see the doctors. I've been a patient at the Florence for office for well over a year. Referred for hearing loss in my right ear and constant sinusitis. The staff was efficient and professional. Dr. Domet was patient while explaining and answering my questions. The pressure to my eardrum was relieved by the tube insertion. My hearing has improved, and I've not had any sinus problems since. Dr Krohl is great. He is very good about letting you ask questions and doesn't make you feel silly. It isn't in a hurry to get onto the next patient. He makes you feel like you are the only patient he has for the rest of the day. read more

A year ago my daughter received tubes. I wasn't comfortable with the setting at all. It didn't feel professional. We went through with the procedure anyway. That was a mistake!! She came out of surgery screaming from a headache I'm assuming from the anesthesia! They assure me she was fine but she wasn't! They had to give her meds to calm her down. Here a year later she has more infections than before and there is a problem with the tubes! I called them for help since they screwed up. The receptionist wouldn't even let me finish speaking when she asked for my daughter name and date of birth. The whole time I remained professional and kind until she told me my daughter couldn't be seen until we paid the over $1000.00 bill! I went to ENT & Allergy Specialists (Edgewood KY) to see Dr. Bryan J. Krol. During the visit Dr. used a nasal endoscopy device for a few minutes. I did not realize that that will be a separate charge. I was not warned by the doctor or his staff. There is a $330 charge for a device used for few minutes that is not much different than the use of a stethoscope for a patient. I called the billing department of ENT & Allergy Specialists and they told me that I signed a document accepting such additional charges. Yes, I signed paper work. Am I a doctor, how would I know what these procedures are on those papers. I should have been verbally warned by the doctor or his staff that this is a separate procedure to be billed. In addition $330 is too much of a high price for a simple short procedure. The doctor's office said that I have not choice other than paying and no way of reducing the bill other than a mere 10% if paid fully. If you don't want to pay a huge bill, avoid ENT & Allergy Specialists. read more

My wife went their a couple of years ago for a thyroid issue, the service was slow and the non-doctor staff wasn't that friendly, especially over the phone. We had an appointed and waited an hour after the appointment time before we were even called in to see the doctor where we waited another 40 minutes. When I asked why it took so long, they said they had some urgent patients that need to be seen by the doctor. I accept them at their word. Today, my wife was having an ear problem for 3 days and we called them first to see if we could get in because it wasn't an emergency but urgent because of her pain. They told us they she couldn't be seen until July 6th for her issue and again the staff wasn't friendly on the phone, when my wife told them she was in incredible pain, that just told her "I hear you". The doctor we saw a couple of years ago is retiring in July of this year, so we won't be going back to this place. read more
