I arrived on time and waited 35 minutes to be taken into an exam room. The nurse asked if I was OK with the nurse practitioner and then wanted to take my blood! I declined both and then waited for an additional 30 minutes in the exam room. When I asked how much longer it might be, I was told there were still two patients ahead of me. At that point I had been in the office for over an hour and I left. I asked to speak with the office manager ( conveniently his wife, Paula). My response was a letter in the mail stating that "our patient-physician relationship is terminated"! If you complain, you're out...no loss to me.

The adult group is made up of four male physicians, a male physician assistant and a female nurse practitioner. I am female and and saw one of the male physicians for a new health issue (I saw him a total of two times). I do feel he proceeded with the appropriate tests, etc. The problem is with lack. One of test results was alarming and I had basic questions. My physician was off that day, which was fine, so I asked the clinical staff to have the on-call physician return my call of which he did not. I found out later, my personal physician called the staff and asked THEM what my questions were and that he would follow up with me via MyChart. He did follow up via MyChart answering one of five questions. I asked via MyChart (that is their preferred method of communication - no one every calls you) to be transferred to another physician. within the practice for care. I have been with this group for the majority of my adult life. Now I see a very good Nurse Practitioner, that I like. I hope to form a relationship with her, seeing as I don't like changing medical personnel. If you don't know this practice is inside a building with other businesses, like mostly financial, you will miss it. You won't see any indication this practice is in the building from the street. So just be aware to be very careful and pay attention to the directions.

My spouse's dad had just died, so now was NOT the time for him to not have this medication. I was unaware that he was having trouble getting med refill and encouraged him to CALL the office. We learned that Dr. Fisher **had seen and ignored** the MyChart message. After 9 days of waiting (spouse was grieving too badly to handle following up until I got involved), staff at office helped him get his meds refilled, but Dr. Fisher wasn't involved -- it was handled by an LPN. Someone so uncaring and callous shouldn't be in medicine. (Note: I saw Dr. Fisher 1 time when I had an urgent need and couldn't get in with my doctor, also at the same practice. I didn't like him from the moment he walked into the room, which was 55 minutes past my scheduled appt time.) Horrible doctor!

She finally found Dr. Amal, who per their receptionist checked off both boxes (accepts Care Source and is accepting new patients.) She scheduled her appointment at the Mason location for the soonest she could be seen--9 days later. No issue, my wife was just happy to have found a doctor. A day before her appointment, someone from her office called to verify her appointment. While on the phone, she confirmed that this office accepts Care Source and scheduled a separate appointment for me (unrelated.) They called 5 hours before her scheduled appointment to confess they don't actually accept our insurance. While we have issues with our insurance, you would think confirming 3 times with one office (and likely multiple people) that this could have been avoided. Not only that, it would have saved my wife from wasting a week and a half to find another doctor that would see her. Very dissatisfied.

My children went there after they were too old for their pediatrician. I use to highly recommend him, until one visit changed everything. This Dr got within 6 inches from my face, yelling at me and I felt spit on my face from this interaction then got up and told me I was a pill seeker?? A little back story... I had a Dr for my depression, he retired. I was on 6 depression meds a day. I weened myself off these meds, but I am in my 50's and in menopause and the hot flashes was 10 times worse, so I asked if he could please put me back on my antidepressants , just one a day for this problem. I mentioned I could go to my Gynecologist if he was not comfortable with this. Thats when things went South!! My Children stop seeing him a long while back, now I understand WHY! I want people to be aware, do not be fooled he will snap. I will never recommend him to anybody because I am sure I haven't been the only one!
