Because I was coming from out of town he worked around my schedule, to which I was very grateful and, that says a lot about the care he has for his patients and passion for what he does. Right away he could see that my nose was crooked and gave me suggestions of what to do moving forward. He did not pressure me to get any out patient work done. I wasn't going to do the surgery until he showed me that breathing on the crooked side was a huge difference of that on the other side. I'm so glad he was able to help me understand that it might be more serious than I think. Very intelligent doctor. I elected the surgery. He did such a wonderful job putting me at ease he has a very warm and comforting personality. Also he is a plastic surgeon so that made me feel very comfortable. Healing time was just a few days, and I had zero bruising. I thought for sure I would have black eyes or something. Once the splint was off I was completely back to normal, I can actually breathe through my nose better than before! During the process, I was reached out by a lady with the name of Lynda Rexroat and I was given detailed information about the role, was interviewed and was told to follow up by her once I was ready to move forward with touring the center to see if I liked the workflows before moving on to the next stage of the hiring process, this created the expectation that I was still being considered. After trying to follow up with Lynda Rexroat multiple times and waiting over a month, I received no response and was ultimately left without any communication regarding the status of my application. What disturbed me the most was Ms. Lynda Rexroat's inability/refusal to follow through what she had said. While I understand that not every applicant will be selected, GHOSTING candidates after setting EXPECTATIONS for next steps is disappointing, disrespectful and EXTREMELY unprofessional. I was saddened to experience these negative qualities from Lynda Rexroat and to see her LACK of knowing how to treat a human being with BASIC respect. A simple update or message from Lynda Rexroat or anyone else from the company would have made a significant difference, especially after reaching out MULTIPLE times for over the course of a month. Dr Alvarez didn't even check his tonsils. He checked his ears and He said he had fluids. He sent us to do a hearing test in his office and of course the child passed the test ( INSURANCE COVERED 100% " CASUALLY" ). NO symptonts of infection or hearing lost at ALL. He just prescribe him some antibiotics. We bought the antibiotics, but we decided to don't give it to our child because we didn't feel comfortable. " Second Appt". Three months later, This time, I decided to go with my husband who is a healthcare provider too, and could prescribe the medication to his son. Dr. Alvarez took "10 minutes" with our son, checked the tonsils and his ears. I'm resistant to certain antibiotics so it wasn't out of the picture to have the infection not be cleared. Previous to my ear infection's onset, I had a sore throat as one does with an ear infection, so that is why I came to this doctor's office thinking the infection may be coming back. I was prescribed by an urgent care 2 separate antibiotics for the ear infection, and this doctor tried to tell me that the urgent care lied about my ear infection and that they diagnosed that as the only way to rationalize my ear pain since they weren't specialized in ENT. He kept asking if the urgent care showed me the inside of my ear to prove the ear infection was present, and the obvious answer was no because an urgent care doesn't have that type of equipment. So the doctor's logic was that the urgent care physicians lied to rationalize my pain. We looked in my ears and they were relatively clean (for the obvious reason that I had finished 10 days worth of 2 antibiotics only 3 days prior) and told me that my sore throat was from clenching my teeth. Clenching teeth causes a "disrupted pressure system in my Eustachian tube" according to him. While that may or may not be true, it's obvious that some sort of infection or bacteria has plagued my ear for the last 2.5 weeks and this doctor is blaming it on teeth clenching..........

I ended up with an infection and he worked with me through it and when he realized I needed more drastic intervention, he sent me to an Infectious Disease doctor and continued to work with him and get updates on my condition. I now see Dr. Preston Imhof for a vertigo/motion sickness condition and he's been great to help me out with ADA forms for work. Tip: Fill the forms out for your doctor and then have him review them. Not only does this save on time, but he doesn't know what your job is, so this helps tremendously. On my last visit he thanked me for having the forms prefilled out and all he had to do was review and sign. He said it's a huge time saver for them. It also saved me the fee for him having to fill out the form! :-)

I had a deviated septum and was seen and diagnosed very quickly. After reading reviews online and talking to others I was told that he is one of the best to go to for this procedure. I scheduled my surgery to take place at his office and was there for a little under 2 hours the day of surgery before I walked out with all the work completed. I've been seeing him ever since and won't go to another ENT if I can help it. The one flaw he has is that he's very abrupt and blunt about what's wrong with you and whatever misconceptions you have about what "you think" is wrong with you. So if you want someone that will tiptoe around your diagnosis and feelings then this won't be the right Doctor for you. I hope this review helps you.

Most recently, the highly incompetent staff provided me an inaccurate estimate for my pre-payment amount. I am currently owed $125 by Emory and they have not provided this refund in a timely fashion.
