We asked Hunter for an all out estimate as if we would be getting all they offered and we scaled back from there. Not once did we feel like Hunter was trying to push us to do it all. One of their reno guys was hurt the week we were scheduled to have our garage done and they were able to keep the dates they promised us and other crews stepped up to help get it done. All with a smile. There were about 6 people total who came to do the jobs on our garage and every single one was on time, worked hard, and incredibly friendly. We really have no complaints. There were a couple of small touch ups that needed to be done after all jobs were completed and Angi scheduled them to come out the very next week (which was 2-3 days after our garage was finished). We hired CCM engineering to come assess damage to our property and recommend what might be required…read moreto make it whole. They were not professional in the handling of the services provided. They sent an engineer without providing any contact information for him for follow up. The report they sent after we paid them several hundred dollars did not include clear explanations of the assumptions made and there were no photos to support any of the comments. After the engineer left, I also received new information. At his suggestion when he was onsite I sent numerous photos to a generic email account. He said he would take his own photos but it was fine to send them to illustrate my points. He never responded to anything I sent. My General Contrator and I requested a meeting for clarification of the report and discuss the new findings. There was no response to this request. I was told by an admin that she was told to tell us that we would have to pay more for a report with photos. The engineer led me to believe there would be photos used in the report. After my request to meet by phone, they did send a new report written by another person who had never investigated any of it that seemed vindictive since it removed the most meaningful information in the original report. I had sent them a report used by the opposing party and maybe there was a conflict of interest there. They should have raised that issue before I sent the report. I would never recommend this untrustworthy company to anyone.

I recently bought a house that had previous foundation work done by the seller. When I asked the…read morecompany to come and fix the foundation they refused to. After talking to several other companies and having them come and give me estimates I called HD Foundations. They were able to work with my schedule and get Greg (the owner) out to do an inspection. I also provided them the engineers report from the seller. Greg arrived right on time for the inspection. He asked me several questions and listened to all my concerns. I showed him around the house and perimeter so he could see the areas I had concerns with the foundation. He stated he had a good idea of what would need to be done and took measurements. He then sat down with me and went over the whole process and pricing of the work. Based on his professionalism I signed the contract and sent it back with the deposit. Ruth and Rose were very helpful in answering all my questions about the contract and covering my concerns. They booked me with Rene who is their pier and beam specialist since my house is from the 40's. I was worried that my work would be delayed because of the rain but Rene and his crew showed up on the start date. They were about 45 minutes late but they apologized and let me know they had an issue with their trailer which is why they were late. They unloaded and started work. I had to leave for a meeting and when I came back two hours later they had half of the holes dug. They even worked around my large hibiscus so not to disturb it. The crew was very professional and expedient in their work. They allowed me to go look at what they were doing and Rene explained everything I had questions on. They even discovered a working spigot under my deck and cut out a hole so I could access it. I didn't even know it was there! When they finished they replanted the items they had dug up and cleaned up as much as possible. The inside didn't show any signs of them being there except the areas that I'll have to fix from the foundation being lifted but that was to be expected and had been explained to me from the start. The outside was cleaned as well as possible due to all the mud from the clay. Overall they did a great job. While new cracks and breaks occurred in the drywall and tiles from the lifting it was to be expected and many of my problem cracks that had appeared are now gone. The biggest plus is that my front and back doors both close and lock with the door knob and not just the dead bolt anymore! I've already referred them to one of my friends and will be calling on HD Foundation again in the future for any additional foundation needs and the drainage solution I'm going to need.
