I found a car here that fit my needs, was in good condition, and the price was fairly competitive. I feel that this Enterprise did as well as the competition. Purchasing a used rental vehicle has its drawbacks: renters don't care how well they treat a car; maintenance is probably pretty consistent, but still not what a good owner would do. There were some issues with suspension that I had to take it back for a couple times. These guys were decent about trying to resolve my concerns. I'm torn between 3 stars and 4. My review is made against other used car sales places. If I could here, I'd probably do a 3.5. They get the benefit of me rounding up for Yelp's system. read more

I wish I could remember the name of our sales person, because he was so remarkable - friendly, kind, attentive and accommodating. I think it was Kevin but I can't be sure. This was last summer, so my memory isn't 100%. We had a car we had been renting from enterprise and wanted to buy it. During a pandemic. With extreme allergies and many requests. Tricky. He handled it seamlessly. I have a lot of allergies and we needed to be sure nothing was done to the car- no treatments or cleanings, no sprays. He was very understanding about this and worked really hard to make this happen. The only issue we had was we really didn't want the air conditioning to be ran but I guess they had to do that to certify the car. The AC has a bacteria smell that affects me a lot and I don't like to run it all, because whatever it is gets all over the car and requires a lot of cleaning. We really appreciated the quick turnaround time and the effort put into this process by Kevin since it's not often that clients ask to purchase a currently rented car. He had to learn the ropes and he did, while honoring most of our requests and accommodations. There was no BS. It was very easy and straightforward. Update since my review from 2 months ago: I submitted a SECOND warranty claim since having the vehicle for about 5 months for motor mounts, turbo chargers and turbo lines. My "shift to park" light was on as well but the warranty didn't cover it. The shop quoted me a little over 5k in repairs. The warranty covered all but about $900, which was great, but the mechanic told me there was no way I could have accumulated all those repairs after only having the vehicle 5 months. After all that was fixed, my brakes started squeaking. I ended up selling the car at auction within a week after that. I took a massive loss on it but honestly I just wanted the car off my hands. I firmly believe that Enterprise in Vista fabricated the condition of the vehicle when they sold it to me, a young woman who very obviously didn't know much about cars. Upon purchase, I was showed documentation that the vehicle passed "inspection." I don't know much about cars, but I'm not sure how that vehicle passed inspection when I had to replace the brake booster, motor mounts, turbo charger and turbo lines within a few months. Enterprise took advantage of me and I believe they knowingly sold me a faulty car. Every woman's worst nightmare! read more

I saw a listing here for a 2019 Chevy Tahoe, sticker price of $48,499, which was an okay deal, considering what's happening with the shortage of vehicles during COVID and dealerships charging an extra $2k to 5k above sticker price. So, after contract was signed and I left, I got a call that they forgot to give me the final contract when I left, so I ended up getting it delivered later that night at home. Long story short, when I looked at the final sales contract 2 days later....it was $60,699!! Reasonably upset, I took the Tahoe back first thing the next day. Same day, I got a brand new 2021 Tahoe from the Temecula Chevy dealership for final price, out the door for $55,800. There's just not transparency, that's all I can say. Buyer beware. read more

The last car I bought was a Saturn and I had every intention of buying a Saturn for the rest of my life. Not because Saturn was the best make ever, but because they made the car buying process so easy and cut out all the slimy dealership sales BS. Unfortunately, Saturn no longer exists and I finally had to go buy a new car elsewhere. Car buying should be fun, but for me it has always been torture (besides Saturn and Enterprise). I contacted Enterprise before heading out to their location (after doing my due diligence on Yelp) and made it very clear what I wanted, what my budget was, what my credit score was, what my income was, and that I don't tolerate BS. They said they got it and would have me in and out as soon as possible if I found a car I liked in my range. They were true to their word. They only had be test drive cars that fit my criteria. There was one car that I wanted to test drive that would have been more than the budget I set. Instead of having me drive it and perhaps fall in love with it and try to push me into it; they told me it would be more than I wanted to pay and not to waste my time unless I wanted to increase my budget. I respected the honesty and didn't test drive it. I bought a 2017 Nissan Altima that fit all my criteria and have been very happy with my purchase. They even hooked me up with a Geico agent while I was waiting to get my car insurance going before I left the lot. The interest rate wasn't great, but I re-financed through my credit union 2 weeks later to knock 7 percentage points off the rate. As we all know, financing through the dealership hardly ever optimal. Always try to secure your own financing if possible or re-finance as quickly as you can after. The salesperson I worked with and their manager were great, no complaints. I can't recall their names at this time, but they were men. I want to say one of their names was Dave? I will definitely use this Enterprise Car Sales location again if needed and recommend it to others. Reason I specify this location is not all locations are equal unfortunately. My parents and I have previously purchased cars here and were very happy with the cars and customer service. I purchased a Hyundai Elantra and the brake light went out a few months later. My parents purchased their Hyundai Tuscon a few months after I purchased my car. I asked them if they would mind repairing my rear brake light. The manager refused to do so.....after spending over $25,000 for both cars!!!! My parents car also smelled like smoke and they said it was easily fixable so my mom brought it in for treatment. It helped a bit but still smells like smoke!! VERY DISAPOINTTED WITH THE MANAGEMENT!!! They dont care about their customers and are only there to make money and try to sell you stuff you dont need. Beware of the extended warranty this place sells. They look for every excuse to not cover problems. I bought the car in July 2018, the motor is already blown. The extended warranty company is denying the claim, stating the car was not serviced. All service records were provided along with the Carfax provided to me the day we bought the car. The carfax shows the car was not properly maintained before we bought it. And now I'm out a car, 12,999 for a dead car. Enterprise car sales indicated to me that they can buy the car back as is for $700. Are you kidding me? The warranty company can car less. I'm out the car, the $1800 for the toilet paper they car a warranty. Please do yourself a favor, it's cheaper to buy toilet paper in the store then it is to buy it via Enterprise. Be very careful and check the car fax before you buy. I'm getting screwed for the neglect of the rental car company that owned the car prior. The warranty company refuses to talk to the mechanics that serviced the car from the time we bought it. Such a racket and scam.. I'm so heart broken and disappointed in both these companies for not making this right. read more

I came here today in search for a car that I had seen online. When walking in I was greeted with a smile and a handshake and asked if I had an appointment. I said I didn't and the lady said that she would find someone who could help me. About a minute later she returned and said Dave would be out to help me. After a few seconds of thinking her, Dave came out and introduced himself to me and we went back to his office. He asked what I was looking for and I told him the specific cars that I was looking at and he was able to pull them up in his database. He said he was able to get some of the cars to me tomorrow and in my head I recall the cars being out there a lot from their website. To my mistake, I had said a different car than I thought end it wasn't on the lot. He was able to find the cars, but they weren't on the lot because he had mentioned that some of the employees drive home the cars to test them out, make sure they're running safe, and aren't making any noise. After discussing some of the issues and payments and that I would probably be needing cosigners, I made an appointment with Dave to come back on Friday and to hopefully test drive the car that I was looking up. I really appreciate how Dave took the time to help me and to really find out what I was looking for in a car. He was very personable and asked why I was looking for a new car, what I was looking for in a new car, and some personal questions that made it feel very homey and like I was in a comfortable setting. I was recently rear ended and my car was a total loss. I looked at dealership certified pre-owned cars and the only thing i could get comparable to the car i lost was one with no rear view camera and crank windows! I was horrified! After calming down, i started looking at AAA and Costco pre owned auto discounts and found exactly what i was looking for at Enterprise in Vista and called for an appointment the same day. My appointment was fortunately with an enthusiastic young woman named Jules Gillis who not only found the exact make, model, year, mileage I was looking for, but arranged to pick it up and have it for me the same day since I really wanted to return the rental car the insurance company paid for by the girl who hit me. I scooted over to the collision company to pick up my check, to my bank to assure they wouldn't put a hold on it, got my cashiers check, and headed over to pick it up. There was a minor issue that Jules pointed out to me- and pre- arranged for the local Nissan dealer to fix at their expense. I discovered another very minor issue with an accessory that was also resolved easily.
