Now, this location is a little weird. I feel like they took a house, knocked down the walls and filled it with a rental car business. While the office looks to be in disarray - it looks like they just moved in - there's a side area with computers on the floor (!?!) BUT I wasn't here to hang out in the office - I needed a car! The staff was super nice - and took care of my rental within minutes. Filled out the paperwork, and they brought over my car. I paid about $35 for an economic car. It got me to Stone Mountain perfectly fine (and allowed me to cruise down to Buford Drive for a Yelp gathering!) Drop off was just as easy as the pick up. Gave them the keys, they checked it out to make sure no damage - and I was off. They also PICK YOU UP if you are renting a car (within a reasonable distance). It was going to be about 30 minutes and we prefered to just Uber it over to save time. But what nice option! read more

I called Thomas during rush hour on a Friday and received excellent service. Within half a hour I was picked up by Thomas and out of the office within five minutes. I drove the new Ford Focus which was clean and great on gas. ( I wouldn't mind owning one) I was told later that Enterprise does sell their rental vehicles so I will keep that in mind. When I returned the car I needed a ride to pick up my car from the repair shop and was given a ride there by Nick. Both employees were professional and friendly. Not sure if they rude because they can't get fired or what but I had a horrible experience. Horrible experience at Howell Mills location. I had a reservation Thursday April 6th for 6pm. I arrived at the location at 5:53 to pick up the rental and as I was walking into the place the employees told me that they were closing (as they were putting on their coats and etc). I informed them that I had a reservation for 6pm and without confirming it in the system they told me that no reservations are in the system for 6pm. All while still continuing to prepare to close/leave. They then told me to call the 800 number and they will move the reservation over to the airport location. I then went to the car to call the 800 number and watch the employee as they scurried out the office at 6:02pm to their cars to leave. As I was calling the 800 number and informed them of the situation, the phone rep apologized and informed me that the reservation is indeed in the system and he doesn't know why the rental was not honored. A ticket was placed for a regional manager to call me about this situation but I have not received a call yet. He then informed me that they cannot move a reservation to the airport due to the different rates and told me it would be 3x the cost of the original reservation (I believe this was the reason he placed the ticket due to the dishonesty and inconvenience). He offered a free days rental for my next reservation in which I would receive via email in 2-3 weeks. This offer is indeed a slap to my face! and I told him that as well. He then stated that he could notate that it will be apply to this airport reservation but told me that it can only be applied after return. Desperate for a rental and stupidly fateful to Enterprise I agreed to the terms. He placed the reservation and I left to the airport to pickup the car. I made it to the airport Enterprise line by 7pm and was told by Enterprise employees that they are sold out of car rentals and if we made reservations prior to 3pm that they will not be honored. I informed the employee there of my situation and they informed me that there is nothing she could do and try another company or location in the morning. I called the 800 number again and gave them an update of the situation. The rep apologized and Furious I called the 800 number and after the continued apologies from the rep...I requested to place a reservation at the original location (Howell Mills) in the morning. The rep made the reservation and notated requested that the original rate be honored. I arrived at the location in the morning to pick up the vehicle. The lady handling my reservation was one of the 3 at the location the prior day and confirmed it by saying I looked familiar. Once I told her, she said, "Oh yeah." After looking at the reservation and reading the notes, she adjusted the rate to the original and stated she doesn't have a full size but can offer a Jeep Wrangler in its place for the same rate. I agreed. The upgrade doesn't compare to the inconvenience of Ubering back and forth. Reaching out to other for a ride...and not to forget the calls. Sad to have to experience this from a company that I believed in and trusted. read more

WILL NEVER RECOMMEND EVERRRRRR. They don't even deserve one star!!! The manager is HORRIBLE, RUDE, absolutely doesn't care about the customers. I was supposed to pick up a compact/full size rental car..they tried to throw me in a pickup truck with not even a full tank of gas!! They didn't have any cars available but when I called yesterday they said they had a car waiting for me. The manager tells me I have 5 MINS to decide whether I want the pickup truck while I'm on the phone with another enterprise because he has other customers. Another guy that worked there said the manager can be short with people. JUST DISRESPECTFUL. He didn't even try to help me find another enterprise that will accommodate what I asked for. read more

I just had to read all of these positive reviews and make sure those are real people before i write mine. There's just no way we are talking about the same place. 4 stars??? This place deserves to be shut down. Why? I waited ONE HOUR, (thats 60 minutes) for someone to pick me up from my auto body repair shop that was only 3 miles away... I had a reservation. Called the store to let them know I needed immediate pickup since the shop I was at didn't have a waiting area. A very energetic male that answered the call told me he was sending someone and that they should be there shortly. Here I am, waiting for 30 minutes... nothing. I called back just to be sure they knew which shop I was at.. And a new gentleman picked up and said no one from their store was sent to my location. He said I must have called the regional phone line.... He asked me if i remembered who I spoke with.. I told him it was a male who sounded very happy. And he proceeds to tell me no other males are at the store. Which was a horrible excuse on their behalf because once I finally got here there were 5 other males just wandering around with nothing to do. My theory is the first employee forgot to do his job for whatever reason... and they were just trying to save their reputation. Anyway, without a doubt. These employees suck. I was very unsatisfied. Two starts because they picked me up on-time and the staff was overall nice and polite. HOWEVER, once you are there...where do I start? The office itself is an old house, pretty uninviting (odd smell). They are clearly understaff. People were waiting in line, others were waiting for their cars. Very chaotic. There were a total of 3 people in office (including the person that picked me up), again they were all nice, but they needed better presentation, but that's besides the point. They were running around looking for cars. One of them kept calling another location to get more cars, so the ones they had were either dirty or didn't have gas. Therefore, we all had to wait a long time to get our cars ready. My car finally arrived and is all wet and sticky, but I'm happy to get going. Still, as soon as I leave the parking lot the oil light came on. I called them right away to let them know since I will have the car for a while. The only thing they offered was that I do the oil change myself. Seriously? No Enterprise, I don't have time to service your car!! I have called several times to try swap the car, but no one picks up the phone anymore. I guess they don't care for the maintenance of their cars, what should I? read more

Ended up using them in a car repair pinch. Made a reservation online late the night before. Price was really good for last minute and a close location! Arrived at their location around 7:40am to pick up rental. The associates were helpful and fast. They notified me that they were dropping a customer off in the car I was renting and they would be back soon. I waited about 15 minutes for them to come back, but was on my way as soon as they arrived. Lots of employees work there which allows for quick service. Convenient location and great hours! I normally rent from the airport, but after the good service and overall fast service I will use them more often! read more

A young lady named Lexus picked me up and helped me with my rental, she was super friendly and very helpful! Steve helped me when I returned the car and was very helpful and friendly too! I have liked Enterprise for some time as I like that they 'pick you up'! Makes having an alternative for transport in the neighborhood very handy. I rented a car this time around for a 5 hour drive to FL. Everything went well with picking up the car (although I set my time for 10 am - I wish they could have picked me up before then so I could be on the road BY 10 am but...). The car was in good condition - and they were able to accommodate my request for a hatchback. My only surprise was that they were only open until noon on Saturday and not on Sunday so that made the pressure on my return trip a little higher as I had to ensure I got back from my trip before they closed ..... I made it but would prefer some more flexible virtual drop-off options in the future. I do agree, the actual location is a bit run-down and humdrum. They need to make it nicer for their employees as well as customers. I thought Enterprise cared a little more about the entire experience but I guess this location has been overlooked. And could use some more staffing especially for peak drop off times (like 1130 am Saturday). I beat the rush but there were people lining up behind me..... read more

Interesting location, but the staff is professional, friendly and helpful in their service. Worth noting is the fact that the several closest gas stations have fuel costing 15% - 20% more than some stations in route. It would be prudent to check out gasbuddy.com or another site with comparative fuel pricing and brim your tank BEFORE getting within yards of the Enterprise lot. One minor glitch in my experience was that I was allowed to drive off in a vehicle with no license tag. Apparently GA's current temporary tags are flimsy and have a tendency to fall off. I got to meet three different Highway Patrolmen in my travels, all of whom were courteous enough not to issue me a ticket. When returning the car, this Enterprise Mgr. issued a chit for an additional 10% discount for the next time I rented from Enterprise. I felt this was more than fair and exemplified a level of concern for customer satisfaction. I will rent from this location again when circumstances allow. Great team of people! read more

I've been working closing with this location for the last 6 weeks following a car accident. Due to unordinary circumstances with my insurance, I had to pick up and return a rental car on three separate occasions. I booked a car here for two days and returned the car 12 hours early. They billed me for three days and when I called about it they were careless and not apologetic for what they had did. They said they would refund the money within two days, so we will see how that goes. My money was fully refunded within 2 days and besides this inconvenience, I was satisfied with their service. read more

I decided to rent a car for my Executive as it was closer to the office and she needed to drive to NC to visit her parents on an emergency. I will never use this location again. Firstly, they take forever to answer the phone and when they do, it always feel like Customer Service is not their first port of call. I have called several times to request a copy of the receipt; finally I did get a hold of an agent and because I asked her to guide me on the website to retrieve the receipt, she forward me to the customer care call center without telling me she was doing so. Enterprise made my first car rental experience one I will never forget. The only downfall I have is my age. Since I am 21 there is a young age fee which is 15.00 a day. I called to be picked up at 9:20 last Friday 02/10/2012. Tommy was the agent I was dealing with. Tommy was a EXCELLENT agent, very friendly and made my transactions go so smooth. I went for a full size car . A brand new Chevy impala 2012 was on the lot waiting for me. At first I did not think I was going to like it. I end loving it. Very smooth ride to and back from Miami. My vacation was wonderful. I would do it all over again. Also when I return the car everything was perfect they even dropped me back home. read more

I've rented from this location three times in the last three months as I've needed some car repairs and my favorite body shop (Bavarian) is just down the road. It makes getting a rental car convenient, but if not for the location, there's no way I'd rent from this store ever again. A few reasons why: - The location setup is not suited to a car rental agency. It seems like a repurposed house with a small fenced-in lot out back, but there are no clear direction on where to pick up or drop off cars, and your car is "brought out front" by an employee from what seems like a wood shed in the back lot. When I asked how to drop off my car after hours, I was told to just "leave it on the side somewhere". I wonder what the rate of rental car theft is around here? - I've interacted with 3 different staff members in my 3 visits here (one of them is named Adriana - I unfortunately can't recall names of the others), and all have been uniformly rude and totally uninterested in providing good customer service. Attitudes were terrible all-around and my questions were usually dismissed. One of them brought her child to work that day (which is OK I guess, finding child care is difficult, I get it), but spent 75% of my check out time yelling at the child and the other 25% taking her frustration out on me. On another visit, when I refused Enterprise insurance coverage, I was asked what my personal deductible was for rental car claims. I was taken aback because I have never been asked this before, but my questions were simply answered with, "Well I can't let you rent the car without that information". - The "walk around" is a serious step for me, as I've averted more than one attempted damage claim by an insurance company by providing evidence that damage was there when the car was issued to me. Both times I've rented from here, I have had to remind the salesperson to do a walk through, and BOTH times, I have had to point out obvious dents and scratches so that they are accurately marked. - One of our "non-smoking" cars reeked of cigarette smoke. When we questioned the staff about it, the car was taken to the back lot and sprayed with some kind of temporizing air freshener which lasted all of an hour before the stench returned. A better company would've replaced the car with no questions asked. - We returned our cars on a Friday after-hours - something the store employees told me was "something they do all the time" - but had no directions on how to do so and absolutely NOBODY was available for any support. Because there was no parking space on the side of the building, we ended up having to park the cars in spots for an adjacent business and pray that we would not get towed before Monday morning. On Monday, there was no verification that the cars had been received, no final receipt showing the amount I was charged, no call telling me that they keys had been safely recovered. I had to call myself to make sure that I was not being charged for the whole weekend, and even then, the staff member answering the phone did not know the answer. Three months, three rentals, way more than three strikes against this location. No way I will recommend them to anyone. read more

I called corporAte to immediately resolve the misunderstanding and was removed from the list. I called the location back immediately, the location still refused to rent to me because they had knowledge of me being on the list. Garbage. By far the best car rental experience I've ever had was at this Enterprise with Adam and his staff. I'm always concerned about using a rental car when my car is in a body shop due to an accident and an insurance company (not my own) is paying the bill. No reason for concern this time. Worst customer service. I had a reservation booked through The Hartford insurance. I was told by enterprise corporate that I could show up at my local branch and they would get a car for me. When I showed up they did not have a car for me. They told me that I could get a car today if I paid for an upgrade vehicle out of my pocket. Why is that my problem?! Why doesn't enterprise pay for the upgrade?! Enterprise could have done the right thing here but completely failed. I've rented cars from this Enterprise location on several occasions while my car was having work done nearby. The employees are always courteous and friendly. It's never been a problem to extend or modify a reservation, either. My only problem has been figuring out where to park the car when returning it, as the parking area is so small. Couldnt get anyone to answer the phone. Waited on hold for 15 minutes with that awful 30 second ad looping in the background. You can only hear it so many times before you go mad. At which point I just repeat calling them after about 3 minutes on hold each time. 30 minutes of this and they finally picked up their phone and stopped jumping me to the hold loop. Had a reservation made by my insurance company. The had nothing available. And this is not the first time I've experienced this at this location. Said they'd have something the next morning. However, I had already dropped my car off for repairs down the street. Called 9 other locations inside the perimeter. None! of them had anything available. Called their reservations center. They said a location just outside the perimeter had some. Call them... they didn't. When I finally picked up a car the next day it was a nice brand new 2018 Corolla. But as soon as I sad inside it smelled like smoke. Told the agent. She said she was sorry and she would take note of it. No mention of getting me another car. Had to drive all the time with the windows down. I gave them a two star rating instead of none because I fell part of this is a corporate issue and they are just facing the blunt face end of not being properly equipped at their location. When in the office the people were polite and though you could see the stress on their faces they didn't let it effect taking care of me. read more

I needed a car this week, twice actually because mine was being worked on. The great thing about this Enterprise on Howell Mill Rd is that it is close to my home and they come pick you up and take you there if you need them to do so! Also, I was in a hurry and I had been there before so it was so quick and they were really nice, dressed professionally and were very professional. There was a sign hanging in the office that said we were like family, and I'd say better than family. They helped me when I needed it most! The tiny little problem they may have is when they answer the phone and ask what kind of car you'd like, they rarely have, all the cars are picked over, but usually there is something that fits your short term needs. An insurance company was covering a rental car for me,and initially had me set up with HERTZ in Midtown. I was having such a horrible experience that I asked them to set me up at this Enterprise instead. It took me 10 minutes to get from Hertz to Enterprise, and in that 10 minutes they were ready for me right away! It took about two minutes for me to get checked out and out the door with the car.
