They always give me issues that I have never heard of before, like other locations at the airport are always good but this location I always get someone who is rude or doesn't want to help me! Like they get mad when I am picking up or dropping off a vehicle and I don't appreciate it what's so ever after picking up my car this morning, I will not be using this location for business I'll drive across town to see if the other location is any better. BEWARE!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!! I rented a vehicle from this location while I was in town working and was given a Nissan Versa. First of all, this vehicle WAS NOT cleaned before I was given it, due to finding half consumed water bottles under the seat, teeth flossers between the seat and seat belt, two receipts for fast food places prior to my rental date, and a an Apple Watch band that was left by the previous renters. Secondly, the touchscreen randomly shut down and restarted itself multiple times while in route to locations, resulting in missed turns and dropped phone calls. Finally, I'd had enough and emailed La'Davia who originally assisted me and gave me her card, requesting a receipt of cost to-date and different vehicle. This email was sent on the 15th of January 2020.... I received zero response. So late Friday afternoon on the 17th I finally took my break to call and advise of my concerns (regarding the car and lack of response to my email) and Ray (Raymond) advised I could come by the following day before noon and swap it out, no problem. I had to request an early lunch break, just to accommodate their hours and received a Chevy Colorado. Well, since I arrived 5 min before they closed at noon (the earliest so could take my break was 11:45) the walk-a-round with La'Davia was rushed and not very thorough. I arrived back at work and shortly after was released from the assignment to return back home. The Enterprise office was already closed and didn't open again until Monday. So I returned to my RV Park and relished in the fact that I could sleep in, no more was I working 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. Woohoo. Monday comes and I return my rental around noon, to which no one offered a walk-a-round or anything just took the keys and said I was free to go - well they did use the vehicle to give me a ride back to my RV. Well, I received a call later that evening around 5pm advising there was a sizable dent on the driver side rear fender - Interesting because I know I pointed out damage to that side of the vehicle - I advised of the situation, that I rented the vehicle, went to work and was released and sat at home on Sunday and then returned the rental on Monday, less than 48 hours of renting the vehicle and that it went no where and I didn't feel that I created this damage and would like to see what they're claiming. The gentleman advised that most times someone else probably opened their vehicle door into it and that it'd work itself out. Well they reported it to their Damage Recovery center and are requesting I file a claim with my insurance to get the damage to the vehicle covered. I called the rental location in Beaumont to get photos of the damage and the photos take prior to me driving off and possibly the photos of the vehicle when it was returned prior to my renting it, Ray advised they don't keep them that I'd have to call their Damage Recovery unit to obtain,. I called their Damage Recovery unit and spoke with Robert and Cassie who both advised the original Rental location should be able to provide as they only have one photo of the actual damage being claimed. Hmmm.... I'm getting the run around, I'm not getting what I've asked for that would help get an idea of the vehicle BEFORE it was in my hands and am now being pinned with damage to a vehicle I didn't cause. As tightly packed as all the vehicles in this lot are it wouldn't surprise me if the damage occurred on site. TO THIS DAY (Feb 6, 2020) I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGE THEY'RE CLAIMING THAT I MADE AFTER CALLING AND ASKING FOR THEM MULTIPLE TIMES. This Enterprise location failed to take photos at all 4 corners to provide overviews of the whole vehicle which would eliminate the question of where fault lies. Interesting as 90% of the independent locations I've used at home in FL HAVE ALL TAKEN THESE OVERVIEWS. Disgraceful business practices and extremely poor customer service as well as being unable to follow basic protocol just because of a time crunch and you're ready to leave work. The best,nicest, and prettiest car rental people in Texas. I rented a full size car and they were out of full size so they upgraded me for free to the luxury. I ended up needing the car for an extra week an even offered to let them switch it out with a standard full size but they were happy as long as I was happy. I was a member to all of the other car rental clubs but not after this experience. I will only use Enterprise. read more

I had a rental scheduled to pick me up from the Auto Body shop I was dropping my vehicle off. I call this branch to confirm the reservation for 10:00am and was told they have nothing available. They finally agreed to let me pick up from the branch at 4:30... but the gentleman on the phone had a very bad attitude about helping in this situation; then handed me the keys to the worst rental car I have ever been in. Enterprise Rent -A Car in Beaumont is horrible. I have rented cars all over the country, including Enterprise. You check in, sign some paperwork, get your car and you are on your way. But not at Enterprise Rent a Car in Beaumont. I have rented cars 3 or 4 times over the years. The process takes way too long and all of the cars smelled to high heaven. Also, they tried to con my wife into getting the insurance. They presented it like it was not an option. She had to go back the next day to sign a new contract to take off the insurance. Asked about receipt and Enterprise 800# cust svce was filled with morons who kept sending me back to the Beaumont branch whose voicemail was always full or just keeps ringing. They don't even know why receipt is not posted on website and can't email this but have to fax - get the technology, you morons! The Oakland,CA location was not much better. I have rented from them before, I visited the one at Interstate 10 for the first time... never have I felt disrespected 2 times in 2 days by the same employee. (05-17-18) It did not appear that he was rude to anyone except me. He asked who was next, I raised my hand, then he proceeded to ask who was there to turn in a car and proceeded to take 3 customers before me... but I was next to be served. He never said "If it is okay, may I quickly ask who needs to return a car", he did not say "pardon me, I need to quickly check to see if anyone" is turning in a car" Just plain discourtesy. I checked my demeanor and etiquette. He was very nice and hip to my son. Had a brief conversation with him. His approach to me was different... He became short in verse with me because he said that policy would allow me to rent a car due to the fact that my drivers' license did not match my insurance document's address. I told him that my license showed my permanent address and the insurance reflected my temporary address because my home was being rebuilt due to the September 2017 flood. He said that it did not matter. I said that I had just rented a car not long ago because of the flood and I had the same identical situation. He said unless his supervisor approved it, he could not change anything. He added that if I had a Utility bill that I could still rent. I said let me check my phone to see if they sent my bill via phone is that okay he said yes. Then he proceeded to discuss sports trivia with a male customer and never acknowledged me there afterward... I walked away.. after asking him a question that he openly ignored ... My son asked if we could reschedule for the next day... he responded to him by saying sure I can do that... took down the info... made another reservation in 5 seconds. The second day (5-18-19) was not better the same guy interrupted the female clerk as she was in mid-explanation about why she could not rent me a car... again because of my license, and because of my utility bill showing a past due amount on it. I told her yes it does have a past due amount but it has been paid off I do have a confirmation number for that. She said that it did not matter, if the bill shows it, Enterprise policy states that the car cannot be rented. I had no issue with that policy. I asked her to explain why the company rented me a car if I still had the same credentials as I had before. Like I said she began explaining that because a third party paid for the rental that it was different... I told her that, I took over payments for the rental the insurance company only paid for part of the rental $1000 was paid by me. She began her explanation and the guy butted in talking about some nonsense again. I asked her if she could please continue her explanation to me... but she could not... the girl lost her train of thought completely. I told her thanks for her help and left out. I didn't like his rudeness and with other customers in the store he should have been attending to them rather than be rude and distracting because he felt that I didn't need to be explained the policy of the company... I really will not use that store again... This company needs to post the criteria for renting a car on their site as well displaying the criteria inside their stores... no one should be waist there time nor be subjected to personal information openly being discussed at the front desk so that any and all the customers can hear. I sat and listened to every customer's private affair at the open front desk... I didn't understand why there were no private booths anymore. A group of people was discussing a customer's business to the point that the Lady mumbled and used profanity saying... "Stupid...." when she exited the door.
