So, my friend booked a car at 3980 W Lucas drive on October 29, 2024, so she could drive to Houston airport on her way back home to Los Angeles. And we got to Enterprise we met a white lady who proceeded to ruin our day. When I asked her why? She took offence and cancelled our ride. I opted to call Uber to get my friend to the airport. We had a terrible experience with Enterprise! We lost 3 hours of our vacation due to not having transportation and they have not reached out yet to rectify the situation. The car that we rented from the airport in Houston broke down and when we arrived to the nearest enterprise here in Beaumont, we were told that they didn't have any vans and we ended up Having to wait over 3 hours to get a replacement vehicle. When we called the airport location in Houston, the person we were speaking with was extremely rude and ended up hanging up the phone on us. There is no reason why we should have had to go through this level of disrespect and chaos without being treated with any level of adequate customer service! read more

I'd like to give no stars. But it's required I've reserved a car at this location and not once but twice they didn't have the car after I drove 30 minutes to get there to get it. I told the lady I spoke with before I left if she was positive they'd have a car because the time before they let my car go before I got there. She assured me it would be there. Put all my information in and still when I get there , no car. This is bad business and I can say without a doubt I will never give them my business. read more

I have been renting cars from the Beaumont location on Lucas Drive location for a long time. This is definitely my go-to whenever I need to rent a car. Top notch service from start to end. The manager, Greg ensures all your needs are met. He's extremely professional and his customer service skills exceeds your expectations. I can't say enough on how pleased I am with the service. DO NOT RENT from this location. The manager, Ignacio, is a liar. I reserved a Suburban style SUV back in April, for my trip in July. Five days before my trip I went by the location, he and his trainee both assured me that my SUV would be there. When I showed up to get it, they forced me to take a mini van, which was very crowded with 7 people and luggage for a week. I will never use this location again. read more

I and my sister who needed reliable transportation over the week of 12/31/2015 through 1/6/2016 were able to get a great car only hours before closing on New Year's Eve. Car was great and performed flawlessly. The service from the folks at the counter was excellent. About the only downside of this rental was that the car, although it did have Bluetooth phone connectivity would only allow music to be played via a audio cable. I rented a car for our vacation. We were not told drivers license address had to match utility bill. The female would not rent us the car. My husband said one curse word and the manager was very rude to us and threatened to call police.The female pushed our papers back and said "we are not doing business with you. Good luck finding a car on Sunday." This is not professional and no way to treat a customer. I thought the customer was always right. Well not with this company. read more

Rented an SUV , several weeks out, checked on it the week prior and the day prior with assurance ;that we would have an SUV for a weeks rental. Went to pick up and said it would not be available due to a bad tire.,,,,,,,,then the SUV they brought out was in horrible condition with stained and dirty interior. They were going to get tire fixed and call us in the am. Never received a call......never received a car.....Horrible service, and to make it worse, while we were there, several customers did not receive the car they had been promised. If you do not care what kind of car you drive......than maybe you are OK, but if you have any special request.......this is not the company for you!!! This delayed our vacation, while we had to try to find something else and it certainly was not with Enterprise! read more

I recently rented a vehicle from the Enterprise on Lucas while a vehicle was having body work done. I will say that generally this was a good experience. I reserved my car on line, chose my vehicle, and then went in the next morning to get my vehicle. A very nice young man helped me with the rental, they were having computer issues, so it took a little longer than normal to get it completed, about 1/2 hour. I dropped my vehicle to be repaired and they came and picked me up, it was complimentary, which was great. I just wanted the rental only, no additional services as I have insurance with a low enough deductible to make the rental company happy. The charges should have been $50/day for a total of $200. When I dropped it off, a different person checked me back in. She walked around the car in a manner like she was a police officer or a parent inspecting a car after their kid drove it, looking for problems. When we went back in to pay, the charges were $390. I said that was wrong, and she replied back with, "you had full insurance added". I said no, and it took 10 minutes to correct this. At the same time I was dealing with this, another couple came in who had reserved a car on line were told that what they reserved was unavailable, only a minivan was available (by this same woman who was helping me) for $100/day. Enterprise was great as a corporate company, but I think your experience with the Lucas Road branch will be dictated by the employee who waits on you. I think they may use these tactics as a way to generate revenue and if you don't pay attention, you could be over charged. read more

reserved a car online at around 8:30 - 9am for pick up at noon. enterprise site stated cars were available at Lucas location for that time. left work drove across town, picked up my mom, arrived, "I've been trying to call you." no cars until "around 4pm." phone number clearly stated on reservation I printed out, and told "The phone number didn't come through on the computer." have heard and read so many similar stories. quite obvious these people couldn't care less if you rent a car or not, flippant and discourteous. read more

The Enterprise Rent A Car on W. Lucas Street in Beaumont gave me the most horrible experience I have ever had renting a car from anywhere. I have rented cars in the past from Enterprise. Since 2014 I have rented from them at least 2 times. My daughter who is a chef in Austin was involved in a critical when an 18 wheeler came into her lane and hit her, sending her spinning across the freeway into oncoming traffic and slamming into the barrier. She has gotten a little better but were going to pick her up to move her back home. On June 18, 2016, I was due to pick up a vehicle I had previously reserved. The day before, Enterprise called to confirm the rental. When I arrived at Enterprise to pick up the vehicle, I was asked for my drivers license and the card used to reserve the vehicle. I pulled out my bank card and drivers license. Due to military retirement, my license still has my Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri address. On there. I was then told I would need a credit card and a utility bill with the same address that is on my license. I offered my military I.D. and that was refused. I have money in my account why did I have to go through this. He showed me his "policy" attached to the counter. This policy was never mentioned and as previously mentioned, I had rented cars from them in the past and had never known about this policy. This guy told me that this policy was 6 years old, however, I found it strange that since 2014 I have rented vehicles there at least twice. He then tells me about Hertz not requiring the same information and told us to go there. He neglected to tell us that Hertz closed at Noon and since I had reserved my car to be picked up at noon, we arrived to Hertz and they were closed. As a result of this, we were deeply inconvenienced, wasting time and gas. I will never give them my business again and I hope that USAA, which is a bank, insurance company,.....ect severs ties with them if this is the treatment they give to their customers, especially retired military, who has put their lives on the line for them to be able to have their freedoms. I am appalled. Thanks for nothing Enterprise. Never again! read more
