Who knew I'd be seeing Enterprise again so soon? I could not believe they had a vehicle available last minute during spring break week. My vehicle decided to have a malfunction the day before on 280 that resulted in it being sent for repair. That led me to needing a vehicle last minute. I called the call center to book the next morning, confirmed by calling the store that the vehicle was available, arrived for pick up and was given my vehicle. Very quick and efficient process considering this all happened same day. Everyone was nice and working hard. This store stays busy. read more

If I could give less that 1 star I would. I went to pick up my reserved car at the scheduled time. Representative took all of my information including my payment information. Escorted me outside as though he was taking me to my car. When I got outside he told me they did not have cars available and would not have any before they closed. I could see 5 other individuals inside so I asked if they also had reservations, he said yes and they were not getting cars either. The rep did not offer to find a car at another location or any other resolution. His excuse is that this location is "corporate" heavy and they run into this problem often. So if you need a car to be guaranteed do not rent from this location. read more

Enterprise as a company has gotten more and more arrogant they have lost their sense of customer service ever since they purchased more rental companies and became bigger. I have Rent-A-Car from this branch for almost 20 years and the people there are not as responsive and take care of you as the people did years ago.. if I didn't have to rent from enterprise as a company policy, I would never rent from enterprise again. I was told that they would have me a car this morning and not to worry about my reservation woke up this morning and my reservation was canceled through concur so obviously someone didn't do something right to enterprise I showed up at the branch, they said that they could not get me in a car. There were eight mini vans Sitting in the lobby not being used. I was only renting for one day and they told me they cannot put me into a car which is total BS. read more

We have rented a car from Enterprise in Inverness a few times. The last time we had to rent a car was when my car was totaled in an accident. They were quick to get a rental car for us during our interim period of purchasing another car. When I returned my rental, I worked with Reagan. Several of my family members were out of town, and I had no way of returning to my home after returning the rental car. Reagan immediately stepped up and told me that she would be glad to take me home instead of my walking several miles to my house. She has a can-do attitude and was extremely helpful with my dilemma. Employees like Reagan are rare. I commend the staff at the enterprise location in Inverness for excellent customer service. I was blown away. read more

The employees are super nice when you're there, but I was overcharged by one day. Called three different times and they said they would take care of it, but they never did. Email to manager went unanswered. I had an insurance claim paying for a car rental. Insurance paid through Sunday. You can't return a car there on Sunday because they are closed and the note on the door says there is no key dropoff. Went back first thing Monday morning to return the car. The nice person who waited on me said there would not be any additional charges since they were closed. Oh, there was a charge and, even though they say repeatedly they will reverse it, they have not and it's been almost two months. Booked a 15-passenger van a month in advance for my daughter's 14th birthday. Called about an hour and half before it was supposed to be ready to check on it and they said they would have it ready by 11:30 but had to get it from another lot. We showed up at 11:30 and they had no car for us with zero explanations. This almost ruined the birthday party however, Metro Truck Rentals in Pelham saved the day! Not only did they have something available in a short notice, but it was also nicer and cheaper than Enterprise's option. Will only rent vans from Metro in the future. I came in during the great rental car shortage of 2021. I had to delay when I wanted to pick up a vehicle but on the day it was promised, it was there. I was able to take care of the paperwork quickly but it took a while to bring the car up from the back. read more

If I could a zero rating I would. Terrible service today, my fleet company made a reservation for this morning. I get there and after waiting 15 minutes they come out with a mini van. I asked for something else and they stated that's all they had. I asked if they could check other locations and they stated no one had anything else. I had to call the fleet company. While waiting I watched a customer tell them he didn't want a mini van for his wife. They offer him a Mercedes suv for $50 more or a charger. Of course he is white and I'm Black. Made a reservation online again today was told they would have one ready for me at 2:30. I called back a 2nd time to check to be sure and was told yes 2:30 reservation. I checked my miss call logs and voicemail to make sure no one called to tell me otherwise before I got there. I did not receive a call from them. You cant get through direct to there branch location either, I TRIED was on hold for over 8 minutes. I got there I was told they don't have a vehicle for me again. Then they said well all they had was a van and I would have to pay up front for it. I don't want a van especially when I got to pay for it. I told them the insurance said they would cover it. I was told they didn't see that in their computer So here I am stuck again 2 weeks later with no car. What is going on ??? read more

Terrible experience due to lack of customer service , unprofessional and uncaring management of Inverness 280 location. We were scheduled to pick up a large SUV at 5:30 on Friday afternoon for a family vacation. Enterprise called at 5:15 to inform us the vehicle we reserved was not available due to a recall and offered no options. Only when I emphasized our need for a vehicle did they say they could call around and try to find something. When my husband arrived for pickup, a much smaller vehicle was offered. After speaking with the manager, Steph Smith, who showed no concern that he was ruining our trip, I again expressed our need for a larger vehicle like we reserved and they confirmed a couple days earlier. We were then told he had nothing to offer us, not even the smaller vehicle which was offered to my husband upon arrival. (????). I can only assume this was because I voiced my frustration over his unacceptable service. I understand they could not let us have the recalled vehicle, but the attitude of Mr. Smith was apalling. His unwillingness to even try to resolve a problem was unacceptable business practice. Only when my daughter reached out to a friend who is an executive at Enterprise, did Mr. Smith, suddenly find a vehicle for us at the Hoover location. The shop made my eight month pregnant wife weight at the repair shop over an hour past their appointment time, due to not enough staff at the enterprise building. I rent cars all over the country on a regular basis. I typically have great luck at Enterprise. However the last 4 cars at this location have been nothing but headaches. First of all, they have not had the car I reserved a single time. This has caused for minimum of 45 minutes and up to 1:30 wait time just to get the wrong car. Then one of them had ants coming out from everywhere and the one they just gave me still has what appears to be throw up dried up in a pile in the floorboard!!! Ridiculous. A recent rental here proved to be worthwhile. I made my reservation online which made check in quick. We got assigned a nice vehicle, although not the one requested. Drop off was also quick. I returned the vehicle with an empty tank on purpose since the price of gas at Enterprise was far below what we would have paid at a gas station. This is a nice benefit they offer. They provide gas at below retail upon return. Since the price of gas has recently fallen, I cannot say if this is still valid, but probably is. Most important to me when I rent a car is getting the vehicle I requested. Here Enterprise failed, but they did provide me with a very nice alternative vehicle. The next most important is getting in and out quickly. On this Enterprise succeeded. read more

Horrible experience. Accidentally left my sunglasses in the sunglass holder called to inform them and they told me it was out for an oil change and that they would call me back. Never got a call back.call back up there again later that day and they had already rented the car out and then it wasn't their problem anymore. I have rented cars from here multiple times. The people are really friendly and helpful but if you leave something in the car you can forget about getting it back. I recently returned a car at night and left my new sunglasses in the sunglass holder. I called back first thing in the morning and was told that the car was getting its oil changed and they would check when it came back. I know that the car was not rented out and I know for 100% certain that I left them in the sunglass holder. They never called me back so I called them and they told me that they were not in there. Maybe someone changing the oil took them out but I highly doubt that. Cant see why anyone changing the oil would look in there. It bothers me enough to not rent from this place again. read more

I called up there about renting a car. I asked them since I wasn't 25, how'd I go about do it. They told me since I was 20 years old I would have to pay $20 extra a day. About a week later I call to reserve my car and they told me I couldn't because I'm not 22 years old. My car goes in the shop in less than 18 hours. Molly provided excellent customer service that was beyond the norm. They over charged me for my rental. They added additional products to my bill that I clearly signed and opted out of. When I contacted this location by phone and explained the error, they claimed that they needed to contact a "home office" to get a copy of my receipt and it would take a couple hours for them to contact me back. I never heard from anyone so I called again a few days later and explained that I could fax my copy which I did and still no one contacted me or refunded my money. The next day I personally went to the office with my receipt and they finally refunded my card. That was quite an inconvenience and I was not pleased. I don't know what kind of scam the Inverness/280 location is running but I would not recommend them. read more

We have rented a minivan from Enterprise for a beach trip each year for over 15 years with no glitches until this year. HORRIBLE experience. Though we reserved the van a month in advance and I made two follow up calls to ensure the van availability on our pick up date and Enterprise contacted me two days prior to pick up date to ensure we still wanted the van....when we went to pick it up on the assigned date....NO VAN WAS AVAILABLE at any of their locations. One diligent representative (John, not the assistant manager Aaron, by the way) got us a minivan a little after 6 p.m., the locations closing time. Horrible experience, we will look to another rental agency for future trips. read more
