This review is long overdue...I do some traveling for work and have been using this Enterprise location for about 18 months, when I moved to Blue Springs. After my first few months of difficult communications and poor customer service, I had almost decided I'd just use another company. On what I expected to be my last rental, I met the new location manager, Dalya Moore. She impressed me, so I gave the location another try. And another. And then another. When I say this locations' customer service has been completely transformed, it's almost an understatement. I was responsible for customer service teams for over 25 years and I know how challenging it can be. Now every single person I deal with is unfailingly pleasant and professional. Dalya herself is one of the most customer-focused, professional, friendly and organized people one could hope to meet. I make every effort to rent from this location. Any problem, and there are very few, is immediately taken care of. Cars are maintained and clean. I'm billed the correct amount. In short, they are a pleasure to work with. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could, reserved a car for work and I Uber to the location. Was told they were all sold out of rentals even though I had a reservation. Called other locations to book a car and was told they are sold out and can't do same day booking even though I had booked at this other location. What's even more frustrating is when I call to book the cars I was always told they had one then the site would call and say they are sold out. Very frustrating. read more

If I could give them a 0 stars I would. I have rented three cars from them in the last couple of months. I have more complaints than can fit in this review. I will cover four. 1. They lie to customer. I have sat in the office when people reserve cars and they say they don't have any available. Multiple cars are on the lot that never move for days and months. I believe they will not upgrade for free to get you a car. 2. Customer service is terrible. They treat you like you are a cancer and interrupting the fun they are having together. 3. Their cars are dirty. Every interior of the cars I rented have needed to be re-cleaned. This is simply a lack of detail from the employee. 4. I was late on one of my pick ups and the said they could not rent me a car. I had to set a new appointment. Again when I came back for my appointment the cars on the lot were all the same. My review might be fair because I have never made it past the reps on the phone to get a car. In Aug 2019 my car was being repaired and the auto shop called Enterprise and was told they had a car available. I waited 20 min for a pickup and no one showed so called Enterprise and they said they cannot come get me for 5 hours as no cars were available. I then spoke with auto repair manager and he was upset that he was told different. Today I had my car towed to auto repair again and called Enterprise. Rep on the call was super friendly, took my info, assured me there was a car available ASAP since I was trying to get to work. The rep then transferred me to the Blue Springs rep for a pickup and I again received the card not available for 5+ hours. The Blue Springs rep acted like I was bothering them. I will NOT call them again. read more

This company isn't worth the trouble. The car was fine, but if you return the vehicle to another enterprise location you get the privilege of paying $50 to do so. We rented from the Independence location because Blue Springs didn't have any cars, we wanted to return the vehicle at the airport but was told of the fee. Just ridiculous. When we arrived to pick up our RESERVED CAR, we were informed that there was no cars available as our car was rented to someone else. As I sat with my husband in his fathers car, a rental car was returned. My husband went back in and was told that there were 4 people with reservations ahead of us whose cars had also been rented to other people. The staff was indifferent and unprofessional. I have used this service before through certified transmission when my car was being fixed. Everything went really smooth both times. So, I chose to use them again since my vehicle was in an accident. This was not smooth, not customer friendly and Megan could not have been more unfriendly. I booked the rental through the app at 8AM. I scheduled to car pick up at 9AM. When I got there at 8:40 I was told that the vehicle wasn't there. She said she was just getting ready to call me. Call me when? At 9? I was told that since I only booked an hour ago and it was done online that the app has no way of knowing their inventory. Then why would they have an app to do bookings? That makes no sense to me. The fee that was quoted to me online was no where near the fee that I was charged. There is a $150 deposit that is not included in the price quote. That fee is hidden many pages down in the confirmed email in very fine print. Why? Why would that not be a part of the quote if it is standard on all rentals? read more

Full size truck was reserved over a month in advance, when we went to pick it up we where told that they didn't have one available, even though I was looking at one on the lot. The person helping us, acted like we where a total inconvenience, and was extremely rude the entire time, later found out she was the store manager. I jumped on the ap and it said it was available. When I questioned the store about it, they told me that I can reserve what I want, but that's not how reservations work and that they could choose to honor it or not. Called corp and they refused to answer the phone, I'm sure because they would have been told to honor the reservation. I asked for the district or regional manager and was told that it was 4:40pm and that he ends his day at 5, so there is no way he would answer that late. read more

I had a terrible experienced which actually shocked me because Enterprise has always been good to me in the past. I was given a car but then asked to change vehicles due to the customer after me wanting a smaller vehicle. I didn't mind and was told by the worker that all my car seats would be moved to the new vehicle by him. Two car seats were in the back seat and one in the trunk. Long story short the worker left one carseat in the car that they gave to the other customer and he drove away with it. When I finally received the carseat back 4 hours later I received NO apology from Enterprise for the mess up. They are very unprofessional and sloppy! read more

I rented a car for a week. Booking was easy online. I compared enterprise to many other companies for an economy car, and they had a great deal. I ended up getting a Ford Focus and really liked the car. The biggest problem I had was that on my way home from vacation, the trunk kept coming open while I was driving on the highway. Obviously that poses a danger to myself since I had to over on the highway and get out to shut it multiple times. I did complian about the situation when I returned the car and they took ten dollars off my bill-- not a lot, but a nice gesture. Overall the staff where friendly and accommodating, so I would go back there to rent a car. read more

Two rentals from this location and both excellent experiences. The second time, on my last day, a tire blew out. I didn't take their insurance, but I called them the following day and not only did they take responsibility for the tire, they took that day off my bill for the hassle of dealing with the situation. We were running late and it was close to closing, but these folks came and picked us up at our campground in a pouring rainstorm. They stayed after 6pm to get us set up with our car (great newer Chevy). We were EXTREMELY satisfied with service and the car. I would highly recommend! Everything was easy and enjoyable in our rental experience so give them a try. read more

ABSOLUTE WORST RENTAL CAR EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! I rented over 100 rental cars throughout the lower 48. (many from Enterprise) I made a reservation 3 days prior (with a girl named Allie) I asked her at the time if they needed a credit card to hold the car and she said "no, you're good...just a name and phone number" When I arrived, they claimed they were out of cars and tried to switch me into an SUV and charge me double the $$. They were rude and shrugged their shoulders when I complained. I called Enterprise's 800# and they weren't much more help. Their offer was to give me the number to another office. After calling and asking for a phone number to a regional manager, a vehicle "just pulled in". (of course, that vehicle had no gas in it nor did they bother to clean it) VERY unprofessional! I would recommend AVOIDING this office and if you must use them...have a backup plan! read more

We rented an SUV for three days a couple of weeks ago. Alex was very helpful and it was a quick and easy process upon pick up and return.

Friendly, courteous staff. Every occasion I've had to deal w/ Enterprise, Blue Springs, I've not been disappointed. Some constructive advice, however. Corporate is not doing the brand image any favors by imposing such formal attire on its staff. Walmart suits and cheap shoes are counter productive to Enterprise's presumed goal. Let these kids breathe. Style 'em up ~ put them in some Docker's, Polo Shirts and business casual loafers. We're in the 21st Century... read more

I got Enterprise in Blue Springs Mo through insurance. They did drop off the car at the repair shop. Some lady handed the secretary papers and a key and flitted out the door. No explanation or even a good morning. I was standing there getting my car turned in for repair. The secretary at the repair shop was great. She looked at the papers and said it looks like you have a Ford Focus and everything was good to go. She handed me the paperwork and the key. I went out to the lot and finally found the car. It was dirty outside and stained inside. No one walked me around the car to check it or to help me figure out the mechanics of driving it. It was hard to get into park and twice I thought I had it in park but it was in reverse. Glad nothing was behind me!! Also, it only had 1/4 tank of gas, which is how I returned it. I was not impressed with the service of Enterprise or the quality of the vehicle. Not sure if I would want to rent from them again. read more

Terrible treatment. Rude and unfriendly. And that's just for starters. I do not consider them to be trustworthy. I called to give them a heads-up that I'd need a ride from there to the repair shop because my car was ready (as agreed when I rented the car from them). I was told they were busy and to leave the car and keys at the repair shop. I'm mad at myself for being naive, but I thought I could trust them. Wrong! They did not get their car til the next day. I got a call that the windshield had an 18 inch crack (not there when I left it) and that I was responsible til it was checked in. I only left it at THEIR instructions. Who knows if it even actually had a crack? And if there was even a tiny chip, the temperature dropped nearly 40 degrees overnight. Then I heard from someone else that this is a strategy used by this company; that they have treated others this way also. read more

I have rented from this Enterprise several times - agree with courteous staff and good pricing from local store location. Here are areas that could be improved: 1) Gas should be full at pick-up. Typically the gas tank is not full when I have rented here and although they have noted this on paperwork - it is a bit of a pain as one tank will typically cover an entire weekend trip for me. So, instead of filling up once at end, I have had to fill up once within a day and stop again to try to get it to right level at airport in another day or so. Once I ran out of gas the 2nd day of rental as I did not realize how little was in the tank, nor was I familiar with the warning light signal. Luckily I had a relative that could help us out and rescue me and my elderly mom when we were stranded and had to pull over at side of highway! 2) Pick Up Service. First time earlier this year was not good, as I followed instructions to call 15 minutes before I needed pick up (I was very near-by). I waited 45+ minutes and when the guy finally arrived, he parked a ways back from hotel entrance and did not see me waiting just inside door (as it was windy/cold outside). That created additional wait at hotel until I walked out and approached the car to ask if he was from Enterprise (and he was not in typical attire as he was wearing a stocking cap, etc., so I was uncertain about doing that). Although I had suitcase, laptop, purse, etc., he offered no assistance to help me load or unload car. The second time I leveraged this service the wait was more acceptable, the guy who picked me up helped me throughout the process (including putting my suitcase into car) and he speeded me along the way. Maybe the first guy no longer works there? 3) Damaged car provided. The last time I rented here, I got an older car, which I had no problem with. Although we inspected car prior to my rental, when I returned it to airport, a piece of trim that had obviously been glued before had come loose (big circles of glue were visible, so definitely not a factory job). Unfortunately, it was on passenger side so I did not notice prior to return at airport. The report they filled out there noted that I did not hit anything and that it looked like the trim had been glued down before. I thought that would be the end of it as I obviously did not cause the damage, but now I have received a bill for $700. The pictures with the repair bill provided were from a different view so they do not show the big circles of glue from the previous fix that were apparent when I dropped it off. Not sure how I will resolve yet, but I definitely do not plan to pay for damage that I did not cause (likely came loose as it was raining when I picked car up and we had an unbearably hot and humid weekend, so sloppy repair job from previous renter or the rental car center did not last). I know it is not the local rental site that I am dealing with now, however, I have not been able to get information requested in a timely manner to resolve and have not received any response at all to my claim that I did not cause the damage. I did try calling local store for help, but Manager did not return my call. Now I have stress and a project that I did not expect to get this resolved. I am now changing plans to rent elsewhere for my upcoming trip. The hassle from #3 is the final straw for me. It is not worth the money I thought I was saving to rent here. read more

I have used Enterprise quite a lot this summer. I am usually happy with the rental, however this last time I was a little disappointed. First of all there were bird dropping all over the back, I had to request that they wash the car before I took it. That was no problem and they took care of it immediately. The front seats inside were stained really bad, but no other car was available. I requested an intermediate car and I felt like they gave us a compact, but when I questioned them, they said it was the correct car. It was a Hyundai Accent. It just seemed really small. I didn't realize until we were headed down the highway, that there was no cruise control. Driving for 8 hr with no cruise control was a pain. Next time I will remember to look before I except the car. That's what I get for assuming they all came with cruise control The associates were very friendly and professional. When we dropped the car off I needed a way home and someone was there immediately to take us home. I will not let this time interfere with renting again from Enterprise. I am usually very satisfied. read more

absolutely pathetic. we dealt with someone there named christina. she was rude to my sister with her rental car talking to her like she was a 5 year old, to my wife with our rental and my father in law as well with that and rude to me. this woman has NO business being in the service industry dealing with the public at all. she was rude, arrogant, self important, condesending ... HAD to be right in every conversation. also changed the rental price on us about 3 times even though we had it all figured out a month earlier with another emnployee there (who was a really good guy by the way... sorry i forgot his name.) apparently she felt the need to be "RIGHT" in every sentance we all had. the funniest part of dealing with her though was the day we returned our car and she actually had the nerve to ask us how the customer service was... i literally bit my tongue to just get out of there and get on with our lives... no point in wasting anymore more of my time being talked AT by her. everyone else i've ever dealt with at enterprise has always been helpful and courteous and professional. i've always used enterprise but quite frankly as long as they keep HER employed with them... me, my family and my friends will not be giving them any more of our money. i'm pretty sure that herts or avis will be polite and professional with us. read more

I wish I could give these guys negative stars. My daughter had a rental set up with this location through the insurance company of a driver who had hit her car. This was her very first experience renting a car. Enterprise brought the rental to the repair shop, where the agreement was presented to her in record time, with the understanding that all charges were being picked up by the other driver's insurance. When she asked questions about the $10.99/day additional coverage - which she did not need - the employee told her he always chose it and it would only be charged in the event that something happened to the car, and that her only other option was for her to pay $1000 if anything happened to the car. No mention at all of simply declining the additional coverage. She was charged for 7 days of coverage, and phone calls and personal visits to this Enterprise location were met by a rude and evasive Manager on Duty. She was repeatedly told she just didn't want to pay, but the real issue was that the Manager was trying to bully her into something that had not been properly explained to her. When pressed, we were given the phone number for the District Manager, who was not in, but was to have been given a message to return our call by the associate at the District Manager's location. Of course, no phone calls were ever received, even though the nature of the call was not discussed. We will never rent from Enterprise again, and will tell everyone to avoid them. read more

i have an enterprise account and rent from them fairly often. i typically use the blue springs store bc it's close to home. the staff is always very friendly, professional and courteous. the whole team makes the rental process fairly speedy and are good about answering any questions about the rental process. with the exception of a rental or two, the cars i drove were clean and well maintained. enterprise offers an extremely nice fleet of vehicles to rent. any time I've expressed any concerns with a rental they're quick to address the issue and always put their best foot forward. good job team enterprise..!! another plus is the launch and recent updates to their enterprise rental app. what a fabulous tool to make the entire rent process more convenient. you can make all your reservation needs right from your phone and they have your car waiting when you get there. the app is very user friendly and has fabulous features including direct info about the current car you're driving and reminders and other info about when your reservation times will end and where/how to return your rental to the store. it all ties together to make renting a car from enterprise seamless. read more
