Enterprise made me stay overnight to pick up a car at their off site (not the air port) because they ran out of vehicle. I get there and they would not process my payment because they said it was a debit card when it was not it was out Business Credit/debit we have used for enterprise multiple times in the past. They immediately gave the vehicle to another customer without a reservation who was complaining about not having a vehicle making me stranded here. Called customer service to resolve me being stranded here because of the mistake of the store front manger and all I got was a foreign call center not willing or able to resolve the issue. Do Not rent from Enterprise. Oh and the manager called the cops because I raised my voice at him about giving the car away. Ok children. Cops left immediately. read more

They were attentive and committed to providing excellent service from beginning to end (car return). They were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Late Friday afternoon, and the waiting area was beyond capacity. They were clearly shorthanded; each representative moved non-stop. Even under pressure, EVERYONE was professional and SMILING. They worked together and managed to move quickly without rushing the customer. Amazing customer service! The exceptional customer service extended to the '800' number. I needed a question answered after hours; the representative was very helpful. This was my first time renting from Enterprise. I recommend and I will visit this location again. read more

The only reason I get cars from here is because I have no choice due to my insurance company. If I had the choice they would never get business from me. This location is a joke. Monday 10/22 I had reservation taken by an employee who contacted me then said they had no cars but will next day . Tuesday no cars . Wednesday still No car then Mallory called me said they for a vehicle in. They picked me up and brought me to the location just to be told I have to pay $79 in taxes in addition to the security deposit of $50 which I knew about the $50. J called Enterprise 1-800 to inquire as to why I am not getting the vehicle I reserved. They modified the reservation to 3 days from 7 while I stood in front if Mallory. She refused to honor the reservation of three days telling me I'm required to rent minimum 7 days and pay taxes. I asked her to print me out the paperwork showing explanation of charges. She refused. Then I walked outside to talk to the reservation 1-800 number to once again have the information updated for this location . She walked out and told me to get the F on. As in leave and she drove off for her lunch hour . Mind you I was picked up and driven 4 miles from my home two hours earlier. I went in and requested a ride from the other agent . He told me no and not only that I can't rent the vehicle they tried to give me just minutes earlier because of a safety recall on seatbelt. He refused to setup s ride home for me snd told me to walk. I walked 4 Miles home on a major highway with no sidewalks or median to safely walk On. That was 10/23/24. Today I have yet to receive a vehicle but I'm going with Hertz. Enterprise is now the last place I'll ever do business with but this location staff needs to be accountable for lying , attempting to cheat someone by charging for fees and disguise them as taxes , then tell a customer they picked up to walk home with such ease and arrogance. It's beyond pathetic. I am not done here. This is just the first review place. People need to know that if they ask for more than what you are required by insurance to pay to have it in writing . But the least they could have done was to see I was returned to where they picked me up. Being hit by a car or dropping from an asthma attack were my two main concerns. read more

Rented a car for 9 am pick up from this location. The employees arrived late. The employee Mallory was taking personal calls on her cell phone while helping customers. When it was my turn to get helped they checked all my information then when it was time for me to be taken to a car they informed me they had no compact vehicles available despite the online booking saying there was. The employee informed me that I would have to wait until someone else dropped off a car in order to get the car I reserved. They stated they would call me when a car had been returned. I had not received a call by 10:38 and this was on a Saturday so they closed at 12. So I attempted to call the location several times and nobody picked up. Then I called customer service and they stated that a district manager would be notified at which point the manager would assist me in trying to locate a new rental from another location. I still had not received a call at 11:05 so I attempted to call the location again for an update. This call went through Mallory answered the phone, then hung up on me when I requested help. I attempted to call the location again thinking it may have been an accident but then continually got sent to voicemail. I gave up and reserved another car at another location by myself that was more expensive. I called customer service again and they stated a district manager would call me to discuss the problem. They have still not called. I made the second reservation at the Shreveport Barksdale location. The man working there was very helpful and patient. There was at least two other people at that location when I was there that were trying to fix something that the east Texas location had messed up. Why would you rent a car out that you don't have and then not assist a customer to try to fix the mistake? I'm very confused as to how they even have 1.9 stars. read more

Worst customer service and lack of care I have ever experienced. Incompetent is a start but not even close to the word needed to describe this clown show of an operation. The manager at this branch is totally out to lunch and need of replacement, stat. Enterprise headquarters needs to replace him or close this location for good as it is tarnishing the reputation of a normally competent rental car company. I tried multiple times to speak to someone on the phone and after waiting 45 minutes on hold gave up. I'm embarrassed I waited that long but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt before slaying them on Yelp...too late. Take your business elsewhere. My experience is below: My insurance company made a reservation for a compact car while my vehicle is scheduled for repair. When I arrived at the location to pick up my rental I was told one was not available, however, if I wanted to pay an additional $30 out of pocket they would upgrade me into a larger vehicle. I said no thank you and asked how they were going to fulfill my reservation and get me into a car. They responded with 2-options: 1) pay the extra money and get a car immediately or 2) come back that evening and get a compact, after it is returned by another customer. I told them my job would not allow me the opportunity to come back and his response was, "too bad." I asked for other options, which included them coming to pick me up like they advertise, and he had none. To say I am disappointed in Enterprise would be an understatement. read more

I usually get very professional service from this location, however, whoever was calling to confirm reservations yesterday (7-30-15) between 430 and 5 pm had a terrible attitude problem. This is not my first time renting and when I said I had already email a copy of my most recent phone bill into the office manager the snarky employee asked who did I email it to, myself? Idk if this unprofessional woman was trying to be funny or what but it came across extremely rude. This will be the last time I rent from this location. read more

This was possibly the worst experience I have ever had trying to rent a car. First nobody was available from two different locations to come and get me to rent a car which caused me to put off getting my car fixed until I could get another person to drive me to the rental agency. I was trying to make sure I had a reservation for a vehicle and was hung up on three times from the office on Benton Rd. I finally got a car and picked it up and was satisfied with the actual vehicle. We took excellent care of the car. didn't tote anything around in it other than driving to and from work and college. Then it came time to take the car back and that is when things once again went wrong. I dropped the car off at the E. Texas street location and all was going well until he came back and said the car was covered with cat hair. I very well knew that wasn't true so I said show me. There was no cat hair anywhere in the car. the only thing was the passenger side mat had a few crushed leaves which was nothing that vacuum couldn't take care of. The manager insisted I had cats in the stupid car which I did not and he was very rude. I was upset because I never saw any cat hair anywhere in the car and if I did I would have gladly paid to have it cleaned because that is just who I am but there was no type of animal whatsoever in the car. Finally, he said well I'm not charging you for the professional cleaning of 175 I'll just keep your deposit. The only reason he kept my deposit and didn't charge me 175 was because I paid the deposit down with a money order not on my credit card. I would have NEVER paid his stupid $175 because of his attitude and insistence that there was cat hair all over the car which was ridiculous. because I know there was no such thing. I will NEVER use Enterprise car rental again because of these two locations were not nice nor did they live up to the promise of "we will pick you up" which made it very difficult for me to get a car. Yes I was angry over the cat hair thing but for me it wasn't even about the 50 dollars. it was how he kept telling me that I had carried cats in the car which was utter nonsense. so Enterprise needs to do something about the management and customer service that they claim to be the best in for these two locations. My experience was just absolutely ridiculous and next time I'll just go to Hertz. I've never had a bad experience with them so Enterprise can just go down the drain for all I care. The customer service at the location was terrible. The employee was not knowledgeable about Enterprise policies, GARs insurance or the benefits of being a Enterprise Plus member. After 1.5 hours , I was unable to renew my government rental at this location. I went to the Enterprise Location on Benton Rd. and my contract was renewed in an professional and timely manner. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Other federal employees also complained about the lack of knowledge of the staff at this location. read more

This is the worst Enterprise I've ever been to. The manager of the store itself clapped his hands in my wife's face and said I've got a family too! 10 minutes to closing letting us know we need to hurry up we had to switch vehicles and the second vehicle was just cleaned and perfumed we got in the car the next morning sitting in the garage the smell that emitted made me throw up. We called and said we needed a different vehicle not did they try to find one somewhere else or say let me see if I can do something it was we don't have anything you're going to have to wait till Monday and this was Saturday morning the worst rental agency I've ever went through by far was better than this Enterprise read more

This is the best rental location I have ever used. I used Hertz for years with my previous employer and when I switched employers I got a fleet car from enterprise. Damian and Chase are consummate professionals and always get me the car I need. I travel every week and they always make sure I am happy with my rental and satisfied with them as well. I think they like it because I keep my cars spotless and turn them in clean and full of gas. I have used other Enterprise locations and found the service nothing like Bossier and it is five minutes from my house. I even keep the oil changed and take them the invoices. IT is a great partnership and I am glad that I use this location. read more

My father rented a car for two weeks then extended it for another week. When he was given the car the gas tank was on empty with 18 miles until dry. Since my father is 78 years old and unfamiliar with the area I drove the car off the lot to get fuel at a gas station for him. When he returned the car I went in to the counter while he stayed my truck. When I was checking in the vehicle the ladies behind the counter decided to tack $10/day extra for me as an additional driver (which I was NOT!) All I was doing was helping my father. When I tried to explain my situation I was told I would be contacted by the manager and that she would place it in a pending situation. After three days I never heard from Enterprise but they billed my credit card for the whole amount including the additional driver. When I called the location on Texas Dr. in Shreveport, LA I asked why no one ever called me back and explained to her my situation as well. Her response was that if I didn't want the car on empty I should have asked for gas. Since when is it the customer's responsibility to ask for fuel and not have the business offer? I was a gold member with Enterprise and have slipped to Silver. There's no chance I'll ever go back to another Enterprise after this ordeal. read more
