I have had 3 different rentals from this enterprise. it has been a hassle and or nightmare everyone. reservations for a car mean nothing. you will be waiting for a vehicle everytime. also do not come here with an insurance voucher, they will not put you in anything less than the maximum daily rate of what your insurance pays for, they will lie and make excuses as to why you can't have a different vehicle. also god forbid your rental break down (yes I've had that happen as well) they will be of no assistance in getting you a replacement even though you've paid for X amount of days to have a rental, only thing I can say that positive is one of the employs did give me a partial refund due to my hassles. enterprise in general is the armpit of rental companies. do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. 3 rentals and 3 garbage experiences, I won't be back.. read more

They were attentive and committed to providing excellent service from beginning to end (car return). They were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Late Friday afternoon, and the waiting area was beyond capacity. They were clearly shorthanded; each representative moved non-stop. Even under pressure, EVERYONE was professional and SMILING. They worked together and managed to move quickly without rushing the customer. Amazing customer service! The exceptional customer service extended to the '800' number. Only 2 choices available on a reservation for an economy car(suburban and full size van), customer service was absolutely terrible and representatives are under trained and slightly rude. I had to ask to be taken care of because instead of asking who was next, as we'd just seen him do, the representative skipped us completely and started helping his friend that he knew and was joking around with. Completely inappropriate behavior for any customer service based position. However, after interjecting we were quickly assisted and glad to return the awful full size van we were given(which also had rusty brake rotors, a scratched roof and ripped interior). Reservation was for an undetermined amount of time and fully paid for through insurance, which is an easy way to make money, but I returned the vehicle after only 2.5 days of use and will likely not rent from that location again, possibly not even enterprise as a whole read more

Terrible customer service. rude non responsive guy at the front desk. we will never use them again. their promises and reservations for a rental mean absolutely nothing and they will leave you with a vehicle without hesitation even after booking a month in advance. Benton road location in bossier city, La has lost 2K on our premium suv rental that they failed to maintain for us to rent. a simple oil change or window repair would have gotten us on the way. I cannot speak highly enough about the service I received from the staff at this location. Shout out to Dalton, D'Andrea & Phillip. I was suddenly without a car when my 2016 Ford Explorer caught fire due to a faulty transmission. I was shook to say the least. My insurance company deals exclusively with Enterprise. Someone from the location contacted me shortly after the tow truck had my broken vehicle delivered to Ford (conveniently located just down the street). They informed me that they didn't have a comparable vehicle at the moment, but would in a few hours. They contacted me shortly after and upgraded me to a top of the line 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. It was immaculate and smelled wonderful. I took very good care of it for 68 days. When the oil light came on I called to see if they had a contract in town. I was able to get the proper maintenance without trouble, at no cost to me. There were several charges taken from my personal account because insurance failed to approve a rental extension in a timely manner. That money was promptly refunded once they received approval needed. I received my $50 deposit 4 days after the return of the vehicle. I suggest pay raises for all three of these young men. In a time where it seems no one wants to work, and customer service is lacking at most business. These guys went above and beyond during an incredibly stressful time in my life. This location definitely deserves more than 1.5 stars. read more

Worst experience renting a car. They won't answer the phone. If you go by you have to wait in line. They only have one person at the desk. And 2 people bringing cars to the front. The car I am renting from enterprise broke down they have a line of over twenty people out front. I'm renting because I was involved in a car accident. I have a sever back injury. I asked the lady since I already have a car what they can do, she said that they entire line is in front of me and she will not help me. She was pointing at the crowd and trying to get them involved? I told her I have a sever injury and cannot wait the hour and a half like I did last time. She said she wasn't going to help me. This is the worst car rental place and They absolutely do not care about the people they are serving. I'm literally sitting on the ground because their car blew a tire. They also want you to pay $55 and wait almost two hours for their services to repair it. With a severe back injury I have to sit out here and wait. Edit: they don't even fix tires here. The woman could have just let me know that instead of yelling and trying to embarrass me in front of the other people here. They made me wait in line instead of just letting me know that I could get the tire fixed at firestone. Some common decency is needed here. read more

If i could this place no stars i would!!! Very unorganized place. I had a reservation for a vehicle to be picked up at 3 pm, got to enterprise at my reservation only to be told they dont have any cars and to come back in 2 hours. I opted to stay and wait on a return. While i was there several people came in for reservations only to be told the same exact thing that i did. After a hour and half wait i was able to finally get a vehicle. I had my rental for 21 days and had to make a extension 3 times until the insurance company totaled my car. Everytime i made a extension I went to the office and swiped my card so that the payment was taken right then and my statements would reflect that. When i took the car back after 21 days i was told i owed a balance of 420.00. I told the worker that i have no balance because i paid before a extension everytime and even showed my account where it reflected that i paid 420.00 in extensions to enterprise. He advised that someone "NEW" reversed the payments so i owed the balance. I proceeded to show him that i have recieved any reversed payments for enterprise. He told me he would talk to a supervisor and that i was good to go. Two Months later i get a statement saying i owe enterprise 420 $. No one can explain why i havent received my money back in there was a reversal and my account is still reflecting payments. This place is horrible and i would NEVER rent from them again!!!! Made a reservation online to pickup car when we arrived all they had is a car with broken key. They said their staff was out picking up cars and would be back soon. We went and got coffee and came back 30 minutes later still no car. Staff called and said cars had expired plates. After an hour we had to go to different location to pickup a car on East Texas Street. Finally got on the road late causing us to get to our hotel very late and had our room No Showed. We also never checked but found out the car they gave us had expired license plates they had been out for over 2 months. Called their national customer service to let them know just got excuses how maybe last customers had kept car to long. That's when I told her it was over 2 months and car was serviced after plate were expired. Staff at both places were friendly and helpful. But there's no excuse for not having car when you now you have a reservation cars should have been picked up the day before. read more

The customer service at this Enterprise has definitely changed. I rent from this business all the time and lately due to Covid, had to rent from the Benton Rd location in Bossier City. The new staff made me aware that they were new and that the old staff did not know what they were doing. Well the new staff refused to advised me that they did not have the drop box anymore. My rental was due back at 5 pm but due to me traveling out of town for work I made it back later then anticipated. When I arrived to the location around 6 pm or so , it was dark and cold and there was also a elderly couple there returning their vehicle. The couple made me aware that they were not advised that there was not a drop box and lived an hour or so away, they had been on the phone trying to contact someone about returning the key but had no luck! So I returned my vehicle but kept my key because I didn't want to be responsible if someone stole the vehicle! Well the next morning an employee contacted me very rudely stating why did I leave the vehicle parked in front of the location! I explained to him there was no drop box, he then stated there had not been one for months and that my rental was due back by 5 pm anyway! I will never ever rent from this location again! The customer service here has definitely changed and I rather the old staff who didn't know what they were doing , then the new rude staff any day !! To describe in words how long they make you sit and wait, with no updates on progress is outrageous. This is quite possibly the most mismanaged Enterprise of them all. You can put in a request for a vehicle days, even weeks ahead.. it means nothing to them. If you are looking to get a rental car from somewhere DO NOT COME HERE, go to anywhere else. This is actually a ZERO star rating but it wouldn't let me post unless a Star was chosen...I will never recommend Enterprise on Benton Road to anyone. I rented a car from them for several weeks due to my car being in shop because someone ran a stop sign and hit me. Upon returning the car the manager said it was damaged. I never did anything to damage the car. In fact "the damage" they claimed done was clearly 2 screw holes where a front license plate had been removed. No one at that office would even listen to reason. Do not trust them whatsoever. When I rented the car I was told to sit in car while he did a walk around. In hindsight I should have taken pics before driving off. However, unfortunately I trusted in the fact that he was making an accurate assessment of the car. Never again will I do that and never again will I rent from Enterprise, Alamo or National. read more

I had a wonderful experience here. I unexpectedly needed a car early on a Saturday morning to drive from Bossier City to the Dallas airport. I made a booking online because the location wasn't open yet and I wanted to be sure I reserved a car. A few minutes later (before the stores operating hours), I received a very polite phone call from Chase stating that this location was out of cars due to Hurricane Harvey. He was very apologetic and assured me if he was able to get any cars, he would call me. Having dealt with enterprise before, I know that the reservations online are not always accurate to what is available at the locations. I started calling other rental car places. Though the quotes I was getting were 50% higher than the one enterprise gave me, I had no choice and was booking with another company when Chase called back saying he found a car for me! They let me come get the car a couple of minutes later and it was hassle free and much more affordable than the other company I almost booked with. read more

Office was extremely busy when I went to pick up car (5:00 p.m.). All of the employees were prompt and courteous and made sure everyone was well taken care of. I have rented from this location several times and recommend them all the time. Had no problem with the rental vehicle and was able to just drop it and the keys off before they opened up. The rental actually started out pretty good but went downhill fast. I had a reservation at the Airport but called the local office to see if they would honor it. They did better than that by giving me a lower price. So i went to the office, had to wait about 20 minutes and then got a brand new (2016) Chevy Impala). Looked good until I pulled away. As I pulled into traffic in a 55 mph zone, the car suddenly popped out of gear and then went back in. This happened one more time before I decided I better pull over. I pulled into a strip mall tried to back up to return to the office but the car would not go into reverse. I called the office and I'm sure they didn't believe me thinking that this old guy doesn't know how to put the car in gear. The rep came and of course he couldn't do it either. he took me back to the office and didn't have another car that I wanted so they took me to the airport location. I had reserved a premium car but they gave me a Hyundai Sante Fe. Maybe rental car companies call this a premium car but I don't. Anyway the price was right so I took it as we were in a hurry to get going to Tennessee for a funeral. We stopped in the Memphis area for the night but not before the tire pressure monitor light came on. I waited until morning, took the car to an Enterprise office down the street to get the pressure checked but believe it or not - they did not have a tire pressure gauge. How can you guarantee that the cars are safe without checking air pressure before you give it to someone. Anyway I stopped at a Firestone store and they checked it and filled the tire. No more problems but it sure was a real hassle. Think twice before using Enterprise. read more
