No car when we arrived at the appointed time. However they called us about 30 min later that a car was there and ready. Same model but didn't realize there was no AWD until we got stuck in the snow. Thankfully we had the foresight to bring a portable shovel and spent an hour but dug out. Explained the situation to the Branch Manager at 2 Bloor St E who was excellent to work with and gave us a discount. Will be really attentive next time to make sure we have the car we want!

The car was in pretty okay shape - some sounds coming at a certain speed but never broke down in the middle of the road. Heated seats were great in winters. With staff, there are a few issues. The person, who handed over the car, didn't do a proper paperwork. There were a few things missing for which we had to go to their office and get it all sorted out. The lady sitting at the desk isn't on her best behavior ever but she does her job pretty good. So, don't expect any goodies - but personally, I prefer to deal with people who do their jobs well and may behave rudely instead of someone behaving nice and screwing up the work. Also, I had asked them to let me know if an SUV is available then I would like to switch over to that. However, I never received any call - I can't imagine any SUV didn't free up in a three week period. I would still prefer Budget or Enterprise considering the overall experience.

The first time the car wouldn't start they sent someone fairly promptly who identified that the brake was on. If you don't know the software of a 2025 car you might not know that. Once home the car got stuck parking and won't move and won't start and they're closed because it's Saturday (errand day!). If you rent a car from them and don't drive a fully automated car get complete instructions and a handbook and if it's winter, demand snow tires. It's a nightmare driving otherwise.

So, as a…read morefrequent customer who rents cars for business and leisure, from a 1-day to 2 to 3-week periods, I can say with confidence that the team at this location is the best in class! I know most folks at Enterprise provide great service/experience compared to other car rental companies, but Romeo, Wajeeh and the team on Laird Dr take it to a whole different level. I used to rent from another nearby Enterprise location, and when they were transferred to this location, I switched to renting from their new location. They both strike the perfect balance between friendly and professional. Excellent prices, efficient pick-ups and drop-offs, great collection of mostly new cars, free premium upgrades and early pick-ups whenever possible, and excellent handling of any issues with car and/ore before or after the rental, as well as safe keeping anything we forget in the car after drop-off (phone, sunglasses, etc.) All in all, exceptional experiences and an amazing team behind all of it. I pretty much exclusively rent from them for any trip from Toronto, and they are my first recommendation whenever anyone asks me for the best place to rent a car in the city.

To start with, you will either be stuck with a minivan or a Nissan that has leaky tires & a glitchy infotainment system. Second, they will neglect to close out your rental in a timely manner. I've now had to deal with this twice, where the app says my rental is past due & I receive no receipt. These rentals are for business, & I need to have the receipt as soon as possible to submit for billing purposes. However, National doesn't care, the local branch or the customer service number. They will just say they'll let YYZ Airport National management know, but that does nothing. Absolutely ridiculous - no matter if you are EE status or not, they don't care.
