1 Star Very disappointed with the customer service at this Enterprise location. I reserved a large SUV well in advance because I was traveling out of town. Then, only 6 hours before my scheduled pickup, I received a call telling me they didn't have the SUV I reserved. What was most frustrating wasn't just the lack of availability--it was the lack of effort to find a solution. I wasn't offered a comparable vehicle or any meaningful assistance. Instead, I was left scrambling at the last minute, calling other rental companies and trying to find an SUV on my own while preparing for my trip. If you know a customer has an upcoming reservation, especially for a specific type of vehicle, there should be better planning and communication. This experience was stressful, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I hope this location improves how they handle reservations so other customers don't have to go through what I did. read more

My husband and I had a very disappointing experience at the Enterprise location in Burlington, NJ. We were renting a vehicle because my husband's car had broken down, which was already a stressful situation. We arrived before closing and were trying to work through some details of the rental when an employee abruptly told us that it was past closing time and that we needed to hurry up. When my husband responded that we were still trying to complete the rental, the employee stated, "I'm not going to rent a vehicle to you." At no point were we disrespectful, argumentative, or inappropriate. We were simply trying to figure out a few things and did not deserve to be treated that way. What made this experience even more frustrating was that my husband had rented from this same location just the week before. Instead of receiving understanding and professional customer service, we were treated rudely and dismissed. Because it was late, we were left with very limited options for obtaining a vehicle elsewhere. This was one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, especially when they are facing stressful circumstances and are trying to do business with your company. TERRIBLE!!!!! I completed my booking online and the total was totally different from what I was charged. I signed the contract where the guy informed me that including the insurance it will cost $85 dollars. We came here because my wife's car got water damage from the last couple of storms that we had... Also because of the heat mold problems occurred... The staff was very friendly and helpful... They even had the car ready and waiting for us before knowing that it was the exact car my wife was looking at the day before... That vehicle got terrible gas milage so we returned the next day and they had no problem giving her another vehicle... Horrible company. Checked out on a third party website my total was $452 dollars with the insurance on the vehicle. I paid them $807 when I picked up my truck because there is an additional three hundred dollar hold. And when I dropped it off at this location, the idiots working there said "we need an additional three hundred dollars for blah blah blah" absolute INSANITY has to call and Karen because of how incompetent the company is tryna charge me $1100 for a fucking FORD that was supposed to cost $450. My jaw was on the goddamn floor. Cannot recommend any less would give zero stars if I could do not ever rent with enterprise. read more

I truly appreciate the car selection. I had rented a car for 30 days after being in a near fatal accident. Inquiring and booking with Max went very smooth and convenient when seeking a comfortable car for me and my child. No only did I not feel being ripped off as I was very well informed of rules and risk in paying extra. Kevin was very good as always made himself available and would also go over and beyond . His expertise was definitely top tier. Max took his time to work as well as walk me through their lot to pick a convenient vehicle. This location definitely knows how to make you feel at home. Furthermore Ashley the branch manager lightened my worries by checking in on me during my trip. Can't forget Sam with his experience on cars and helping me learn how to connect my phone and work the endless entertainment systems that came with thee vehicle. I picked up a rental car today at 4:00 PM. I have to use it to get to work and get my kids around while mine is being repaired. The service people were very friendly. However, it was clear they were too busy to clean out cars properly in between customers. When I got home I thought the car smelled a little funky, so I looked around the inside. I noticed some ash in the dashboard front seat passenger side. I found a dead bug in the arm rest of the back seat with more ash. There were crumbs I had to clean out of the center console. There were specks of dirt inside the glass of the front window and the rearview mirror. I didn't feel like driving back since I had to get my daughter from daycare, so I began to clean the car myself. While my cleaning supplies were out, I found a rolled cigar in the seat back pocket. The worker at the Enterprise location only had me inspect the outside of the car, not the inside. I wish I had checked it for cleanliness more throughly before driving it off. read more

There is a bunch of young guys and one older guy. I walked in and advised I wanted a comparable vehicle to what I drive. They advised since I had 50/1500. I would have to get a small suv. I advised regardless of my coverage I can pick a smaller car. This is about rates and what they are going to get out of pocket. They straight up lied to my face. I was agitated and try to keep calm b/c i just got into a car accident. I dont want to be jerked around. I call lumberton and they advised I can have a standard vehicle. The Customer Service and dishonestly at this location is abysmal. After returning a car from rental, I had the unpleasant time of interacting with the Branch Manager (I use that term loosely) Joshua Sterling. As a HR Director with an advanced degree from Villanova, I possess a plethora of knowledge in both coaching and/or replacing poor management! Joshua embodies everything I've experienced in a failed, clueless, unprofessional, and frankly ill equipped manager. His inability to handle the most basic customer service needs along with his rude demeanor leaves much to be desired. Enterprise is known for deceptive practices based on multiple attorney reviews. We have been to a couple other car rental places over the years and have experienced customer service in many different ways, but the tried and true place has been consistent for us at Burlington Enterprise. December 2019 we were involved in an accident and were hit so as part Of the repair process we had to drop our car off to get fixed and had to pick up a rental the only place that I would trust comes to mind as Burlington Volkswagen the people there are knowledgeable and very helpful and the experience is very low to no stress which means the world when you are in a stressful situation like a car accident they were in constant contact with us but not overbearing and they took us through all the steps to make sure that all of our bases were covered the paperwork was quick and the experience was enjoyable. They gave us a choice of a couple different options and helped us to choose the best option for our family we ended up in the Ford fusion in a beautiful shade of blue it drives like a dream and it is very good on gas which means a lot to us thank you so much for taking great care of us once again Burlington Enterprise and a special shout out to Brandon who was very thorough and very polite and very knowledgeable. read more

Had to rent a vehicle from Monday to Friday. Did the reservation online, and about 10 minutes later someone called me to confirm the information. When I went to pick up the vehicle there was a little bit of a wait, but things moved quickly. Returned the car with no issues and they even asked if I needed a ride. I'm sure it was protocol, but it was sweet to ask even though I had already had transportation set up. Staff who "check me in" and "checked me out" were both very friendly. read more

So its official. I think this is the best location to rent a vehicle from in South Jersey. I rented from other locations like Cherry Hill, Marlton, & one location that i think is moved now but was close to the Collingswood area. Now this location doesn't have a huge selection like other locations but I will say they got the most pleasant, professional, & nicest gentlemen working out of this location. Within the last month I think I rent about 3 or 4 times from here, including a 15 passenger van, a premium vehicle, and a regular full size vehicle. The workers here make the process so easy, quick, & pleasant. They do that with renting out and returning, its all been a pleasant experience so far. Ill even go as far to say, "Burlington" is not my idea area, so I always avoided renting from this location because of that and would go out the way to rent elsewhere but I'm so glad that this month, I decided to try this location. Besides the fact that they got the best workers here, each vehicle i have rented, I had a way better driving experience in each of them. The vehicles here definitely get their maintenance done regularly. I say that because I have rental a few vehicles from the Cherry Hill location where the vehicles just don't drive like they go through regular maintenance. This location also has plenty of the big passenger vans here. For the most part, the vehicles here always been clean, with the exception of just needing some more cleaning in the big 15-passenger vans but all and all been a pleasure renting from this location and hope to always experience the good I have here in the future. read more

So on top of the horrible service we received we finally got our van and it was horrible as well. They gave us a van with low tire pressure and something else wrong with the back tires. The whole drive the minivan sounded like an annoying clicking. Something similar to the sound you hear when trucks put on their air brakes except this lasted for 9 hours. I would think for the money you pay you would get a well inspected vehicle that was taken care of. Oh let's not forgot the the car WAS not cleaned before we used it. Scam artist! Do not use! If I could I would give not one star. I received a bill in the mail after a rental with charges I didn't agree to. In short, the agency was unable to produce the contract with the alleged charges agreed. I paid the portion of the bill for the charges I agreed to. A few weeks later I receive a bill in the mail from a collection agency with the full charges as if I didn't pay what I agreed to. Be sure to keep your written contract and all receipts received as you more than likely will need them after the rental. read more

I recently had to have four tires replaced, due to a couple of pothole hits in Philadelphia -- thinking that the repair would be a quick fix (same day), I was told that I would have to wait a couple of days, before my car could be serviced! Since, I can't be without a car, I rushed out of there and headed over to the Enterprise at 5:30 PM and was back on the road by closing time! Excellent service! read more

Unfortunately, I've been here a few times when my car was getting body work done. I've had good experiences each time. Last time, they let me switch cars because the interior smelled like smoke. The customer service has always been good. This time it was exceptionally good. The manager, Lance, took care of me and he was very nice. He was making small talk about New Years and was very inviting to all other customers who were coming in. There was a "problem" customer that came in and Lance diffused the situation very quickly and everybody was happy. I did have to wait about 10 minutes for them to clean a car for me, but from what it sounds like, Monday mornings are typically their busiest time. I witnessed a customer having a complaint, however the young lady was very understanding and as she got the manager he was very understanding and professional. He explained the procedure in question to the customer and in the the end the customer was satisfied and understood why the procedure was in place. The car I rented was very nice clean and the price was reasonable. When I returned the car another employee dropped me off at my home and she was very nice and professional. I am a month to month renter with Enterprise, and honestly I'm surprised more people who drive a ton in sales don't do it. As I drive 50000+ miles per year, I'm able to drive and be fully covered for MUCH less aggravation (and in the long term, price), than I would if I bought a new car (lease is out of the question). I'm in and out with ease, and rarely with any issues. Sure, on rare occasion a problem arises, but they're always handled with class, and the proper actions are always taken. The staff was pretty much very professional and knew what they were doing for the most part. The part I'm dissatisfied with is this: #1. I made a reservation over the phone and it was known I was using my debit card. They picked me up which was great! because I live close enough. When I got there, THEN they told me because I was using a debit card, I would need to show 2 other current bills that I receive at my current address! Well, I'm in their office and had no way to get a print out of any of my bills from there computer! I COULDN'T REMEMBER not one password because I was shocked. I then had to wait for a driver to come back to the office and take me back home to get the info. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME, and frustrated as H! They should've told me to bring 2 bills over the darn phone! I prayed and managed to hold in my thoughts...(trust me, they were NOT good!) #2. The other thing is; OK, nobody likes a smoker (I get that), but don't wait until I rent the car and tell me that no smoking is allowed in the car! What? I took the car back the next day. The car was great and so was the person who assisted in getting me the car. The only issue I have with Enterprise is I never get a full tank of gas when not renting at the airport. When I got the car it was almost empty and the associate from Enterprise did go and get gas for me before I left. However, she didn't fill it up and was between 1/2 and 3/4 full which meant I had to bring it back at that point. It is difficult to bring it back to that level and much easier if it was full. When I asked why it wasn't filled she said their credit card will only allow a certain dollar amount which I think is ridiculous. I would have given 5 stars if not for this. read more

The service from pickup to check in was good. I am extremely disappointed at the enterprise agent, who provided me with inaccurate information and had me signed something which I told him I didn't want. I believe the agent's name is rob, nice person, well spoken and professionally but gave me the wrong info then charged me for things I didn't need. Luckily, he called today for a timeline of when I needed to drop off the vehicle, which made me ask how much was the bill. when he told me it was over $700 for 7 days I knew he screwed up on my contract. After trying to have him take off the additional charges for things I told him I didn't want, he refunded me back half of it which sounded like he was doing me a favor instead this should have been completely wiped. I am extremely upset about the experience and will be looking elsewhere for rental service in the future. This will be a last resort location for me. Maybe if I had another agent my experience at enterprise would be different. read more
