Completed a 4 day rental over a week ago and was pleased with the service. Could only pick up close to quitting time and they were okay with waiting after hours for me to arrive. Thankfully I was able to make it 15 min before then. I appreciate how Ethan, stayed in touch with us via email and voice mail confirming our pick up and satisfaction. The car, a Honda Accord 4 door, was clean, drove well and was fine. He had to apologize for a previous customer putting tent on all the windows! No fault of Enterprise. But who would do that on a rental???? We arrived late so not many options to switch out in our price range and style. We rode through Va, and was hoping it would not be an issue. And it wasn't. For many years now this location has been my choice for rentals. They seem to have a better selection, larger lot, cordial representatives. Hoping it stays that way. Would recommend. read more

I am submitting this review due to unauthorized charges, failure to honor commitments by management, and extremely poor customer service regarding rental agreement. My vehicle was at Caliber Collision for repairs. My auto insurance policy covered the first 30 days of my Enterprise rental. Because Caliber damaged my vehicle while it was in their care, Caliber agreed to cover the remainder of the rental period beyond those 30 days. In early June 2026, I met in person with branch managers at Enterprise. They reviewed the file and confirmed that a split-billing agreement was in place: insurance paid up to their maximum, and Caliber was responsible for the remaining balance. The branch managers acknowledged in person that I should never have been charged, confirmed that Enterprise received payment from both my insurance and Caliber, and explicitly promised that the unauthorized charges on my card would be reversed immediately. Over a month later, not only has the refund been issued, but Enterprise has charged me again for the exact same fees. Enterprise has effectively double dipped, taking full payments from insurance and Caliber while continuing to bill my personal account for funds I do not owe. To make matters worse, attempting to resolve this over the phone has been impossible. Upon calling the local branch, staff immediately place callers on hold before even offering a greeting. When you finally reach an employee Brandon and ask for a manager, you are tossed back onto hold or routed into automated prompts. I will be filing a complaint to the BBB, attorney generals office and will have my legal team reach out to Enterprise Directly. read more

Caitlyn and Ryan are amazing! I walked in on a Sunday with no reservation, in need of a car for a girls trip planned months ago, but unfortunately I had unplanned car repairs. So I made the executive decision to rent a nice mid-size SUV to 1) get us to the spa and 2) test drive smaller cars in preparation for retiring my mommy mobile. Caitlyn was running the desk and I found out she is the manager, and she took care of me so quickly and professionally, I thought I rolled into a simulation. Caitlyn ran that whole office with about 6 other ppl waiting for vehicles, insurance updates or just availability, she gave everyone attention and an update in their situation. MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE EVER!!! Enterprise DO NOT LEAVE THE DRIVING TO THIS LOCATION!! Entire staff has a horrible attitude. They say they will pick you up then never show and don't call. When I called to see what happened they literally took the phone off the hook and talked among themselves in the background! Here's the problem with them. They don't honor you if you are on an insurance claim... I suspect thats why service was so bad, the assistant manager Andrew failed to mention that they don't service my area... he could have just said something so I could go elsewhere... I'm the customer he works there and I don't. When they mess up NO APOLOGY whatsoever!!! BEWARE OF SCAM attempt to get you to upgrade!! Employees get paid commissions for upgrades, they try to get you to upgrade by being dishonest!! We made a reservation on the website. Right after making the reservation we got a phone call from the Enterprise location advising that the car we rented may not be available when we arrive, but they'll offer us other options upon arrival. When we arrived just 2 hours after making the reservation, they employee told us the car we had confirmed on the website wasn't available but we could pay more to upgrade to another car. When we questioned the amount of the additional charge the employee became dismissive and difficult to work with. She began whispered conversations with the other employees and treating us like we were an inconvenience because we wouldn't immediately agree to the upgraded car and extra charge. We asked if there were cars being washed and soon available that are the car size we originally rented. She said she didn't have to time to check and would get back to us. Only 2 minutes later...surprise!!!...the car size we originally rented pulled up outside and was available. The employee tried to SCAM us by saying the car we reserved wasn't available. I booked a reservation online yesterday and called the location six times in the three hours between when they opened and my reservation time. No one answered my call and when I arrived there were all of a sudden no cars available. The assistant manager Ethan emailed me 15 minutes before my reservation time when I was already on my way in the ride share. A complete waste of my time and money. The employees were rude and condescending and said they didn't answer any phone calls because they were busy. Two people came in after me with the same issue. Sloppy work. Bad business practices. Rented a car through Priceline. I was happy with the price and proximity to my house as I didn't want to deal with the airport. They had a nice fleet of vehicles. I was happy with the customer service but terribly disappointed with The cleanliness of the vehicles. I started with a 2022 Tacoma and the seats were covered in Mud. Settled on a 2022 Nissan Frontier. Good vehicle but was not as clean as I would have hoped. Also, I purchased a suppliers choice and wanted an SUV. They gave away my car to someone else I had to pay Uber to go and come back home three separate times on top of it when you call they do not explain what you need to bring so you can be prepared, then they say they will call you when a car is available. Horrible customer service. Booked a rental so I could be present for a funeral service. My flights were delayed due to weather, which essentially led to me missing my reservation pick up time. I stayed in communication with the rental company every step of the way to ensure my booking would not be affected. 3 hours later I arrive to the rental place to find they have released my reservation, and gave the vehicle to someone else. There were little to no options to choose from. Only thing left on the lot are vans, or I have the option to wait 30-40 minutes for another car to be worked on. As someone who took the time to book in advance and communicate with the company every step of the way of my trip, I am not happy. I was lied to my face. I feel I should not have to settle for whatever is left. I also will not be recommending anyone to book with Enterprise. Waste of time and money. Definitely helped make a bad day worse. read more

I went here trying to get a rental a car, someone broke into my car and having a horrible day. I was feeling happy and optimistic until I arrived at this enterprise location and Devon helped me. I did not have my license. I only had my passport, so he right away did not offer me any solutions just did not talk to me and I left I ordered a license and received a paper copy and even called to confirm that I could use this paper copy. They told me I could so I walked 25 minutes to this location hoping that I could get a car once I arrived. Unfortunately Devon was there again and did not accept this piece of paper because there was no photo. When I asked him if I can use my passport since it has my name and information on it he said no. I called a different enterprise and right away. They told me that I could use my paper copy of the license and passport with no problem at all. I'm not sure why Devon is in customer service when he has no ounce of personality or empathy. I was optimistic about my day, but now I feel devastated and targeted for unknown reasons. if you're young girl, I would not recommend going there. Great experience for a rental agency! My insurance company booked my reservation and Enterprise picked me up quickly. When I returned the vehicle I was able to leave it at the shop and not worry about bringing it back. My only issue is the location is so small you really need to book in advance to get the vehicle you want. I lucked out and was able to get a sedan that had just come in. Had a great experience at this location over the past weekend. I had an issue with the Hertz car rental down the street, they did not have enough cars to rent one to me even though I had a reservation so Enterprise came to my rescue. I got online and made a reservation but then called this office to make sure they had cars available which they did. They had plenty to choose from and it worked out perfectly. Everyone that works there was very friendly and professional. They kept me in the loop on checking in, when somebody would take me out to the lot to choose a car, made sure that it was cleaned and sanitized etc as there was several couples checking in at the same time as me. I noticed from a couple other reviews that other customers have had similar trouble at this Enterprise location as I had with Hurtz so it sounds like it may be a risk that you take renting from the offsite locations on a weekend, but I am so grateful that this worked out for me and we were able to get on the road to the beach fairly quickly. read more

We always use a rental from enterprise, always were happy with the service, however this time we got a little truck. The driving was fine, the price too. However when my husband dropped it off they found a 1.5 inch tear in the rubber of the back bumper. This little truck was driven from point a to point B. No stops for shopping, no messing with cargo in the bed, nothing. My husband went to visit his elderly father, his son, and that was it. He came back home. The person that received the car went straight to the back bumper.... Needless to say, they kept the 200 dollar deposit and after a month and a half, we still need to pay them $40.00. The part new costs 50 bucks. But it is also something that they can do over and over again. We have seen un-dated blurry pictures of the tear, no dated pictures of the replaced bumper cover. read more

It all started on a cold winter morning... (Bear with me now) So About 7:00 this morning ,yes I was finally going to be on time for work, I click the unlock button on the key fob and no response. I then proceed to open the car 1980 style by sticking the key in the door and it opened! I knew their was a problem but I thought maybe I damages the key, WRONG the battery died! Why? Because I'm use to driving a car with auto lights, so when I parked the car the night before I forgot to turn them off which equals dead battery! Ok I'll get to the point now! I get a cab and reach there and what I find out is that there are no cars available and there are 28 other people who have been kept on hook for cars when none is available. If a vehicle smells like cigarettes, it should probably be removed from the fleet until that issue is remedied. I have literally felt sick since that last road trip. The solution should not be "we sprayed something in the vents to try to remove the smell." One of the key fobs didn't work which is not a big deal. We got a good price and the Camry we had ran beautifully. So why two stars? The agent tried to charge us almost a $100 more than our reservation was for. Once that was corrected, he showed me the car. It needed washing and vacuuming. He washed and vacuumed it. It was dripping wet - hadn't been dried. We inspected the car, noting the one significant scratch, and went on our way. About a half our down the road, we noticed the smell of cigarette smoke. It became obvious that someone had smoked in the car and that the company had done nothing to mitigate that. I also noticed that the gas gauge was on 3/4, not full. Guess I need to check that rather than trust that a company like Enterprise would fill the tank or note it on the rental agreement. They did neither. The next day, we drove west in the morning, meaning the sun was shining on the rear of the car. The inside of the back window was so covered with dirt, grime, and film that it was impossible to see out the back in the rearview mirror. Finally, one of the features of the car I found while playing with the controls was the tire pressure monitor. According to the monitor the pressures were 36 (LR), 38 (RR), 39 (RF) and 40 (LF). Being that out of balance and that overinflated indicates a potential safety problem to me. Obviously, Enterprise does not check tire inflation. Again, the car was otherwise excellent, we were finally charged what we were supposed to be charged, and had an excellent 10 day trip. I would go back here, but would be a real pain in the butt about checking our the car including making them check tire pressure before I got in. read more

I recently flew into to Charlotte airport then took a cab to this agency. It was booked through Priceline. I had asked for a full-size car, "Nissan Altima or similar." The day before I left the agency rep called me to ask me if I were coming in to get the car the next day. I said I would. So the next day I flew into CLT, took a cab, then arrived at the agency. First they offered us a choice of pick-up trucks. No, we didn't want that. We ordered a sedan, presumably with four doors. Then we were offered a less-than full size Ford with three seats. It was a modified, small sedan. Would have ben noisy. In the end, the compromise was for a Chevy Camaro with minimal equipment (no grab bars, back-up viewer, GPS) and we are in our 70s. The card rode uncomfortably and one had to be a gymnast to get the safety belt. We had no choice. Then I ask for a road map of Charlotte or the central state region. No maps available. "That's something we might want to have on hand," said one employee to another. Duh! Fortunately we were able to turn in the vehicle at the airport and we did not have to deal with the initial agency. read more

This location transitioned from Triangle to Enterprise. Since I had used both in the past, I assumed there would be no issue. The 1st agent I spoke with couldn't find my loyalty info, but fortunately they haven't fired everyone from Triangle. Jennie was able to pull my Triangle info and meet the online rates from a competitor. When we arrived to pick up the car, they didn't have anything but a 3 Series BMW. They upgraded us immediately and we were able to leave our sedan in their secured lot. The experience was great from beginning to end. We always shop for rental car deals, but wind up using this location because they offer positive experiences. read more

We were taking a trip with 6 adults and wanted a large GM and ask several times if it would be a GM. Got sort of an assurance. Picked up a Ford Expedition. The front windshield was so dirty you could barely see thru it on the passenger side. Dog paws and nose prints. Then it had no windshield wiper fluid. When we returned it the manager was very apologetic an offered $200 off the rental price. We felt he understood the problem. read more

Jenny was awesome in showing us the minivans and showing us how to remove the seats to suit our needs. I have had the pleasure of renting 3 cars, for several days over the past 4-6 weeks at this location. The staff, service, quality and cleanliness of the vehicles has been exceptional. I've rented 2 smaller SUV's and a smaller car. They would picked me up from the repair shop, made sure my transition was detailed and expedient and followed up while I had the rental in my possession and after it was returned to ensure my satisfaction. On the last rental, Christopher was exceptionally professional, kind and attentive in making sure my customer experience was a memorable one. They called when it was ready,asked where they could pick me up, let me choose the car in the price range rental I was given. Their customer service was excellent. Becca Chen was wonderful and when my first rental had a tire issue, she came to my work with a new rental. The whole process for the replacement car was maybe 10 minutes at the most. rented a ~smoke-free~ vehicle for a business trip to atl. however, the car smelled like cigarettes & i don't smoke so that shit gave me a headache v bad that i wanted to vom. basically had to drive w the windows down in 90f +humidity - NOT FUN even w the a/c blasting. at one point it had rained & the windshield wipers made it 6x harder to see. i explained these issues at drop-off so enterprise can properly inspect the vehicle & prepare it for the next driver. their rectification was to offer me a 40% discount off my next rental since this one was on company dime (cool great thx, right? wrong). took me calling them 4x over a month-long period to finally receive the link just to find out i only got 20$ off. if i knew it was only 20$ off, i would've just booked through youdecide where i get the same discount through my company. i waited a whole month thinking i was going to receive a solid deal, to find out i wasted my time. don't get me wrong, i appreciate them ~trying~ to rectify the situation but don't LIE. ughhhhh. read more

Manager Ian Richardson and his entire staff, especially Jenny Torres, worked hard to locate any available vehicles that might meet our needs.
