I have experienced the worst customer service experience with this business. I have tried switching out my rental since the day I got it. I've been told I was on a list and they will call me to let me know something. I have never ever received a call back from Enterprise Chapman Rd. I continued to call and received an excuse for not getting a callback. So after one of my many calls I was informed that I could call any Enterprise to swap cars. So I called Lee Hwy, Fort Oglethorpe, and Hixson Pike and was told by the representative, "I will call you back". Til this day 4/23 NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK. So I take it that is just what they tell you just to get you off the phone. Surprisingly this morning I had. Voicemail from Enterprise Chapman Rd stating my contract had expired and they needed the vehicle back. I quickly returned the vehicle and the lady who called lied and said I tried calling you 5x yesterday and I told her to stop lying because I didn't have one missed call nor a voicemail. She stated I gave the wrong number on my contract and she had to call around to get the correct number and I left a voicemail for you. My question is Who did you call around to??? My contract was set up by Liberty Mutual so me giving the wrong number on my contract was another lie. And for her to say she called around to get my real number was another lie. I received the car on half tank and I'm mad I returned it above half but I'm going to wait and see if another lie be told. Enterprise communication skills are the worst once they get you in a car they don't care about anything else. Now I have 2 pending charges for $50 that will be disputed. Enterprise knows who I am because I'm posting my review on the day of this event when we exchanged words and I bet they still won't call me. read more

Esther and her staff were extremely accommodating and helpful when dealing with insurance and made multiple calls to help facilitate this rental. Rented a car on 11/6 through my insurance for an accident. The only vehicles available for $30 a day were Hyundai or a Chevy Spark. I'm 6ft and did t want the Spark so I took the Accent. Driving this car sucks. It's so low to the ground i feel like I have to roll out of it. The worst part is the smell. It smells like they drenched the car in cherry flavored cough medicine. I'm guessing they are trying to cover up this smell of weed or cigars...I can't tell. I get a headache every time I drive it. This is the worst POS car I've ever rented. read more

5 star service all around. They were all amazing and very helpful. However, there was one beautiful angel called Kathleen that really made my whole experience 1000 times better. No pushbacks on the fact that the car didn't have the missing tire cover in the system. I only needed to show a pic i took when i picked it up and there was no doubt of my word. And overall her customer service skills are amazing, very professional and with a very warming aura. I would recommend this enterprise to any of my friends. And i would rent a car just to say hi again. Ps Like i said everyone was outstanding too. Had to turn my car into the body shop. Set an appt to be picked up at 10:00. When called this particular Rental the person speaking sounded asleep. And said no earlier than 1:30. The manager at the Body shop called them to come get me. They said they would be there in a few minutes. They didn't show. So he dropped me off still sitting in an office with 10 people and still can't get service. read more

I have rented here on numerous occasions and customer service is 10 out of 10. Well organized and also very busy. I definitely recommend you make an appointment before going to try and pick up a car. When renting, I was told I would have a full sized sedan. When I arrived the following day, I was given a Subcompact Chevy Spark with 70,000 miles on it. I asked why they had changed my reservation and was told that was all that Geico would provide. I told them that I was told that I was allowed an SUV or sedan by Geico. I called and spoke with Stephen the next day and said I feel very unsafe in this small of a car. The a/c needs Freon and isn't cooling and I need to transport my Grandson in his car seat and the car is just too small. He said that was all they would provide. At the end of the week, I returned the car to the same Chapman location. While the vehicle was being processed for return, I asked to speak with the Manager. A young Man came out and I asked him if it was Enterprise or Geico who decided to give me a Subcompact with such high mileage. He started cocking his head and speaking g to me in a ridiculously condescending tone. I told him not to cock his head and talk to me that way. I said, I will just finish returning my vehicle and deal with the other issue when I return from vacation. He started screaming at me to leave! I asked the other young man if he wanted to finish my return process and the Manager, Joshua E McDonald, said that he wanted me to leave without finishing the return. The following day, Stephen left me a voicemail asking me to complete the rental transaction. While I was on vacation, I called the Adjuster from Geico and asked him to complete the process with Enterprise. The following day, Stephen left me another voicemail telling me that I might be receiving a 2 question customer service email and that they would appreciate it if I would answer both questions that I was Highly Satisfied with their service. Lol When I returned from vacation today, I called the Chapman location to get the Regional Manager's information. The Branch Manager, Joshua E McDonald answered the phone. I asked for the phone number or email address for the Regional Manager. He asked if he could help me and I responded, no, you are the one that I want to address with his Manager. Josh told me that the Regional Manager doesn't have a phone number or an email address. I told Josh that I will just call another location for it and he said their Regional Manager would be different. I left my Name and Phone number and asked Josh to have his Manager call me. Enterprise has some lovely Employees at the Ringgold and Lee Hwy locations and I have never had such lying, screaming craziness before. They should promote someone else to take over the Chapman location or get some additional training for Joshua!!!! read more

Using this place was a disaster from the get go. Called ahead to see if this location had ANY sedans, rude girl on the phone said they had plenty of sedans, get there and they had none, not a single one. Thats fine, i just told them to give me the cheapest car they had. Tried to get me to take this crappy ford suv, the thing STUNK of cigarettes. Offered me the other ford suv they had, it smelled like marijuana terrible. I hadn't noticed when picking it up. The car had a noticeable crack in the windshield. Guy taking the pictures of all the damages said he got pictures of it. Im pretty sure its not safe to rent a vehicle with a CRACK in the windshield. I kept the car a few days past, but never went over the miles, i probably put less than 100 total on the pos. Then they tried to charge me for the extension (got it figured out with insurance company.) i almost puked every time i drove the thing, the smell was that strong. Then when i returned it they started calling me about the crack on the windshield, saying i was going to need to pay for it. the guy who gave me the car didn't note it in the file. I had taken my own pictures though, and they dropped it. The guy i returned the car to gave me a card that he wrote in pen "a free upgrade", as if they would honor that at a future date. The girl they have answering the phones is the rudest person i've ever had the displeasure of speaking with. 0/10 would never go here again. read more

I had a great experience from start to finish. The woman O spoke to when I called to book was really nice and went through the various costs if I rented and dropped off in a different city. She also helped me figure out which drop off location was closest to my destination. Then when I went to pick up Josh helped me out and he was friendly and courteous from the beginning. After getting me checked in he went and helped the guy getting the car ready so it would be done quickly and i wouldn't have to wait as long. While we were doing the car walk through he saw a little tree frog on the ground. He commented that he would get run over and asked if I would mind if he took him to the grass. I of course wanted him to save the frog! He also helped me look for an additional discount to add on to help the price come down a bit. Overall it was a pleasant interaction, with his friendly demeanor being appreciated. So many people working in the customer service industry (which I do also) act like you are inconveniencing them with your presence. read more

BEWARE when getting a rental car through insurance!!!!!! I was in a car accident where the other party was at fault. I was supposed to get the rental car and avoid paying anything out of pocket. The employees here said they "knew how insurance works" and therefore were able to help me get the coverage I needed for the rental car. I got talked into coverage that the insurance ultimately wouldn't pay for and that in the end I would be responsible for. They said the insurance would reimburse me and they were wrong! I signed a contract that I did not fully comprehend so I had to pay it in the end because the insurance did not. The insurance told me the employees do not know how insurance works!!!!!! Do not get talked into anything extra!!! These people have no business advising people on how insurance companies work or convincing them to buy anything extra!!! What is most upsetting is that I received a courtesy called 4 days after getting the rental saying insurance went through and would be paying!!! I was told I would be refunded what I payed when I returned the car. Yay!!!!! WRONG - They never once mentioned that I was racking up a bill that I would be responsible for. They never once said that insurance was only paying for a portion and not all. I was swindled!!! This place needs to take accountability - especially because everyone was like "I didn't help you. I'm not the one who helped you with the car." EVEN THOUGH, I literally said you rented it to me!!! Do they not have receipts on who is renting cars and helping customers???? I have been a frequent customer here but I am not happy with the customer service I received today. I always request a midsize SUV with good gas mileage. So today I got a vehicle that did not meet my request. I was told this was all there was...so just take it. I was given the option to switch cars in another city. I literally give this rental place a zero. Very bad customer service. When I was there an employee had a very mad look on his face ,and telling me that I cannot make a reservation like 30 minutes before they close. He looks so very mad and told me that the person I talked to and made reservations doesn't know the job. I made a reservation like an hour before. I got there like 45 minutes before they close. Also this rental place will never give me the vehicle I like, even if it's available when I called and reserve it. They pick a piece of shit vehicle for me to drive. This manager and staff are idiots lol. Was renting a car last December 2018 and the guy took my license and credit card. Ran my card janded it back but kept my driver's license. Went outside gone for 10 minutes. Came back in then went back and put car in the garage. We did walkaround i signed the tablet got in car. Guy finally handed me license back and said need credit card again. I said to hurry up. He just kept saying what did u say. Told him not to be asshole and i got manager. He said i cursed at the guy so put me on ne rent list. Tried to talk to someone about since then and finally got a call today. I'm completely dissatisfied with this location and its assistant manager deandre mercer. Would not waive my young rider fee for being a military and Usaa member, like all other employees have done for me for the past four years of renting with enterprise. I even showed the man receipts where it gets waived and where it states that they waive it. It is completely up to their discretion and he chose that he wasn't going to honour it. I feel disrespected and have had the worst day with car trouble and needing to drive north to see my father for his birthday and this guy has put the icing on the cake for being rude and not honouring such a simple thing that every other employee has. read more

If I could do zero stars I would. I am a gold member. I booked a car this morning for pick up at noon today. The reservation was confirmed. When I arrived I was told there were no cars, and I was on a waiting list for 3 hours or more and could wait. I canceled my reservation. The agent kept talking and making excuses. I took Lift there and back and all I got was I'm sorry. No offer to take me home or reimburse for Lift. So I was out $50 for lift that could have been avoided if they had the decency to either call or email me that a car was not available at that time. NEVER COME HERE! Absolute JOKE! Customer service was non existent. We waited outside in the heat for 20min before being approached by a girl who has been standing in the garage spraying a car down and saw us standing there previously. They finally brought us inside and the girl wasn't even wearing her mask. She finally took us to a truck that REEKED of smoke. We let her know that we have a small child and that would not be acceptable. She took us to another car (begrudgingly) and it also reeked of smoke. She then told us those were our only options. We asked if there was ANYTHING available and she rolled her eyes and look toward I a man who I assume was a manager who told us he would have to charge us more for a different car. They took us to the third car which... you guessed it! REEKED of smoke AND some awful perfume to cover it up! My hubby doesn't review details and signed what they put in front of him - then after I got the bill when he turned in the car, they would not reverse the fee. That's a rip off in my book!! Enterprise Rent-A-Car far exceeded my expectations. I had previously reserved a rental from another Company, aka, Thrifty, two weeks prior to attend an out of state funeral for my father. Thrifty not only provided inaccurate information multiple times via its support desk, but ultimately refused to rent to us. ONE call to Enterprise and we were in an vehicle within an hour at a great rate. The staff was helpful, informative and compassionate... awesome people. I will only rent from Enterprise Rent-A-Car going forward. Enterprise is the best in the rental business. TEN star, number 1 rated company, in my view. Would not recommend this car service ever. Especially not during an epidemic/natural disaster. I Got a rental through my insurance when a tree fell on my house/car. Two days later I was IN A TORNADO, and lost my debit card. I was upfront and told them there was damages to the car. I went by to pay deductible and get a new car like my insurance told me to do. They were rude and said they didn't take money orders (I was having to get a new card) and that since I didn't have a new reservation and had to keep the damaged car to drive(not what my insurance told me). She also said they don't do the claims and wouldn't talk to me till I did one for the rental. (My insurance also told me that was their job) Also when I first got the car it needed an oil change... still needs one. The girl manager was rude. I have had the worst week of my life and am fortunate to be alive and all they were worried about was getting money(that I had and gave when she finally took the money order). I feel like I'm getting treated like crap and I'm getting scammed. I feel I should have been treated with more respect and given a different car that didn't have damages to it. I will never go back. And I'd advice no one come here. I told my insurance I never what to go to enterprise again. Family business my ass. My insurance company reserved me a vehicle with this company so I can get my vehicle repaired. I spoke with the guy on Thursday and I told him that I planned on dropping my vehicle off that following Monday (since they don't want you dropping your vehicle off at the end of the week). We scheduled my pickup time for Monday at 5 p.m. I get to the collision place on Monday and the receptionist called Hertz to let them know that I was there and ready to picked up and there was no answer. We soon found out that they closed the office at 4 p.m. I didn't receive a courtesy phone call or anything. What kind of customer service is that?! You would think that they would call and let me know that due to what's going on, that they were closing earlier. I could've possibly made arrangements at work to leave earlier to accommodate THEM, but I had no idea that they were closing. I was just sitting there in the office trying to figure out what to do. I called my insurance agent and let her know what happened and she couldn't believe it. I asked her if she could switch me to Enterprise and she happily obliged. I always use Enterprise and I will NEVER use Hertz, even for personal use. That display of customer service was pathetic. Enterprise was there to pick me up!! She even brought the vehicle to me, had me sign paperwork on site, and drove another vehicle back so I wouldn't have to go back the office with her. I appreciated that so much!!! We recently rented a small SUV for our vacation. Our first impression was the odor...the previous renter had smoked in it, and it reeked! It was closing time, so they were rushed to get us out the door because it had taken so long to get it rented (more on that below), and as a result nothing could really be done about it. I just doused it in Febreze. The car was fine for our needs, rode a little rough, but that's expected of a small sport ute. We loved the in-dash display, so that was a nice feature. Two things to beware of when renting, however. One, If you are renting out-of-state, bring your most recent paid utility bill, especially if you're using a debit card. We did not know this and it took over an hour of searching, and finally having to have my mother fax a copy of my bill, which I had left at home, before we were on our way. Two, when returning your rental, this location does NOT have an after-hours drop box. The only other Enterprise I've ever used did, so I assumed they all did. This turned out to be especially frustrating when we ran into some difficulties and couldn't return the vehicle at our specified time. I was expecting to be charged for an extra day, but showing up at 1 a.m. to leave the vehicle, and still having another hour drive before getting home, after the day we'd had, was not good for my stress level. :) Overall, a good experience with a great company, I would highly recommend them for their customer service. read more

I have always done business with Enterprise, granted at a different location, where they never hesitated to put their customers first.... even if that meant the occasional upgrade in the customer's favor. Never would I ever have anticipated such a difference in service at another location. I was actually directed to this location as a courtesy from one of their corporate accounts, only to be dismissed so callously. The agent Kendra scoffed at my reservation claiming that it was only submitted an hour ago. But I knew that was not true, because I was furnished with the reservation number that morning, when I immediately called George at my favorite location checking their availability first - under that same reservation number. To add insult to injury, she then accursed me for not calling before arriving (without caring that I had just left my workplace, fought rush hour traffic to arrive in time to coordinate with the subsequent 5:30 pm appointment at neighboring repair shop). Despite my explanation, she insisted she didn't have the vehicle size available and a courtesy upgrade was not an option. The $10 difference was apparently too much? I have never felt so insulted, devalued, and inconvenienced by such a blatant lack of customer service, all of this ended up costing me my appointment at the repair shop! If Enterprise encourages this kind of treatment wrt their corporate accounts, I dare say the regular customer doesn't stand a chance! Your patronage is unwelcomed, and undeserved!
