Horrible service! They gave me a car that needed a oil change I called them & they told me it would be alright I'm not sure if that effects the gas but I had to keep putting gas in the car. Amber the manager is VERY rude and pretty much called me a liar! If I could give zero I would! Where do I begin.... I started renting with this location June 2024 after a serious car accident that totaled out my car. Adele, LaTonya, and Nigel were the ones who were working at the time and are absolutely the best people in the world. For 15.5 months straight I rented with enterprise. To say it was expensive is an understatement. Until October 10. I discovered they hired a new manager. Amber Greene. So I go in on Friday to do a new rewrite. Something that is done every 30 days. We rented a new car. We, as in myself and my dad. Something she did, which I know was against rules was she made me sign the contract. But used my dad's credit card to take the deposit. This is not allowed. Whoever signs the contract pays the deposit. She shows me my car, and sends me on my way. Later that night I discovered that the car she gave me didn't have child locks on the back doors. Something the previous management knew was a requirement as I have a special needs child. Amber Greene gave me her email as well as the number to text her at in the event I couldn't reach her through the phone. It was Friday night and I knew she wouldn't see the message till morning but I wanted to make sure I sent it so I didn't forget. I did not hear from her Saturday evening though I called during my lunch break as well as text. I asked her to modify the reservation by adding a week to my reservation. I asked her who needs to pay? I asked her again about the switch out. Nothing!!!! Sunday they are closed Monday at around 3:39pm she messaged me saying that we could not extend the car and need to bring it back to do a new contract. At this point I'm confused..... when did that become a rule? So I immediately text her and tell her I'm about to go on break and I'm calling her. No response!! I call, she answers and saying " thank you for calling enterprise, we are on the other line but you are next, please hold ",.... So I waited the 10 minutes I had left! Nothing! So I call again, nothing.... No one answered. At 5:20pm I call again. She answers and says to please hold. I was on hold until 5:50pm, when the employee Eli answers, " thank you for calling enterprise, how can I help you " I said, " can I speak to Amber" He said, " she's helping customer, can I possibly help you " I said " Eli, it's Natalie. I need to speak with her" He puts me on hold. At 5:58pm he comes back to the phone and says, " Amber isn't available she went home for the day " He proceeded to tell me, " Natalie you know you needed to make a payment and you had to come in to make the payment because your card isn't on file" " I said, " that's why I'm calling to find out who has to pay, me or my dad! He said, " one minute " He never muted me, but stayed quiet! I could hear noise in the background but no one was talking. After 3 minutes the phone hung up! The next day i text her again asking which of us needs to make this payment! Never received answer. Instead she texts and said, You need to come in to do a new contract! I said, " I need to make a payment or my dad does. I'm coming in to the location with my dad around 5." Her response, she emailed me a notice of turning my account over to risk management if I do not make a payment in 24 hours from the time of the notice! At 5:07pm my dad and I showed up and went in. I recorded the entire thing. Eli claimed that when he quit talking to me it was because he was helping a in person guest! Which I know is against policy! She said, that she did go home at 5:30pm that day and goes home that time every Monday! I again ask her why couldn't she have told me who was responsible for payment. She said because I knew that she did something wrong and the only way to fix it was to do a new contract. I told her, I have no idea what she did wrong, but that I didn't have an extra 300 to put down on a deposit plus 370.00 for the week. I said that my dad is paying for this and I'm going to continue on as the second driver. She dismissed me and said, that's not allowed! So now she is saying paying for a second driver isn't real? I told her we are turning in the car. She said fine. I again ask her why couldn't one of us make a payment? She finally said. " your dad could make the payment as his credit card is on file " So this entire thing was over nothing. She told me I had to make the payment! Eli said I had to make the payment! But no one would let me. And they wouldn't let my dad either. I returned the car and went to a different location. Got my car, no trouble! I had to go back because I left my ear pods in the car. They seem I was in a new car and looked me up! Amber Greene ( at the beechmont/ 8 mile location ) called Jamie ( at the Ohio pike location ) and in his words, " (she's like), ooohhhhhh my goddddddd you rented a car to Natalie. She is the worst customer ever. She lied. Refused payments. And then blackballed me because I went to another location! read more

This location will not rent to folks from out of town unless you have a major credit card to pay with. I just found this out right before I was going to pick up the car I reserved. Would be great if they'd include that information on their website. Otherwise, I would've just rented from the airport. My next trip, I'll rent with Alamo or Hertz. I have recently rented a nice 2019 white Chevrolet Silverado to go to Delaware to pick up my son on December 21st and brought back completely washed with just a slight vacuum inside and had no problems. Then on December 27th came back with same reservation.. only with a different manager whom he claimed to be and whom I've never seen until today.. Turns out I can't rent that same truck because I've had a Florida driver license and using my Ohio insurance card. And yet, we can't rent the same truck again because of my Florida driver license?? Then why rent me a truck last week and then brought it back safely and not a single scratch on it?? Manager whom I first time seen says it's outta his hands and it's tied. Extremely poor customer service. The BACK TIRE COMPLETELY BLEW OUT on the highway we didn't run over anything or overload the car by any means so it had to be from a problem already existent with the tire. My family waited on the side of the road for half an hour for their roadside assistance service to answer (never did) and in that time a stranger pulled over to assist us. Over the next couple of days they were closed and their customer service wouldn't answer. We finally contacted this store when they opened. They told us they'd replace our car and to bring the car we have in. We got there and they didn't have a rental for us. They asked us to wait a couple of hours for the next available rental. This was over 2 hours ago. We are currently still waiting. I will ride a bike across the country before I ever rent from here again. read more

I've rented cars here 3 or 4 times. Every time has been a simple transaction. Staff seems to change but I've never had any problems

My daughter had a wreck Tuesday we called the insurance got it all set up walk in no cars. The girl has all our info says she will call the next day if they get one or not. It is Friday and my insurance adjuster asked if we ever heard about getting a rental absolutely nothing. Last time I had to rent from you guys they met me at the collision center. Huge inconvenience, the girl didn't act like she wanted our business which is fine I'll let my friends and family know about this and to spread the word. read more

Car rental has never been made so difficult at this location in the past month. There used to be two managers that I wished would stay a lifetime, they made renting cars so easy. The one star isn't for the service, or car cleanliness. The poor guys in there now are lost and confused at times. This is one company I wish would leave its employees where they are. read more

These guys are great called in my reservation to rent a vehicle for a thanksgiving get together at my brothers place , told them the dates of pick up an return an how many we're going they picked out a nice Toyota crossover SUV must say I was sceptic all about a 4 cyl.motor going cross country with a heavy payload to my surprise this bad boy not only drove like a Mercedes an quite with all the bells an whistles but the on board computer said at times we got close to 40 mpg. On the highway at the time fuel was around 3.45 a gallon filled up 3 times for a 1156 mile trip very happy with the whole turn out service an quality of vehicle we had, so much so 2 weeks later rented the same type vehicle an went to Florida for some sun an relaxation would highly recommend these guys for your next out of town journey wherever you may go., read more

Today the branch manager Mike at 8401 Beechmont refused to rent a car to my wife. My wife was picked up by Enterprise at VW dealership. We were to rent a car because ours was in for service. My wife and I are a same sex couple of 14 years and have been using the same credit card and bank account for same amount of time. Mike refused to rent my wife a car and refused to look at proof of joint credit card from bank that was sent directly to Chris. This left us without a car and me stranded at work to find a ride. I have been renting from this particular Enterprise for the 23 years I have been in Cincinnati. I will not rent from them an further as Long as Mike is there. I will also stop recommending them to anybody personally or work related. Very bad service from them along with the discrimination. read more

Clean car and great price. Nothing fancy but basic full size transportation. Low weekly rate with unlimited mileage. Used for business trip and did not want to put the miles on my personal car. read more

This was a Corporate/Business rental for a van. We were running late due to unforeseen circumstances. We tried to call them while we were on our way to their office but we kept getting a "please hold" recording because no one was answering their phone. Then the recording said that they were closed. (We were about 2 blocks away at this time.) We arrived 1-1.5 minutes late. There were still other customers being helped inside and the doors were unlocked. The female employee absolutely REFUSED to help us stating over and over that they were closed. She also stated (lied?) that a "walk-in" had already rented the van yet there were two other vans still parked in the lot. I couldn't believe the look on her face......is this "The Enterprise Way"? read more

Rented a Suburban for a business conference in Chicago - six people traveling from Cincinnati to Chicago, and needed space for them + plus luggage. I made the reservations about six weeks out. About one day before, I rec'd a phone call from them, asking if I still needed a Suburban as they were out of Suburbans. They said they had a Dodge Durango (? - not sure about the Dodge name) - seven seat belts. I said that would not work as it was too small. I was quite concerned. I even stopped by the office to talk with them. I already drive a Toyota Landcruiser, so I thought I was going to have to just take my Toyota Landcruiser and squeeze everyone in. On the rental day, I rec'd a phone call early in the a.m. saying that they had located a Suburban at the airport location, and they were going out to pick it up. So while I had a few anxious moments, Enterprise came through with the requested SUV. Loved the Suburban - held six people comfortably and plenty of room for the luggage in the back. Great way to make the five hour drive to Chicago. read more
