I reserved a car on line to pick up at noon on a Friday. No where did the program respond to say no cars were available. I arrived at noon to find they would not have any cars available until Monday, and to check with the downtown location. I then called the number listed for that location, and was told there were cars available, so i reserved one to pick up at 2:00. Arrived to find that none were available. The harried staffer, who was very polite but tired, said that had been happening all day. The person who said cars were available was not even at that location. I am done with Enterprise, and any company owned by the same group. If they do not have cars available, put that up front on the web site. This is NO was to run a business. read more

When I went to pick up my car, it took 3 people to figure out how to get my correct credit card entered into the system. Then when I went to sign the contract, the price was $250 more than my confirmation email. It again took 3 people to figure out how to get the rental price corrected in the system. And to top it all off when I turned the car in at my destination, they gave me a clean turn in. However a few days later I got an email saying Enterprise was filing a damage claim against me for hail damage to the car. It took Enterprise weeks to verify that there were no hail storms while I had the car and that their agent had given me a clean check in report before they dismissed the claim. Enterprise lost a lifetime client, I will never rent from them again. And this particular location should be avoided at all costs. read more

Definitely wouldn't recommend getting a car from here. The assistant manager Derrick is very rude and also hangs up in your face when you call and ask questions involving your money and when you try to call back he'll answer and hang up on you again. Today will mark the fifth time I have rented from Enterprise in the last few months. The service is great and they do pick up and take you back to their service center to sign contracts. They are courteous and efficient. My experiences with Caden, Rebecca, and Zachary were most pleasant and they are glad to answer any questions that arise. If there are problems that need resolution, they are handled expeditiously and without question. Enterprise is the only car rental company that I use and I am proud to recommend them to my friends. The cars are always nice, clean, and are current models. The drivers who have picked me up are prompt and very pleasant. All around, a very thoughtful car rental company with the most professional employees. 'Service after rental' is paramount to this staff and it shows! read more

They had reserved a basic vehicle for me but then called 12 hours later saying the vehicle was unavailable. They wanted to charge me the difference between the vehicle I had booked and the next cheapest. The bill would be $170 more for the rental than what I had been quoted. Talk about a bait and switch. Rented from the downtown Providence Road location a couple of times in the Spring. Hunter and Andi made the experience wonderful! They worked with me to get me in the right vehicle and when I ran into problems Hunter worked it all out. The price was right, the vehicle was right and the local customer service was outstanding! The Palm Beach International Airport location was terrible ~ the representative actually worked to make our experience miserable ~ that gal did not belong in a customer service position THAT DAY for sure ~ she even gave us a vehicle with expired tags ~ good thing we didn't get pulled over! Who knows what awful thing was happening in her life ~ everybody has sucky days, so we tried to treat her like we wanted to be treated: with kindness and respect. But, we just couldn't get her to do her job. Fortunately, if you call the national office, they will work out problems for you when a local office can't (or won't ~ LOL). So I pick up my wife's rental vehicle, covered by our insurance company. The first one we switched because the girls wanted to feel a bit safer in an SUV or pickup after the accident. I go back and swap to a black Chevy Colorado pickup. As I'm heading back to the hospital, I get a phone call from them to bring the Colorado back for an SUV. Why, because they had sold the truck to a customer and accidentally sent me with it. That's not even why I'm giving them 1 star. I'm giving them 1 star, because instead of calling the phone number I supplied them with in the beginning, that they had already called once, they called the wrong number 15x and then decided to list it as stolen. I get woken up to a call claiming a Murano had been stolen. Nope, it's still with me, you have my card on file and the insurance is paying for it. But it was too difficult to fess up to your mistake, instead you put me on a do not rent list. When I bring the vehicle back to enterprise on the last day the insurance company was paying for it, you snag the keys and deny me service so I can't transport my family around. Then the confusion with fixing your mistake, which thankfully you broke to my wife and decided to be honest. I had a card with money, a valid license and the period rented was paid. No stolen car. It would have been much easier to have just called my insurance company and requested my number, since you clearly lost it. Poor management. Horrible communication. Dishonesty. This is absolutely the worst managed group I have ever dealt with. And yes, the car was returned in BETTER CONDITION than you handed it off to me. read more

My first rentals were not bad. The cars were clean and the service was speedy. Due to policy changes they were unable to rent me a car I had reserved on my fourth rental. I understand this isn't their fault and is a corporate decision but appropriate customer service might have been to call me ahead of time instead of waiting until I showed up ready to leave town. I would recommend booking elsewhere purely for reliability purposes, but if you do still choose to book here have a backup plan. read more

I was not able to get the car or something similar to the car i asked for, when i reserved this several weeks ahead of time and personally went by the office to make sure i was able to get the car that was going to fit my families needs. The day i picked up the car i was told i had to choose from what they had, which was either WAY to small or an SUV. We were traveling 800 miles and needed room and good gas mileage. I was then told we have a car being cleaned right now if you want to wait. It was absolutely disgusting inside and Smelled of Cigarette Smoke!!!! We Do not Smoke and my kids complained about the smell the ENTIRE time. We only Drove it in Dire needs and i was charged $331.03 for something that i was NOT happy with, and only used when i had too because of the condition of the interior and the SMELL! I was told by the staff if i didn't like the car i could go trade it out at another Enterprise. Not feasible when we HAD reservations and times to depart for our trip. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! read more

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER. Save yourself the trouble and rent from a different office. The car was delivered dirty and with 12 miles until the empty light came on. A few days after I returned the car, I was charged $100. When I called to ask them what the charge was for, they had mischarged me for the rental insurance (which I had denied upon receiving the car) AND a liability charge. I waited 20 minutes while they looked for my rental agreement which they could not find (worrisome), but they assured me all the money would be refunded on my card. I waited 5-7 days and no refund charge showed up on my card so I called them back. I explained that I was calling about a refund that I had not yet received. Jeff's response was "cool, let me see if my manager got around to that". I am glad that issuing a refund for $100 you wrongly charged someone is of such concern to this company. When I asked to speak to a manager (found out later I was actually speaking to the manager) I was given a 1-800 number to which I filed a formal complaint. I was told someone would call me back shortly. It has been days and I am still waiting on that call. I finally called the office again and spoke to the manager who "apologized" for the mischarge (not for the representative's behavior) in the most apathetic tone I have ever heard and shifted the blame onto the previous manager. Everyone I spoke to in that office struck me as overwhelmingly incompetent. The recording that you listen to when you are on hold states over and over how Enterprise is different "because they treat customers the way they deserve to be treated" but I have found that to hardly be the case. read more

We rent cars from this location about once a month for business travel. First off they need a better location, the parking lot is cramped and difficult to maneuver in. Next, 9 times out of 10 the cars are FILTHY inside. This last experience was so bad I refused the car they gave me (Every seat was stained, the carpets were crusty with a white residue) Even the car I had to settle on still had a big stain on the back seat. read more

I had a great experience with enterprise, I needed to rent a car two weekends in a row and they were so helpful and made the whole process easy and affordable. Horace helped me both times and he was friendly and quick, it took me no more than 15 minutes to check in and be taking off. They have after hour drop off which made both trips very convenient. The cars were clean, comfortable and ran well. They were gassed up and ready to go so I was able to drive to my destination right away. I will definitely come back to enterprise if I need to rent a car again and will be recommending them to friends and family. read more

I rent cars two or three times a year. I think this is the first time that I have rented from this particular Enterprise. I will never again do it and recommend no one else do it either. I made arrangements for my current trip almost 3 months in advance, however the day I go to pick up the LARGE SUV I rented, they didn't have one and tried to pawn off a small SUV on me for cheaper. I needed a LARGE SUV with unlimited miles due to a 4000 mile trip with 2 other large adults and a dog and 2 weeks worth of suitcases per person. It took them another hour to get me a different SUV from another lot cutting into my time and still wasn't big enough for what we needed. But we went ahead and took it since I was scheduled to leave in just a few hours and they gave me a whole 5% discount for my trouble. I get less than 100 miles outside of town and the lights come on for oil changes and etc. I stopped right away at a gas station and we pull the dip stick, EMPTY Totally EMPTY, so I paid for 5 quarts of oil to fill it up and also check the rest of the fluids while I was stopped to find out it also was completely empty of coolant, this stop cost me 45 bucks. there goes my 5% discount. I came back a day early I filled the gas, hand washed the car, took it back to the lot at 2:45 pm on Saturday to find no one there to receive it. I parked it in a safe place where someone else had parked one and turned in the keys. I go by the office this morning to get a receipt since it was on my office credit card, to be told the car is damaged. he took me out and showed me the damage but that wasn't there when I hand washed it Saturday and dropped it off. It looks like someone leaned on it or something and dented in the plastic. No scratch etc just a large dent. So now I have to involve my insurance pay a deductible and all they had to say to me is until it is back in their hands I'm responsible. So anyone could of leaned on it, including him, a skateboarder could of bounced into it being parked in a parking lot. if they are expecting cars in they should have someone there to check them out log them in etc. If I would of not returned it until this morning I would of had to pay extra days and they didn't give me any credit for bringing it back a day early either well because no one was there to check it in. WHAT THE HECK. I will never again rent from these people I will never recommend these people to anyone else and I spend a lot of money yearly renting cars. This one was 900 bucks plus now a 500 deductible. It wasn't worth any of the run around I got or the lack of professionalism on their part. read more

Enterprise is not bad, it is not the best. I rent a Toyota corolla. Car was great and runs good. I rent it from Columbia Mo and want to drop it off at Rapid city SD. Branch at Columbia was good but it was not good at all at Rapid city. They didn`t do their job well. This car was big and I reserved an economy. Although I did that, next day they told me they don`t have it even they called me before that to confirm my reservation. Another problem with this branch I had was about service light of car. On day the light turned on. So I took it to office and ask them to fix it. (apparently it only needed oil change) but they told me that they had no one to do it and I had to do it myself!!!!!!! Also I took the car for that at no cost but it was not my job!!!!! Another thing, what is with this difference in price of rental in different places? The system was not good but I have to admit that the car was excellent. However it is for Toyota not Enterprise!!! read more

I was rented a car from here and the staff member went around the car to look for damage he showed me one spot on left front. when I returned the car another staff member check it said she seen one spot with hail damage I ask the original staffer to come check the car he said he seen 5 spots of hail so I ask the manager to come look at the car and he said he seen all kind of hail damage, they want me to pay for it I park under a carport and we have not had any hail during the time I had this car.what the heck. never again will they get any business from anyone I know. beware of the condition of the car very closely or you will pay for it. how can you enterprise look people in the eye I would be to ashamed. read more
