Rent vehicles a lot, and use this location because they are close to me. But do have issues frequently. Vehicles are never ready when you have them requested. Given vehicles that are not cleaned well or have mechanical issues. When you call they hardly ever answer. You can sit on hold for 15 minutes and then it'll disconnect. I know they're busy, but this location is poor compared to all the other ones I used to use. read more

Let me start by saying that I initially rented a standard vehicle from Florence SC airport. My experience at that location was fantastic along with the service provided. Unfortunately, the next day I ended up with a nail in a tire so I called the roadside assistance number. They told me I could put the spare on but I had to take it to another location because it was more than 50 miles on a spare. SO... I took it to the Garners Ferry location since that was close. My experience there was absolutely HORRIBLE! They put me in a smaller car with stained seats and it smelled like cigarettes and weed...and cheap air freshener. I thought I would be turning it in the next day so I said I would just deal with it. We'll turned out I needed to extend my rental so I called and told them the situation and asked for another vehicle...or let me pick up the car I had and I'd get the tire fixed. They told me it was in the shop and they wouldn't get it back for awhile and they didn't have any other cars available. I asked them to call the shop to see if it could be expedited and to call me back. Two hours later and no call. I called several times and they wouldn't answer the phone. So I called the 800# and they sent me somewhere else which only had a little compact car. I took it since it was better than what I had. When I turned the car back in at Florence, they told me the place had rented out the original car the same day I was trying to get it back. The Garners Ferry location is absolute s***! I don't recommend anyone use this location unless your looking for a vehicle to transport illegal products! Garbage! read more

Reserved a car the night before. The manager Quinton called me 3 hours before time to pick up the car to say none were available. He then called 30 minutes before closing to tell me a vehicle smaller than what I requested was available. I had no choice but to take it because I had to leave that morning. I checked with the airport and a suv was available with another company. I returned the vehicle which I had for less than an hour because the enterprise agent at the airport told me the fee would be waived because of enterprise's negligence. The next day not only did Quinton tell me he would not waive the fee, but also told me I would be charged for a full day because I took the car off of the lot. It was very unprofessional and I will never use enterprise again. read more

I have been a loyal customer of enterprise for over 10 years especially in North Carolina and South Carolina areas. Today I went to the 7611 Garners Ferry site to pick up my rental and was asked for several documents that have never been requested from me before. The reason that I'm so upset is because I normally receive a confirmation call but I did not this particular time which has left my family and I scrambling for a vehicle for our trip. FYI !!! In the future you need to always call your customers to confirm their reservations so that if additional info is needed it can be advised and confirmed on the call!!. Who the heck normally drives around with utilities bills in the car especially when you're in a whole different state from where you reside??!!!!! read more

We rented a car on base at Ft Jackson after being given the run around by two other rental companies at Columbia airport. The vehicle we rented was very clean and in great condition. We were also able to return it at a different location near our hotel. After return, Will gave us a return ride to our hotel along with a history lesson in the region. Great service with a smile. I had a car rented for me through the dealership where I purchased my car while in the shop for a possible defect. I was given an older model compact car, with 38000 miles on it, It had stains all over the seats to the point that I had to cover them. I have no idea what the stain was, but really Enterprise? You should take a little more pride in your customer service. If that's the best you can do, I won't be using your service for my personal use in the future. Pam especially for her insight when there was some challenges to my funding for an extension. Everyone was understanding and even made the transition to a more accommodating vehicle happen despite there being a low inventory at that time (the early bird definitely caught the worm). The convenience of being near my residence is quite an added plus. This location will definitely be my go-to when needing a car rental, especially since I got my credit card activated. I am very pleased with Enterprise Rent-A-Car's excellent customer service especially with the one on Garners Ferry Road. The manager and his team are exceptionally professional and genuinely care about their customers' needs when it comes to renting a car. I would like to point out especially the interaction I had with one of the assistant managers who took the time to handle a personal dispute I had with my rental contract rates. Not only did he resolve my dispute professionally but took the time to explain in detail so that I could have a better understanding of my contract with the rate I was charged.
