We were given a car that was leaking oil and had no antifreeze. Had to rerun for another one! Inside was dirty. Outside was not clean.

The people were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The service was quick but still very personal. The information was more than adequate. Communications throughout the rental period were helpful, informative and relevant. Transportation was provided and timely to and from the pickups. I recommend staying away from Enterprise and specifically the 2638 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC location. They have extremely poor customer service and don't value local customers who keep them in business. I made a reservation with Enterprise over one month ago to take my family out of town for vacation and I was supposed to pick up at noon. I got a phone call at 9 a.m. three hours prior to my pickup from Enterprise informing me that they canceled my reservation due to the Master's Golf Tournament. WOW. So, they ruined my whole trip due to their corporate greed. They have definitely shown me that they don't value my business or any local customers business and have forgotten who keeps them in business when the Master's Golf tournament is not happening. Lack of care or concern on their part is why companies go out of business or have to shut down locations. I am hoping the local community feels the same way and causes the location in which I reserved my vehicle to go out of business. They are customers at someone's business, and I hope one day that they are treated as poorly as they treat others. I won't give up on Enterprise as a whole but I won't give that local branch any of my business. Such a disappointment! read more

went to pick up my rental car today and was told because I needed a vehicle with 6 seats instead of 5 seats I would need a credit card. I guess cash and my debit card are no good at this place. went to this location one saturday morning with my ole man to switch cars (long story) they were short staffed and the young lady and gentleman was outside washing cars with their nice corporate style outfits!! they were trying really hard and was swamped! people was pulling up trying to rent cars, some cars weren't returned. I picked up a car that was suppose to be paid for by Gerber collision and when I returned the car in I got charged over $800! The manager stated he would take care of it and never did anything to correct the issue. I believe they waited too long to charge the number given by the collision company and then stuck me with the bill. This should have been handled better. read more

Enterprise Corporate states a service animal is allowed uncrated in the vehicle. What they don't say is they will charge you over $200 in fines for "deep cleaning" if they see pet fur. Clearly they need to elaborate. A service dog is not allowed uncrated because any lab, shepherd, or retriever, the most common service dogs, will shed. The are not ADA friendly and resulted in a costly penalty for being disabled. Shame on you, Enterprise! read more

Burned again by this location today. I rented back in March and setup an account, as I was told that if I setup an account, renting in the future would be quicker because all initial documents would be on file. Well, I reserved a car one week ago for today. I go to pick it up and they ask again for my ID (no problem) and two bills to prove my address/name. I happened to have a DirecTV bill on me, but that didn't suffice, for they needed another bill such as a utility bill. Again!!!! I was told in March that if I setup an account I would only need to provide such documents once, as they would stay on file for future rentals!! So I had to call my wife to come back and pick me up from this location! Enterprise Rent a Car flat out sucks! read more

I felt like a criminal. No other car rental agency has EVER asked me for three names and phone numbers in case they couldn't reach me on my cell. They also requested that I pay for "required" insurance (due to my insurance not having comprehensive coverage), when the car was to be charged to the dealership which was repairing my car. The quality of the cars I was rented were disgusting. Someone ran into the back of my 2016 Honda Civic so their insurance paid for my rental here. First, the only thing they had available in their entire lot was a Town and Country minivan. I am single with no kids and this was not at all comparable to my car. I was later put into Dodge Dart. This is more comparable to my car but it was extremely dirty and dinged with scratches on every side of the car. This Enterprise just made my entire experience of getting my car fixed more miserable. I don't keep my own car dirty. Why would I want to be rented a nasty one? And the saddest part is that the staff didn't see a problem with it. They were just tired of me calling. read more

Shady business...Shady agents Don't go here, the agent tricked me into additional services that I did not request.; it was my fault for trusting the agent. Make sure you read over your contract carefully before you initial/sign it! They are more interested in getting bonuses for having you sign up for unneeded services than providing honest/good customer service. Will not go here again. read more

I rented a car from this location a few months ago. Then a couple of weeks ago I get a call, email and letter from Enterprise saying that they have come to believe I had been in an accident but don't owe anything because I purchased the extra insurance and they want me to answer some questions and fill out an incident report. I WAS NOT IN AN ACCIDENT AND THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE CAR. I let them know that via email and voicemail and they are still calling me. I don't know what kind of scam they are running but DO NOT RENT A CAR from these people. This is just shady. And if they really thought I did get in an accident, why did they wait 3 months to contact me? read more
