BUYER BEWARE! They'll charge you $45 to fill up a small sedan it would normally cost less then $30 if you agree to the prepaid gas. Even if you only use a 1/4 tank! TOTAL RIPOFF!! My gut told me not to use an airport location, the hassle and extra money wasn't worth it, but my tired from travel toddler made it necessary. I made a reservation through my company's perk website/agreement with them on my phone (FOR EASE) only to go to the counter and have Alfredo not be able to find it. This always happens at ERAC even when I use them just to get my car repaired which is super irritating. The manager (who's info you can see in my photo) could see I was getting frustrated and came in to handle the situation. Alfredo was going to charge me $150 more than my reservation and didn't have my information input correctly. (Seeing I was dropping off at another location this was very important.) The manager upgraded me to a vehicle ready then and one of the female coworkers assured me and gave me a piece of paper with his information and said to call if I needed anything. I guess they partner with National Rental as well because when a call was made to extend my rental as they we're informed could be expected, I got no one. Thank you to the nice folks at Enterprise for their excellent customer service. I always rent from Enterprise but today I had a last minute need and they were sold out. I rented from another agency who would not serve me without a mask. I had lost mine and that agency said they did not have a disposable one to give me. Had a reservation made (and paid) a couple wks ahead of time - had to get my DL renewed after making said reservation. Go to pick up my rental at the airport and because I'm out of state, they do not accept the temporary paper DL, even with me still having my old license. HORRIBLE BUSINESS! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF! 0 STARS!!!! Once I returned my car (which had NO damage) they said there was a, "chip in the windshield" and proceeded to charge me for the REPLACEMENT OF THE ENTIRE WINDSHIELD. The incident report it also states that, "they tried to call the customer," so I checked my phone log and I had no missed calls. Also, one of the tires had low pressure since the time I rented the car and I had to keep putting air in it. They also proceeded to charge me for a nail that was in the tire. I went to the airport to get the documents needed to file an insurance claim and they COULDN'T EVEN GIVE ME A COPY OF MY RENTAL AGREEMENT. These guys are HORRIBLE!!! Got in on a late flight. They gave me a lemon. Trunk wouldn't close. Manager came out and played with it. Closed. Then we put our luggage in and it wouldn't close. What a mess!! There was a car there that would have been perfect and they wouldn't give it to me -- probably saving it for a friend... They gave me a truck but were indifferent to my concerns that I can't store my luggage anywhere where it can't be seen from outside the truck and I'm worried about break-in's at National Wildlife Preserves we're visiting. On Day 2 this sordid saga continued. I came back again to return the truck and the process was Sooooooooooo slow. They wouldn't give me the new VW Jettas they we're handing out to others. Had to wait forever for an older Altima. No sense of urgency!! Avoid these guys like the proverbial plague or waste much of your trip sitting around waiting for service here with an indifferent staff!!!! read more

The absolute worst service ever! I'll never rent from the Corpus Christi Airport location ever but the Enterprise location downtown miraculously was able to help while this location refused! I even talked to the manager and she refused to honor what the corporate office told me about renting with a debit card and a water bill for a one-way trip. Downtown was happy to rent us a white corvette for the one-way trip at an excellent rate. Don't waste your time at the airport location until the management changes! read more

When we arrived, the Enterprise desk was closed, but the National/Alamo ladies took care of us. We weren't sure what to expect since we flew in on Thanksgiving, but it was a quick and friendly process. Ditto with the return. One thing I will suggest is doing the pre-pay... Arrived with a confirmed reservation for a specific vehicle that would fit our snowboard bag - on Christmas weekend. The desk worker was chatting casually with a co-worker when I walked up. She states - I see your reservation, but we don't have a vehicle for you. All the cars we have are for later reservations - She attempted to call a manager, but stated nobody was available because of the holiday weekend. She offered no apology, did not seem remorseful or in the slightest bit concerned that we wasted an hour trying to get through to corporate. We had to goto a different company and pay a much more expensive walkup rate. This ruined our evening, and we missed family time during the holiday. Really disappointing and unprofessional. Desk girl stated they were too busy to notify me that they had run out of vehicles, even tho when I arrived - she had no other customers, and she had made no effort to arrange an alternative company for us. I made a reservation for August for compact car. my receipt that I got in email confirmed a price of $88. on july 26, i check my reservation on their website and the price has tripled to $240. when I call them to ask why the price went up, they said "well we do that if demand goes up". I said "what's the point of confirming a price with a reservation" and they said "there really isn't one. it just holds a car but we can always change the price after you have already made the reservation". This is what happens when you live in places without trains, etc. Rental car companies can be predatory or rip off consumers. Terrible and unethical business practices. read more

The airport rental attendant was very professional. However when I arrived in Austin I had a very low tire. Then i called the nearest location and they refused to bring me a replacement. They told me I had to get it fixed myself!! The closest NTB didn't have an appointment till the next morning. When I called the fleet service road side assistance they were closed for the evening. Thank goodness I found a local wal mart tire service to fix the tire. The whole situation with Enterprises very stressful. read more

I stated I had a reservation and that is when the asst mgr Robert Stroot was very rude and raise his voice in speaking to me telling me no cars were available. Cody was cheerful and worked hard to get me in and out of the airport so I could get on the road. My only negative comment is that my car charger was stolen by one of the car attendants. I called after realizing I left it in the rental car and was told no car chargers had been reported in the car I rented. So I had to buy a replacement car charger. read more

I rented a full size car at the CRP airport on 04/17/15. Returned it in Austin on 04/25/15. They gave me the choice of several vehicles when I arrived at the counter. I went with the Ford Fusion. The car was spotless inside/out, ran great and was very comfortable, lots of trunk space. The agent (female) that checked me in was very helpful, fast and helped me with any questions I had. The rate was very fair for a one way in a nice car, I booked it a month or so in advance which I think saved me some $. When I returned the car to Austin (airport) it was busy, but within 5 minutes a check-in agent was at my car and I was quickly on my way to my flight. This is the worst car rental place in Texas. I have had issues with Enterprise for the last 6 months. Noone in this company cares about customer service. Please do not use Enterprise Rental services. I have had a claim that after 6 months can not be honored by my insurance company because if the incompetence if their employees. I truly believe that they intentionally slow played all my paperwork so my claim would not be paid. There was a timeframe I had to meet and because I did not receive the proper information I am now stuck with a 1400.00 bill for a windshield. Read the reviews online. I had some issues getting out of Texas due to weather, and Southwest was kind enough to get me a flight out of San Antonio (2 hours from Corpus) ... I called Enterprise, they told me no problem to call the Corpus airport in the morning as a courtesy to let them know. When I did that and they told me no, I could not do it and wanted to charge me $700. I would say they were rather rude and I vowed never to use Enterprise again. read more
