First thing to know, because enterprises booking system allows to book without having inventory, you might not get the car you booked. Ridiculous, but thats why the prices are competitive and its most definitely not the employees fault. That being said, we rented a car which was not available, and were upgraded for no additional cost. Adam and Hakimah were super friendly and really did everything they could to make sure we were happy with what we got. THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD! RUNNN!!!!! This company will do anything to keep your deposit and charge you extra money and harass you for months after the incident. I got into an accident and it was the other persons fault. Her insurance covered the rental and the insurance for the rental because my insurance didn't cover it. I sent a declaration over to progressive and enterprise and enterprise still keeps billing me instead of progressive. I'm very very irritated and pissed off. I've talked to Briar the manager 10000000x and unfortunately he is no help. He can only send it over to corporate. Thank god he knew progressive was suppose to pay it and gave me my deposit back! Now I have an outstanding balance of $500 at enterprise because they don't know how to bill the correct people!!!! Get it together enterprise!!!!!! What does corporate even do all day!? Oh and I forgot to mention they harass me for the money! Calling me everyday and if I don't answer they call my mom's phone. How about you call progressive because they are the ones that owe you the money. And your manager at enterprise knows that. I travel frequently for work and often rent cars without any issues. Unfortunately, my experience at the Delray Beach (Military trl) Enterprise location was a major disappointment. Despite booking 10 days in advance, I received a call only 20 minutes before my scheduled pickup, informing me they had no vehicles available. When I asked if they could check other locations, they simply told me to contact customer service and then hung up. Customer service couldn't assist since the reservation was managed by the branch, and they promised a territory manager would reach out within a few hours. That call never came. In the end, I had to call another office and found a vehicle myself--essentially doing their job for them. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. When I read in my car two weeks before the Fourth of July on a Friday, I extended one week in on that Friday before the fourth, they did not tell me that they were closed... so when I called on the Fourth of July to return my car, I found out they were closed. When I drove by the gates were locked. Which prevented me from returning my car. I called the national customer service line and they said this is totally wrong and that they would extend my car rental till the next day. When I got to the car rental, the next day, I spoke with the manager-and he said we're gonna have to charge you for the additional day and he continued if we refund it for you, we have to refund it for everybody who had to return their car yesterday." I said, yes, you should! They were wrong! . Needless to say, I was very upset. And I have still not yet to receive my refund. They cut you off and then try to "help" you, if they would allow you to fully finish explaining yourself may be then they could help. This location is off of military and Atlantic ave, in the heart of Delray Beach which is within Palm Beach County. So sad this place has turned sour. I use to recommend this location but not only would I recommend ANYWHERE else I would highly advise you just take a few moments to read other recent reviews. This location was so nice and helpful and actually tried to assist you. Definitely not the situation anymore. :( I recommend the owner of this location takes his time properly training the staff how to be nice, allow the customers to speak without interruption and provide real customer service. FYI - you DONOT need a CC to drive a motorized vehicle you need a driver license. To rent a car you need a CC. Something as simple as this, they couldn't even understand. If I was able to give zero Stars that's exactly what i would choose I rented my second car from Enterprise Delray Beach, turns out to be a disaster. Upon returning the vehicle on my lunch break march 10th of 25 I was in a rush, I forgot several expensive items in the trunk, a weekend later I realized after going to get dressed and noticing that I didn't have any of my items, now what really bothered me is that I work literally Three doors down on the same plaza from Enterprise and neither one of the staff took the initiative to stop by and let me know I left my personal items in the trunk of the rental car, after stopping by the following Monday and bringing it to their attention I was told my items was not retrieved and they will review the cameras. What became more shocking, I gave them a couple hours to review the camera and went back. the branch manager proceeded to tell me they review the camera and the cleaning employee did not open the trunk so the car was rented without being fully inspected, at this point I am furiously disgusted with Enterprise so I called customer service and reported everything and express my dissatisfaction as a loyal customer, and the incompetence only gets better, they only sent an email to the branch just explaining everything that I explained to them according to the branch manager. no sympathy no empathy no concern or regards even though they have a lost and found policy. The Enterprise in Delray Beach on Military Trail the Chick-fil-A of the rental car industry! Short story: I started at a different location which unfortunately didn't have cars. I called the next closest location (Delray) and was greeted by Kelvin, he was at the time working with someone and asked if I could allow him to finish up so he could provide the same time and attention for my needs. Just based off the phone call I knew he was going to provide great service so I decided to go to the location and yes he did actually return my call when he finished with his then client, however, I was already in route! Not only am I absolutely happy with the service I received personally but during my time spent at the location I witnessed Kelvin maintain the same level of service for every single customer that walked through the door. Ok, my first time renting a car here was awesome, but my last two times have been a DISASTER that has forced me to drop this to a 1 star rating and would probably give it a zero if I could. I will not be back for a fourth visit as the other Enterprise locations are far better than this teeny-tiny location. Where do I start (this could get very long if I cared more) - this location should either be closed immediately or moved to a much larger and better location with more cars, more staff, and stop trying to add an enterprise location inside every strip plaza. It is far better to have a large store that can accommodate the obvious high demand for this area than to have a bunch of tiny satellite branches. A few months ago I reserved a car here and when I went to pick it up, it had a flat tire (seriously a flat as a pancake tire) and they did not have a replacement, so they shuttleded me in a white van with a front seat that was wet from the driver leaving the window open, thus my pants and undies were now soaked, to the other location on US1, but when I got there, the car had a dent in the back so the trunk would not open and guess what they had no other cars, so I just went home and cancelled the reservation. Just a few days ago, I ordered a SUV and when I got there the car smelled like smoke and I could not take it as my allergies will drive me crazy and who the hell smokes in cars these days and why was this not checked. So they had me drive a red Hyundai to another location 4 miles north and guess what this car smelled like cat-piss. I kid you not, I had to drive with the windows open just to avoid gagging. At least when I go to the new location I received a newer Jeep Cherokee without any issues. The problem with this location is that they run on a skeleton staff with skeleton inventory so they NEVER have any backup cars and will ship you to another location. Thus, avoid this and go to the airport or the location in Boca near FAU as those are far better locations. read more

I should of checked reviews before coming here.... Lets start this off by saying that I've rented from Enterprise for at least 6 years now and I've never had an issue. Always great customer service. THIS LOCATION however treated me like I was another number. When I bought my rental back I was told that there was a scratch on the back bumper that was not there when I rented it. This "mystery" scratch would need to be reported through my insurance and my 500 deductible would be charged on my account. I protested, explaining that there was damage mentioned in that area when I rented the vehicle but the manager of the store only replied "It wasn't in our notes, so....". Maybe the staff should take more caution with expecting each vehicle before its released to customers??? I'll never rent from these guys again. read more

I apologize that I cannot give an accurate evaluation of this business at the moment because Yelp requires you to at least rate them with a single Star in order to move forward. There needs to be a different system of giving customers the opportunity to be honest. With that said, I'd persuade Rate this location a 0 !!! If it could be negative I would jump on the review score. I would personally suggest not using this facility. I have had my entire bank account become screwed up even though my insurance coverage would take care of the vehicle. First and foremost the lack of integrity of the staff is obvious. I'm not the first to bring this to light but, they guilt you into getting their extended insurance coverage which is unnecessary . Another location actually has documented insurance companies that if you have them your not obligated o purchase their additional coverage. They never explained that at this location. My original deposit for the vehicle is understandable but, this location took it upon themselves to debt my debt card 7 times in a 3 day period. Basically with holding $1,183 dollars in my bank account causing get hardship to my family. After calling, over and over and over I finally received a refund of my money but my vehicle that was in repair was completed but I couldn't afford to get it because my money was not refunded until approximately 3 weeks later. So my vehicle is done, waiting for me to pick up but because the lack of urgency by the company caused me to have to rent another vehicle. Causing more of a hardship but, for a company that's so big and supposedly family own are not following their companies mission statement. I'm over all of The miss representation, deception, and lies. The Manager never reached out to me. At this point it doesn't matter. I had to visit the location and was created by a " hey how are you today?" But both employees were playing on their phones not even acknowledging me face to face. Unprofessional at best. One of the two employees was the manager. His demeanor and attitude was as I will say in my opinion that of a High school kid. He didn't care. I expressed my serious concerns of the money being " played around" in my own word. He wasn't professional at all. That all I can say about that. I would stand clear of this location. Because of all these issues I'm sill in different vehicle from the same company, different location, different regional manager I was told. As it stands today, I still cannot not get my vehicle that's repaired because of the many different debits to my account, I received 2 credits but to late in ordered to pick up my car. Calling the call center seems to be a joke also because the area manager said she just heard about it last week. I called approximately 3 weeks ago. Maybe 2. So now I'm waiting for the other area manager to call me but, it going into the weekend, Christmas is next week so , looks as if it's going to be over a month before I can get my vehicle because of the lack of Caring. This situation is not going to be just displayed here. I am in the process of contacting other companies to give fair warning to other customers who need to be warned and not taken advantage of by this company. Insurance company made arrangements with them, had I read the earlier reviews which are consistent with my experience, I would have never used this location. Stay away if you are relying on them to pick you up. My mom who is 78 years old had a voucher for a 3 Day free rental because the last time that she rented from them they made a "mistake" and overcharged her $20 a day for a rental when her car was in the shop. This time I went with her to use the free voucher and have it to the agent. The agent put the voucher on the back desk and said " I can't apply the voucher now it needs to be applied when you return the car". Upon returning the car the manager Woodja Deshommes said she could not find the voucher and would @check with her employee in the morning". Luckily I made a copy of the voucher. I brought in our copy to show them and they tried to take that copy. I refused and she demanded to stamp void on our copy, which I also refused to allow her to do. Called her again the next day to see if she spoke to the employee and she said since I would not give her our copy she would not talk to the employee and hung up on me. I called her back and asked what her issue was and that you don't hang up on customers. She said she needed a copy so she could "investigate". I tried 6 times to fax them a copy and line was busy. I took a copy of the voucher back into the location. I never heard from her again and attempted to call 3 more times and when I identified myself was hung up on all 3 times. My mom received her credit card bill and sure enough she was charged for the 3 day rental. Currently disputing the charge through credit card company. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this location. I have rented numerous times from other Enterprise locations with never another issue. This manager should be fired or the location closed! He did a very poor job communicating with disgruntled customers and said things like "you need to slow down" holding his hands up, and walked out the front door while I was talking to him. Got the conformation, went the next morning to get it and I was told that there were other people who rented minivans months before I did and that they would be taken care of first, I was also told I would have to wait until 2:30pm when my reservation was made for 9:00am. Do not rent at this enterprise location. They have the worst customer service. Andrew the branch manager was completely indifferent to our needs. Our family had a horrible house fire recently which also partially burned my car, requiring me to get a rental. I had already had a rental pending the adjuster coming out to assess the damage so I was simply coming to switch out the vehicle under the the insurance claim number. First when I arrived I was told that they had no vehicles and that I could take the compact car and get it switched at the airport. Shortly after I was told that a car was returned and an SUV was available. Then we were told that the Ford Escape SUV vehicle we were just told we could have was being given to another person that just arrived and they would give us a Nissan Rogue. Then we told 15 minutes later that they were giving the car to another renter and that basically because ours was an insurance claim it was a priority. Then we were told we were being changed to a Ford Fusion. Now mind you, the branch manager Andrew Not ONCE came to apologize for the inconvenience. We were there for almost 2 hours and 5-6 families who came after us were serviced and gone. The environment was disorganized and chaotic and should never be allowed to operate under such poor leadership. The professional thing that Andrew should have done was come to us to apologize for the inconvenience but he never spoke to us. I had to ask him directly what was taking so long. He just seemed not to care and was dismissive and aloof to how to rectify the situation with no sense of urgency. Instead he allowed his clerk Edithlyne do all the back and forth. She seemed niced but she's limited by the lack of direction by the branch manager. It was not about the car, it was the constant changes which reflects the inefficient manner in which this branch operates. I have rented at the Federal Hwy location off 10th Ave in Delray and they were busy too but much more customer service friendly.
