This is not specifically because of one place but Enterprise as a whole. This company is absolutely terrible. Just got charged for tolls that happened over a year ago which I'm sure have late fees and other things attached to it. This is also not the first inconvenience I've had with them. This company should not be able to conduct business. Bunch of thieves. I never have problems with anyone else but this trash can of a company. Rented a vehicle in deplorable condition inside and out, didn't have time to wait around for another vehicle to return, was assured that the return location would be open on Monday September 2nd until 12:30 pm. Was at return location at 7:30am no one was there nor where they open that day! parked vehicle and dropped keys in the box. Received email with charges for three days, only rented for 2 days, have called 4 times and no return calls or emails. I wish I could put ZERO STARS. HORRIBLE AND ABSOLUTELY RUDE EMPLOYEES, including the manager. Zero customer service. Zero maintenance and quality control on their vehicles. Car had check engine light driving only 30 minutes, and car distributor started failing and car wouldn't start. I missed my brother's graduation. DO NOT RENT HERE. Don't bring your car back to this location unless you want to get harassed! Upon return of our perfectly great rental car, a young latino lady attending the return desk, took out a credit card to check our tread! Why? Then she tried to give us some bogus damage report that neither she nor we could actually see (because there was none).. She literally tried to shake us down! Hoping for a bribe? We stopped her right there and said this isn't right and took our car back to a different location where normal, nice reps processed our return. read more

Very small and unorganized lot and building. Only one guy inside that was very upset with the day. Seemed to be arguing w customers in person and on the phone. In all fairness, he was extremely short handed and probably has been for months. Can't blame him, but hope this place can get him some help and much needed relief. read more

Returned car completed returned inspection with on-site employee with NO damage only to be blindsided with a damage report email the following week. No call , nothing . Some slim shady stuff ! I know the car was returned with NO damage. No success in getting anyone to answer their phones. Finally corporate advises no claim will be pursued . He could have easily had me call the next shop but he could tell that I've been given that answer before. Let's face it, there are very few scenarios when you need to rent a car and you're happy about it. Was it the best experience? No, but neither was the reason I needed a rental. Do I recognize that some of the things that could've gone better are out of their control? Absolutely. If I have to, will I consider using them again? Yes, but cautiously. The office is very convenient on the intersection of University and Ector (opposite from the Aldi). Enterprise offices have decent weekday hours of 7:30am to 6pm, but I really wish they had a short window of Saturday hours. Be mindful that picking you up may be reliant on if the pickup location is closest to them or another Enterprise, which is extra tricky now with the car shortage. I'm making the reasonable assumption that they are under staffed. I've had interactions with this location by phone on 4 separate days, multiple times a day, over the course of a month. Most of those times the hold times were quite long. I spoke to the same gentleman every single time regardless of the day or the time of day. When at their offices he was the only one working the office, checking people in, answering phones, walking people out to inspect and sign off on the cars- and there were 5 customers present and phones ringing. I do think he's doing his best. The first time I spoke to this gentleman was over the phone on 7/1/21. My car had been crashed into while parked and my insurance company made a reservation. I spoke to all 3 offices who were sold out until the middle of the following week due to the shortage and the holiday. The gentleman here was the only one to give the helpful suggestion I be put on the waiting list. At the very end of the next day a car was returned to a different office that I was able to snag. On 7/28/21 I realized I needed to take my car back to the shop as the repairs were not correct. Prepared from my last experience, I spoke to this gentleman again, explained the situation and arranged my plans based on their availability. We worked out a time window for that Thursday, 3 days later. I was instructed to call when I was almost at the agreed upon location and they would have a car dropped off to me and have me sign the pad there. I was very happy with that arrangement. Now the day of didn't go as planned and ended up taking 1.5 hours instead of 10 min. I know the miscommunications were partly because this gentleman is working the office, phones and putting customers in cars all by himself. Hell, he probably had someone staring him down when we worked out the details and was only half listening. I'm not angry, but I was extremely inconvenienced and share this to set your expectation when dealing with them. I called halfway during the 2 hour window that was agreed upon to say how far I was from the location. At that time I was told I had missed my reservation and it was implied someone had been at the location waiting on me an hour ago. Strange since nobody called me if that did happen, and you know, that wasn't what was discussed. I was told that now I would need to have the shop call them when I arrived and they would instead send someone to pick me up and take them to the office since they didn't have the 2 people to make a drop off work. I was annoyed at the miscommunication because I was so careful about the arrangements, but compliant because the staffing issue is understandable. Except that I got very hot and cranky waiting for an hour. Long story short they went to the wrong shop location first and instead of calling to see where I was, returned to the office until I called again 30 min later and a 5 min hold. Their explanation was that the location they went to is the one that store is partnered with and the one I was at was partnered with a different office. I'm sure they were trying to explain the mistake so I wouldn't feel abandoned, but with the 3 offices shuffling people around due to the shortage that's a moot point and not up to the customer to know! That's up to Enterprise to adapt to or communicate. I mean I told them the exact location, including street name, on Monday when making the arrangements,. If that was the real problem instead of not listening, he would've said so on Monday or made me work with that office instead, right? Anyway they were apologetic and the person who picked me up was very friendly and tried to make the ride more enjoyable. The handoff of the car was super fast and not very detailed, I understood his need to rush. The car itself was problematic and I anxiously retrieved my car from the shop the following Monday in part because the rental was acting odd and I worried I might be stranded. I didn't call to report it due to the shortage, any other time I would've given them the chance to make it right and switch cars. I know from the previous experience that Enterprise has nicer/more comfortable vehicles, but this one needed maintenance and indicated impending power issues that made me nervous. read more

I have been trying to contact this location for a week now. I was in an accident and have to use enterprise, and this location is the only one that will bring a car to the shop. I have called right at opening, midday, at the end of the day, and so much more. They don't answer and I either sit on hold for forever, to which the system hangs up, or I get transferred somewhere else and they can't help me. They just say that they have put my information in the system and the location will contact me. Definitely do not recommend unless you're someone who doesn't work an 8-5 job Monday-Friday, as online it also says they're closed on the weekends so I can't even go up there to speak to someone in person. read more

This Enterprise location is great. I have had three occasions to get a rental car in the last few months related to my own or families cars having issues. Luckily we met James Johnson at Enterprise. He has been pleasant and helpful every time. It's nice to have a pleasant experience when so many things in our day can be so difficult. when I went everything was chaotic and getting the car was difficult. but the reason this is one star is because they blatantly lied to me about the cost of the insurance. if you say it will be $20 on top of the deposit, that means I will be charged $20. I was renting through insurance and paid $240. that's a big difference. By the way that it was worded, there is no way that this was an accident. I had the worst experience with enterprise on university drive, Denton Texas. The man working the desk at 11am to 12:00 noon. He told me what was needed and he kept changing conditions to rent the car. I brought insurance verifying address, brought electric bill verifying address. He then told me my boyfriend could bring in proof of utilities and Id. We made a trip to electric company to show proof of residence. We made 2 trips to enterprise. I called them multiple times. The last time we went in they claimed we couldn't use my debit card. We are both mature people with jobs and this guy obviously did not want to rent us a car. Unfortunately both of my cars broke down. It was the worst experience in my lifetime. read more

Do not rent from Enterprise. They billed me for a broken key remote. I didn't notice the key because the key was already in the ignition. I also got billed for hail damage $1,000 because I just didn't see it. :( I appealed and now they say they call all small dents hail damage. So I have no way to prove. They say it could been from rocks. I only had the car one day! It was not drivable the wheel barring went out and was not able to go over the speed of 35. read more

Pre-COVID, my hsband and I used Enterprise exclusively for our consulting business. Each of us was renting a car each week. We only bother with one personal credit card. Our AMEX was compromised, with a new card being shipped to us. We need to rent a car today, and they said we must have a driver license in Texas. I told them we own homes in Texas and Colorado and travel between the two. They also said They need utility bills in one of our names. Our sons live at our Argyle house while attending college, and they pay the utilities. So much haggle, after we have done so much business with Enterprise. They can look at either of our accounts, but they said anyone can become a member of their rental club and they don't care about that. Now that I am employed instead of being a consultant, my employer has contracts with Enterprise and another car rental company. We will never rent from Enterprise again. The points will expire, but we rest easy in knowing Enterprise, National, and Almao will not make another dime from either of us! read more

Rented a vehicle from here and the door had a lock malfunction issue that happened twice. The first time I though maybe I just locked the door (even though I wouldn't do that). The second time we heard the doors lock on their own as we closed one door to open another and my 6 month old baby was locked in the car as we were loading him in - this is Texas and the high was 103. With help from many strangers, we frantically called everyone we could - including enterprise. Enterprise was so unhelpful and finally gave us the number to their emergency roadside assistance (who was also no help). It was a nightmare. After all of that, I called them again and the branch manager (Emily) basically said that it was a malfunction/safety issue with Dodge (the automaker) and not them. She suggested I contact dodge with any issues or complaints. She was so nonchalant, uncompassionate, and insensitive. Totally said it had nothing to do with them, refused to pay for the locksmith or do anything to rectify the situation. I was so incredibly shocked by her demeanor and disposition. I had to go to the regional office to resolve it, which was actually very quick and easy, but this locations with the branch manager Emily needs some serious training and also they need to return or report that vehicle. As a mom this was one of the scariest moments of my life, made worse by this location of enterprise. read more

I would give Enterprise a zero if possible. My truck broke down so I need a rental for 3 to 4 days. I created a booking thru Costco Travel and had it set up to pick up a vehicle at 6 pm from the Lewisville Huffines Location. I called to confirm and told them I wished to pay with a debit card. You know what they told me? To use a debit card, they need proof that I am a resident of the city I plan to pickup the vehicle in. They also need to see 2 forms of utility bills to prove that I am a resident. Never before have I heard of a car rental company needing that crap. I had to have someone pick me up and take me to one of their locations in Denton. On the trip there I created a booking for the University Dr location. We got there with 4 minutes to spare before closing. Door locked and a sign saying "This location is closed. We are open at the Ft. Worth Drive location." We drove by it to get to the University location. One would think they would post something about being closed on their site. Seem they don't give a crap about that. We get to the Ft Worth location, door locked and they acted like they didn't see us. They even turned the light off to tell us to go away basically. Well they will NEVER see us again. read more
