I can't say it's only for this location, but this is where my miserable experience began. About an hour down the road, I was instructed to call an Avis number to activate the radio. She told me that the car wasn't set up for it. She told me that I had to exchange the vehicle. She told me that there is one available 2 hours down the road. When I got to the location, they told me that there wasn't a car available with satelliteradio. I had a 15.5 hour drive through Texas and New Mexico with only regular radio. Of course that means nothing but static, and if I was lucky...AM radio. This made for a very terrible experience, and a very long drive. It was everything I could do to not fall asleep during the long drive. Never will I rent from Avis again. Please pass this along to anyone you know, and never accept it when they say that your satellite radio will reset as you get away from the rental location.

When we got the Little Elm, TX location, everyone was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful! Had a hard time dealing with the guy's insurance company about upgrading from a mini car, but the agents did everything they could to help me and even spoke with the insurance company a couple of times! I wish I could remember everyone's name in the office (2 guys and 2 ladies - 5/14/24 - the office manager was Anthony), but they are TOPS (I did buy them Sonic drinks)!! Finally got the Insurance company to upgrade her to a vehicle comparable to my daughter's car (after standing at the rental office for over 2 1/2 hours!).
