Enterprise Rental employees tried to give me a Dodge Challenger when I showed up last week - I had asked for a sedan, not a muscle car. Me: *walks in*, "Hi, I'm here to pick up a car." *Gives my name* Employees: "Oh yeah, we have a fun little sports car for you." Me: "What?" Him: "It's right out there, the Dodge Challenger." I don't know if it was some sick joke or what but I requested a regular full sized car. The website I used to request the car said I would receive a "Toyota Camry, Chevrolet Malibu, or something similar." It was such a surreal experience and I immensely got the feeling that they were deliberately fucking with me. They definitely seemed to not give a shit about my needs as a customer. There were two young guys who worked there - one with short brown hair and one with long (dirty) dark blonde hair and facial stubble. When I asked if they had an SUV, the blonder guy looked straight ahead instead of at me and said, "No, that's the only thing I've got." He and the other guy looked at each other with a knowing look. It's almost like they made a bet that they could convince an unsuspecting customer into a (dark purple) muscle car as a joke. It definitely wasn't funny to me. I'm hearing impaired, so a loud car would not be safe for me. On top of which, I wanted a regular car, not a large sports car. I would not have been comfortable driving it at all. Luckily I had the time and resources to get to another car rental place (more about that below.) Can you imagine them doing this to an elderly person or a person who desperately needed a car to take their sick kid to the hospital? What if I had an emergency? These two clearly are just fucking around and giving Enterprise a bad name. After reading all of the other bad reviews for this location, I can't understand how this location is still open and I am going to call and write Corporate to complain. Hopefully we can get this location Shut Down for Good - the franchise owner of this location must be terminated too for allowing all of this to go on. These men are messing around with serious times in peoples' lives. I said, "I'm going to pass" and walked out. They said nothing, and did not make any effort to help me find an appropriate car at a nearby Enterprise Rent A Car. There is an Enterprise Rent A Car a few blocks down on the SAME ROAD that had "normal" cars and SUV available. I was lucky, and had JUST BARELY enough time to get a ride there and pick up a regular SUV (grey, not purple!) with a quiet motor and a regular steering column etc. I feel very safe in the vehicle I'm driving. So if you need a vehicle, ask for JAKE at 1790 S Broadway. He was incredibly patient and kind, despite the minute that it was a last minute reservation, and nearly closing time. He apologized to me for "having to wait." He seemed exhausted. I told him please not to apologize and thanked him for helping me out at the last minute. He was able to get me a very clean (immaculate) vehicle within 10 minutes or so. The car has no damage, only 11k miles, and drives so well on the road. It's a Mazda Cx-5 for reference and the steering wheel is neither too loose nor too hard. It's been about 10 days since I got my rental and I've had to extend the rental period twice already- Jake made it easy for me to do that. I am definitely going to let Corporate know about Jake and hopefully he'll get a promotion and a big raise soon! Remember, DONT go to the ENTERPRISE RENT A CAR on 351 Broadway!!! read more

Moving to Denver and within 24 hrs my car was stolen. Immediately contacted insurance company and they assigned me to Enterprise to pick up a rental at 351 N. Broadway, Denver, CO 80203. Upon arriving the manager (Matt L.) showed an exceptional level of empathy and customer service which I have not seen at any other rental company. We had a reservation at 12 o'clock on Saturday and we were running late so we pulled in and the guy who works there would not help us and sat in this car for 10 minutes and when I went to approach the car didn't even bother to open the window to talk to me so we were forced to go to another enterprise. Reserved a car for 23 days through Hopper. When we arrived at Denver Airport, we received a text that they had "no cars" so our reservation could not be honored. (Reminded me of Seinfeld; "You know how to TAKE a reservation, but you don't know how to HOLD a reservation... and HOLDING a reservation is the most important part!") They had no options for us at all and suggested my family take a shuttle to their office and "wait to see if anyone returns a car." It was simply unbelievable. Every single person I interacted with was helpful and friendly, and even asked if I was okay after my accident. When the insurance coverage ended and I needed to keep the car for a bit longer while my new car came in, they worked with me to secure a fair and affordable rate. I rent a car on Priceline and went to Enterprise to pick up the vehicle. When we arrived, two employees worked here. I did not take my credit card, so I prepared to use my debit card like before. I provided debit card, local id, local address information, paycheck,utility bill in name...she verified everything. However, a woman name is Rachel asked me provided an ''active insurance declaration page with my name" or prove that I am a staff. I have SSN but I am a student, and I do not have car insurance, so I want to purchase insurance from Enterprise because I remember there are lots of insurance options that I can choose to protect the equal security of both sides. I also had experiences that use the same method to purchase insurance in Enterprise (4300 E Evans Ave, Denver Co80222 ) and rent a car at the end of March 2020. Rachel refused me. SHE SAID ENTERPRISE HAS "NEW POLICY " DURING CORONAVIRUS time. I understood and I said, please show me the NEW POLICY. Then She gave me a document, and I saw the document before. The time on the paper was "effective "11/1/2019". I am very confused? I want to ask another employee, and she tried to interrupt us. The male employee goes out to help another customer, and she told SHE IS MANAGER! Fine, I do not care what position she is. I want to communicate with an honest person. He has no RIGHTS to communicate with customers. When the male employee stood at the front of the computer and prepared to help me, she GRABBED A KEY AND ASKED the male employee to MOVE a car. (WHAT??) She is really weird! Does she know HOW to respect other people? If she gives me a reasonable reason with a healthy mood, I will understand her. However, she is a weird and rude person. I have never written a negative review before but I am shocked at how I was treated by an employee here. A hail storm came through Denver which left Enterprise really low on inventory. I understand that it is difficult to rent out vehicles when you are down cars. This review isn't about the fact they don't have a car for me. The lack of communication and the unprofessionalism on phone calls with Shateek (sp?) have been absolutely shocking. My SUV is in the shop from someone hitting it. On day 3 without a rental, this morning, he called and told me that there were 2 sedans available. I explained that I had work meetings and couldn't get a ride until ~3:30 pm to pick up one of the cars and expressed my concern and asked if I would miss out on a car because of that. I was assured multiple times by Shateek "the later the better" and that by that point maybe even an SUV would be available. He told me to call back at 3:30. When I called at 3:30 pm he said he gave away one of the cars to another reservation and that they lost the keys for the other car so no cars are available today. Multiple times he blamed me for "not taking the original car offered" which wasn't true.. I said I wasn't sure if that a Nissan Versa would work but I can't get a ride there until 3:30 anyways which he said would BE BETTER. When I reminded him that he assured me the later the better because they would have an even better chance of getting me in a car, he snapped back and told me that not having a ride to pick up the car wouldn't have stopped him and he "would have walked there if he had to". Blaming the customer for you giving a car away to someone else and not having the keys to the other one is one of the most outlandish things. He was defensive and fired up the entire conversation. He continually diminished my need for a car and even told me I was "inconsiderate" for being persistent on needing a car because other people might "have kids or are handicapped". This man knew nothing about my situation or why having a car is just as important to me.. what if I have kids? What if I am handicapped? What if I need to go to doctor appointments? Go to work? I was absolutely shocked to be called inconsiderate. During this conversation, as I sought to understand what happened and how this can be resolved he told me he had dozens of calls with other people today who he told weren't getting a car and "none of them were a 10-minute phone call like this one." The entire call he was extremely rude and condescending. I have NEVER experienced customer service like this. I am shocked at how he spoke to me and all the condescending remarks. I have honestly never been spoken to the way this guy spoke to me. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional. There's a way to communicate disappointing news to a customer. I rented a Nissan Altima in Montana to drive to Denver. Each day I had the car, I saw a warning light that the front tire was low. I took it to the closest Enterprise three days in a row and after they filled it up, they explained that the warning light was faulty, and that they could not replace the vehicle. Instead, they sent me (on my vacation) to the only Firestone open on a Sunday to get a new tire, where I was told the wait was at least 2 hours, even though I had an appointment. On 5/19, I was supposed to drive back to Montana, and I had an unhelpful, condescending conversation with roadside assistance personnel as I looked at the now almost flat tire. FINALLY, I found Jake and Adam at 1790 South Broadway, Denver, CO. They were not only sympathetic, apologetic, and very kind...they replaced the vehicle immediately. They were both friendly and professional, and went above and beyond to fix a series of unbelievably inadequate encounters and suggestions, including advising me to drive on an almost flat tire across town to "fill up the tire again." An hour before the pick-up time we received a call that they had overbooked and we no longer had a vehicle to attend the funeral! Driving along peacefully. Minding my own bidness in the right-hand lane. Driving next to me was a very attractive young lady. Or at least I thought she was until she decided to make a right hand turn without looking into her blind spot to see lil' old me. Well, turns out my young negligent auto-wrecker acquaintance was at least insured, and the insurance folks were nice enough not to argue about liability. They gave me a fair repair estimate that included the use of a rental car from . . . yes . . . Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The folks there could not have been nicer. Met me at the auto-body shop when they said they would. Took me back to their place and supplied me with a brand spankin' new Toyota Camry. Later, the shop had to order more parts and the folks at Enterprise were as accommodating as could be to extend the rental period. Brought it back this afternoon, and again they were quick, efficient and friendly. I understand that every experience is unique and that maybe you didn't get the great, hassle-free treatment that I did. Be aware of forceful insurance sale. I am from Canada and has never had any issue renting cars from different agencies. This particular joint requests you to provide a proof of insurance and will take all possible chances to deem your insurance not applicable. Had to call my insurance company and spent 1 hour trying to justify that I have valid car insurance that covers rental cars in the United States. Huge waste of time! From the very beginning, I experienced no lines whatsoever, not even to get on the bus to get to the rental car center. The woman who helped me out was extremely friendly and nice. She was very good about presenting me the possibility of buying car insurance, but not pressuring me. I think she was very convincing and honestly, I was much closer to purchasing insurance from her than the lady who tried to constantly pressure me to buy insurance at another company earlier. I had booked online with a code from the Entertainment Book and I wasn't sure if it went through. When I checked with the girl at the front desk, she smiled, and said, yes absolutely, you will get the discount. I also was unsure if the changes I had made to the rental car checkout time were correct. She also cleared that up for me in no time and made sure it wasn't a problem (I had had problems with this with other companies before). When we checked out the car, she went over it with me to find any scratches or nicks or damages to the car. She let me take my time to inspect it, without rushing me. The car was great the entire time. When I returned the car, it was speedy, the customer service was great, and most of all, they showed that they trusted me. Bottom line: I will rent from Enterprise as often as I can after this experience. I don't care if it costs more, it's worth it. read more

So I came here to Enterprise at 351 Broadway and they were able to get me a MUCH better vehicle, the same day, for a much lower price than the clowns at EZ. BEWARE! Worst rental experience ever. BEWARE! Rented car at 1st and Broadway in Denver for less than 24hrs with a weekend dropoff. Filed a claim against me for hail damage that apparently happened on their lot without my prior knowledge. Would not refund my $150 deposit and said the hail was on "the entire surface of the vehicle". And that the amount owed, (could be in the thousands???), would be determined by the adjuster! We sent someone to inspect damage. There was never any hail that weekend or any visable hail damage to car. No reports of hail that day in Colorado. This screams of a complete scam. The manager and assistant manager, Stephen were extremely rude and shady. LOTS of known fraudulent claims for hail damage by Enterprise. Complete scam. Beware. I have rented a few cars from this location and am grossed out at how dirty they were inside. I was so grossed out that I had to take the car in to get cleaned. My last car had dead bugs, stains on the upholstery, dust everywhere, and something spilled between the seat and it was not cleaned before I took it off the lot. Because this location closes at 12pm on Saturdays I couldn't take it back. I am very disappointed and contacted the corporate office. While the staff is nice, they don't make up for the sheer lack of respect for the customers by not cleaning the cars they pay for. I will not rent from them again. read more

They have the most compelling, cost-effective special $50 dollars can buy. See, these guys do all their business Monday to Friday and realized that they have an issue with an overcrowded lot on the weekends. So they rolled out a 50 dollar weekend special. Any car on the lot (including a Volvo or Cadillac) can be yours for 50 bucks for the entire weekend! Prepaid reservation was confirmed on check-in. Informed desk person rental was set. Tried to up sell me a much more expensive vehicle or I "might not be able to reach my destination" (which I did quite nicely in my 2 wheel drive sedan). Told desk associate I did not wish any of the 4 attempts to up sell me a ridiculously more expensive auto option or package. Was told a CC and signature was needed for incidentals. Foolishly, I did not take time to re-read the entire contract and ended up paying for addition, unwanted, coverage. I have been informed that it is a perfectly legal contract for services rendered with my signature and no refund will be provided. Golf clap to the unscrupulous young man for his brilliant con. I assume there is a direct financial incentive to perpetrate this type of fraud. Travelers who are tired, hassled and put in a position to proofread a contract that has been provided against the customers direct instructions are the perfect mark. The money is relatively trivial in view of a years total travel expenses. The standards of customer service here have fallen to a level of base contempt. read more

This is a solid location to rent a car, especially if you live in the Baker or Speer neighborhoods and are in need for a vehicle for a couple of days. As with any non-airport rental car location, the return process is slow, but that is to be expected when people are not trying to run to a plane. Even with that, the customer service is friendly (if not a little overboard), the cars are clean, and the prices are reasonable with my Geico insurance discount ($30 per day for a full size). This is the story of a man, an enterprise employee, named Andrew, who praised his location for being the best in state and in doing so ruined the customer service and accreditation of said bestness. But the story doesn't start there. Ft Worth was dark and drizzly in the very best way when the three of us embarked towards Denver in our Dodge Ram that we picked up from the Colleyville, TX enterprise location the day before. The day was filled with black cherries, hummus, and a whole lot of caffeine. By four o clock, we had made our way to Burlington when the tire pressure indicator turned on. We pulled over to a love's to fill her up and continue on our way, only to fine that the tire had a big old split and was rapidly losing air. We called the hotline and were told roadside assist would be there in less than an hour. fast forward three hours and we had our guy! Sweetie head old man. The only problem was there was no jack in the truck, and tow trucks dont carry enough jacks to service every different make and model in the beautiful US of A. God bless our stars there was a Love's employee who happened to have what we needed to get the spare on and help us head out on our way. The scoop is this: an old and dry tire should never be ok left on a rental vehicle. Checks should be made, and they weren't which is alright and a situation that we can have grace on. What isn't ok is that there wasn't a jack, and had we been on the side of the road, we would have been stranded with no way to get the spare on except to be towed. Which would be quite the inconvenience as I am here on business. Insert Andrew. The next day (read: this morning), after a lovely cup of coffee and brunch with my two biz partners, I walked into the broadway location where I was greeted with a welcoming smile and a hello by the man himself, Andrew. I wish I could have seen through his facade because boy was I wrong about this guy. I explained to him the above story and asked if I could exchange vehicles. He told me that the best option would be to drive 30 min to the airport and switch it out there. I let him know that I didn't have the hour spent driving plus however long the swap would take in my day and asked if I could have the company meet me somewhere (ya know their tagline? something about the rental company that comes to you) but that was out of the picture. After that, he avoided eye contact so I requested that he looked me in the eye. I told him that the tires of our car were obviously not checked, and there was no jack to change tires. We waited three hours for assistance and had it not been for Love's guy, we would have been stranded. So yes, I was very disappointed in Enterprise as a whole. I almost wanted to walk out in that moment because I had never experienced a reaction from someone who supposedly prided himself in customer service. The scoop is this: This location isnt a team player and they don't care about their customers or promoting a united front. My boy Andrew was all too eager to jump and throw the Texas location under the bus. I do understand that the problem was Texas location's mistake, but as a team, it is Denver location's role to fix the mistake. I dont know, it was just disappointing to see Enterprise view themselves as separate entities rather than one name and one brand. Probably won't be supporting this place again. read more
