I am writing to express our dissatisfaction with a recent rental experience at the Enterprise Denver downtown location. Upon arrival, the office in the B2 garage was unattended. It took half an hour for the sole staff member to appear. Due to severe understaffing, our group of five waited an additional hour only to learn that our reserved vehicle was unavailable. We were then instructed to take an Uber to a different location, resulting in a total delay of over two hours. The return process was equally difficult, as it took thirty minutes to locate the garage entrance. Furthermore, it has been five days since the return and I have not receive a receipt. I have attempted to call the branch multiple times, but the calls go unanswered and the voicemail box is full. This was the most disappointing rental experience our group has encountered. read more

You can't call this location for any service or information. They have all their calls forwarded to central customer service that cannot answer any questions about your reservation or specifics but can only submit a ticket telling this branch to call you, to which they will not respond....even if you put in numerous tickets for the same request. Wow I am really impressed by Enterprise Rent A Car in Denver. I usually rent via Hertz but my experience with Enterprise has been eye opening. Tyler at the reception desk was so welcoming and helpful. The selection of cars was also so much better than at Hertz. The process is also better streamlined; they advice you to check the car and recommend that you do a video. Very helpful as amount of debris I see flying off trucks and trailers or just sitting on the roads is ridiculous. read more

Horrible, HORRIBLE experience. I tried to return a one-way rental here this evening. The address on the Enterprise app is wrong, had to go into the Sheraton Hotel to ask for directions to the garage. There is zero signage to suggest there is an Enterprise inside the garage. I never found the Enterprise but it is supposedly inside the hotel parking lot on level B2 (which you would only know if you read random online Google reviews). I pulled a ticket, entered the hotel garage, looking for B2. However, half of the garage was cordoned off for construction or something and I quite literally do not think B2 exists. All I could find was B3 or B4. Anyway, I drove around for 15 minutes and could not find B2 or any signage for Enterprise, and then had to pay $21 to leave the garage. Completely insane especially for Enterprise which I've had good experiences with in the past and is known for customer service. I ended up bringing the car to another location a mile away in downtown Denver which was much easier to find and will try to get drop-fees waived because of this experience. read more

Read a lot of reviews about terrible experiences here so was worried about the car return. I tried calling several times but it would just ring forever and never got to speak with anyone. We picked up at the Denver airport but returned to this location inside the Sheraton garage. The valet told us how to get to the garage entrance since maps takes you to the wrong location. If you are returning after hours, enter the Sheraton garage off 15th St right before Court and then go to level B2 and follow signs from there for enterprise return. There are spots for rental return, the drop box is in an office on the other side of the elevators from where the return parking spots are at, not the small office right next to the return spots (where we looked first). So many people mentioned how hard it was to find but no one said anything about where it actually was. Hope this helps! read more

Originally had a vehicle reserved at NU car rental. When I showed up they tried to force me to upgrade and had a bunch of bogus add ons that amounted to an additional $1400 . I refused to go with them and called this enterprise and received a nice suv on the spot at a reasonable rate. Excellent service read more

Unless you are staying at the hotel where this location is located, do not rent from them as you will have a very difficult time finding them. It is located in the basement of the shared garage and there are no signs indicating where the enterprise is. The location shouldn't say 1550 court place because the entrance is on Cleveland place. Absolute WORST rental experience of my entire life. I made a reservation over 3 weeks ago for a one way drop off - my destination is over 2.5 hours away. In spite of my having a confirmation email as well as my live app showing that I had reserved a one way car, the agent as well as the area branch manager, refused to accommodate my contracted reservation. They have recently made the decision not to allow any one way drop offs due to recent hail damage on their cars and loss of vehicle use. Yet they do not have the courtesy nor decency to notify their customers. The agent mentioned they are a new business. I can't imagine they will stay in business very long with this kind of service. Unbelievable. I am now left to Uber to my destination and incur far greater expenses than planned. Zero acknowledgment of the flagrant misuse of my time and costs. We rented it at Ford F-150 from the Alamo in Denver Colorado near the airport. I was very pleased with how smoothly the check-in process was. I was definitely impressed that one of the staff advised me that the built-in GPS was not subscribed to by the company thus it did not function so in place of that he gave us a free tank of gas which is no small cost in trucks that size. Luckily we had brought our own Garmin GPS which we take with us and it's a excellent investment. We will definitely use Alamo again. Customer service like that wins me over and I am a loyal customer. read more

I just wanted to share some thoughts with you on our recent reservation. The process of checking in was quick and made fun by Simpy. He was pleasant, funny and got us set with our cars (2) for our trip. Please commend him for his outstanding customer service. Outside when we got our cars, Jess was awesome. She apologized for how long the process took (mainly due to decreased staff due to sickness). She made the experience of waiting pleasant. Unfortunately, the next day, one of our cars had a dead battery. We called AAA to assist and they were able to jump the batters (which was completely dead). I required another jump to get from our ski resort to the local store in Silverthorne. They were able to trade us out for another car (not all wheel drive) but nonetheless, they were very helpful right at the end of the day. The next day, the same cars key fob went dead. I had to go buy a battery pack to replace so the car would work.  Upon return of our vehicles today, I was met by Sabian who was very apologetic for the issues that we had. He made amends by taking some of the paid money off our reservation. We were very grateful. Because of your team in Denver and Silverthorne, we will absolutely rent from Enterprise again. Allowed me to make a full reservation for a mid size SUV. Had a date and time selected, and they even called to clarify the reservation. Once I arrive, they tell me that they only have one PICK UP TRUCK available. When I asked if other locations might have a midsize SUV available, they simply said no. I made a reservation on October 25, 2019 for a November 1st, 11 am pick up at 1550 Court PL, Denver, Colorado. I arrived at the branch at 11:00 am and the staff informed me that I need to wait until 11:30 am so the car can be ready. I waited until 11:30 but he came back telling me that the car won't be ready until 1 pm. He promised that he would call me 1 pm or latest 2 pm for the car pick up, and he also suggested that "oh, you can have lunch around this area, or hang around." However, I waited until 2 pm and no one called me. I called enterprise customer service and was told that this location closes on 2 pm on Saturday. So basically, the staff at that branch made a promise that he did not deliver because he is off work on 2 pm. This is a lie. The customer service representative asked me to go to the airport for the pick-up. However, I have already traveled with Uber to the 1550 Court PL location for the pick up and waited for 3 hours for a confirmed reservation that I made a week ago, and ended up with nothing. Why would I travel to airport given the fact that enterprise has repeatedly not been able to deliver their service or promise? I also filed a complaint and the customer service representative told me that someone from this branch will contact me regarding this within 24 hours. No one called, again. This shows how much they care about their customer. I don't know what type of business model this is. If there is no car available, why was I not informed in advance so that I could go with other companies? I made the reservation a week ago so this should have given them enough time to know the availability of their cars. Also, if there is no car on site on that day, why the staff kept giving me fake promises and suggested me to hang around in that area? People's plans are depending on this and why can't you be honest and tell the customer that you don't have any cars today but instead you preferred to kept them waiting for nothing? Apparently, it is too hard for you to be honest or ethical. If they are overbooked but there are cars available at other branches, why don't they coordinate among themselves but instead they asked the customer to travel to other location? Neither this branch or customer service contacted me regarding this negative experience. This shows how much they care about customer and how ethical they are. This is not professional or acceptable. You should change your name to Enterprise rent-a-no-car, and label your care to nocare@enterprise.com. A great place to rent a car! Price was same as other downtown locations (cheaper than at the airport), the the folks at the counter were GREAT! Can access location from public transportation using the local 16th bus (free) and lite rail (from the airport and only short distances walking w/suitcases. As a bonus, traveling thru Union Station (a restored grand station), was a real treat! All in all, a great experience (and I've had some bad ones)... in my top 5! read more

After seeing my review of false and injustice claim of us hitting the car when we didn't (picture "proofs" taken at different location from where we parked the car and a long time after), the manager asked me to email the Care team which I did two months ago. However, there has not been a reply since and apparently our names are on the COLLECTION AGENCY LIST now for something that is likely the fault of an enterprise employee (we parked the car in a corner of the garage so only possible to be hit by person driving it out), affecting our credit ratings. There is no corporate reviews whatsoever and we get harassment calls from collection agency 5 times a day for something we are not at fault of. Please PROVE WE DID IT before putting us on collection list. Horrible experience that has cost us months of time and potentially more than a thousand dollars for someone else's fault. After landing at Denver Int'l and trying to pick our car up from there we realized we booked at this location. So a $35 Uber later we arrive at the Sheraton. Head inside to an empty desk with a couple waiting. They said only one person working who was checking someone out. He came back in quickly and began checking them out. At the same time a girl was walking over toward the counter with a bag. She immediately asked us if we were being helped before she even got behind the counter. Her name was Sarah. She sat down with her coat still on and started working on our rental. She was so friendly. Fast and efficient too. Got us upgraded and in our car in no time. It was such a pleasant welcome to Denver. Thanks to the upgrade we got to see Loriat Loop Scenic Byway. Sarah is a great Enterprise agent!!! read more

It's sad to say that I had drafted this as a 4-star review, but after 3 phone calls and still not resolving an issue, I had to drop it to 2 stars. First off, FYI since this location is just a small counter, they don't offer free pick up, but it was a very easy walking distance from our downtown hotel. Everything was smooth in regards to the reservation and pick up. They let us transfer our enterprise location when we realized we made reservations at a location that was farther away and we were outside their free pick-up zone. They even gave us the locations and phone #s of other downtown locations to check their availability. It was also seamless in allowing you to transfer your confirmation to the new location, no problems. The pick up was smooth, the car was nice. The return was ok too, also FYI that their desk is closed on Sundays, so you have to return the keys to the hotel valet area. However, here is where I had to deduct stars. A few weeks later, we noticed that they charged our credit card $130 OVER what our confirmation said. I have subsequently called them once a week, for the past month...each time, the person appears friendly and says they are able to refund the added charge, no problem, and we patiently wait a week (even though they says just 48hrs it should show up) to see if there are any pending refunds on the CC...when nothing shows up, we call again, and they say "no problem" and supposedly say they will get it fixed that day, and so begins the vicious cycle again. Needless to say, its been 3 calls, still nothing resolved, so I will be left calling a 4th time, hoping that's the magic number for the issue to be resolved. read more

This location is hit or miss depending on who you get on the phone. I've rented from them a couple of times. The first time was great and the gentleman who helped me was friendly and accommodating. I called today in need of a car rental following a car accident and spoke to Megan. She was snotty on the phone and did anything everything to get rid of me short of a hanging up on me, including passing me off on to another location that I specifically told her did not not want to use due to poor experiences there in the past. She told me she was "sure they had availability" even though they did not when I called them directly. The Broadway location is much better and I would recommend going there. read more

Enterprise has always been great. Get in get out no issues. But here at the Sheraton Denver they have ONE person to check people in AND get their car. Always at least 5 people in line since I've been here. With a reservation system you'd think they could staff the demand. Unacceptable. So I bumped this from one to three stars bc Addis, though she was the ONE person working, was the best, once she was finally able to get to me (I didn't mention it was about 25 minutes total). Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street this location was very convenient to rent a car for the day. I called ahead and placed the reservation with customer service; very friendly and helpful. The rate was $45 for the day (8am-5pm) for a midsize vehicle and unlimited mileage. I requested a Nissan Altima which they were able to accommodate. A brand new Altima in fact which was nice! The gentleman at the desk (Tim M.) when we picked up and dropped off were so nice. Really great customer service! After this experience I would definitely rent with Enterprise in the future. High recommend this service and location! read more

Where to start... This is far and away my worst Enterprise experience as well as my worst rental car experience to date. I reserved the car online. Upon arrival there was someone in front of us (not being helped), just waiting while a gentleman worked on his computer. Someone else arrived after us, making them the 3rd customers waiting. Another gentleman arrived and began helping the first customer. The other guy came back and began to help us. He took us downstairs. The car wasn't there. Back upstairs we go. He found the car. By the time we were getting to the car, the customers behind us were already done being helped and were pulling away. The representative helping us sold me on upgrading the insurance, apparently this was in addition to the insurance I purchased online with my reservation. Apparently it wasn't upgraded insurance, but additional insurance. My $31 rental car ended up costing $76.03 for one day. I anticipated $66 so that was fine, I just wanted to leave. We were only in Denver for 48 hours trying to enjoy as much as possible. We get in the car and there is what appears to be blood on the drivers side panel and chewed sunflower seeds piled in the back. I thought I was renting a clean car, but that was definitely not the case. So, we do the walk around he checks the gas and we get ready to leave. He tells me the gas tank is full and that I will need to back out onto the street. What!? I have to back out into oncoming traffic!? The other customers had their vehicles in locations where they just drove straight ahead. I saw them both. I sit down and the gas tank is not full, more like 7/8, but whatever, I'll fill it up upon return. We just wanted to leave!! Not 5 minutes into the trip the car starts rattling something fierce!! We turned the AC off to see if that would help, it didn't, but we were too scared to turn it back on. We honestly thought the car might break down at any given moment on the trip, it was nerve racking since we were in unfamiliar territory. We made it through the day and arrive back to drop off the vehicle and there is literally no parking where they said to leave the car. We call to ask for instructions or see if there are any on a recording. We check the paper we grabbed off the counter for after hours drop off, nothing. We spend so long trying to figure out where to leave the car without it being towed we end up leaving sunglasses in it. We ended up just leaving it in a random spot with a voicemail and a note on the windshield and notified The Sheraton so they would hopefully not tow it. We realize we left the sunglasses right away, but it's locked and the keys are in the drop box so we leave a note on the desk. Taylor called me as my flight was landing and said he had the sunglasses and agreed to call me later in the day. He did. He said his manager, Addis would call me the next day to discuss my experience. She did not. I followed up the next week, he said he would email he and make sure she follows up with me, he sent her an email and copied me on it. She never called or emailed. He followed up with me upon his return and said he would take care of getting the sunglasses sent back to me and refund my credit card for the $66.03. The sunglasses arrived as promised. I called Monday as the refund had not been applied to my card as a week had passed, Addis answered. She said she would call me back in 20 minutes. She never called me back at all. I decided to call again Tuesday, three times I waited on hold in excess of 10 minutes each time. No answer, so I thought email might be easier. I responded to that email Taylor sent to Addis and copied me on. That was Tuesday, 5/22. As of today, nobody has responded to me at all and I have not received the refund to my card. If any of this sounds like fun to you or you have extra time to waste, then maybe you will enjoy renting a car here. This Enterprise is inside a Sheraton. The Sheraton staff that let us leave a note on the desk were very helpful and pleasant. read more

We were staying at the Hyatt, so it was perfect that Enterprise had a location right in our hotel. How convenient! We wanted to rent a car for the day to go check out PIkes Peak. The guy working the counter was friendly, not pushy like some other rental car employees I've dealt with, and we were very pleased we could just drop the car off with the hotel valet at the end of our rental instead of having to pay for overnight parking just to turn it in the next morning when the counter opened again for the day. Only complaint I have is that the hours are pretty limited and it didn't open until 9am the day we rented so we couldn't get an early start on the day. read more

I have rented so many cars through Enterprise and other companies, but have never had service so good before. Both of the girls were fantastic. They smiled and were happy to be there. Very fast and very very accommodating. Absolutely top notch service. They deserve a raise or a promotion. I can't say that Enterprise is fantastic, because I have had many many crappy services from them, so this review is simply for the two girls working at this particular location. I would recommend their service. They are a true asset to Enterprise. I fear that once they leave, the service will go down hill. In fact I have no doubt about that.
