I am being charged for hail damage even though it did not hail during our stay in Denver. I feel like this is a scam. It's miniscule dents that they had to point out to me, mostly on the roof, which is why I didn't notice them to take a picture before we took the vehicle off grounds. Never renting from Enterprise again. I have attached a picture they sent me where they circled the "hail damage," but as you can see these "dents" aren't even making the light bend.

I am a long time enterprise customer , since 2005. The DEN facility falls behind any other location. The first concern is the shuttle bus can't turn into the facility and has to do a 3 point turn on a busy road. In my case at night, the driver cannot see anything. Car #1 smells of smoke Car #2 filthy and engine warning light on. Car #3 we took 100 miles down the road I fill up since it was at 1/2 tank. When I check my receipt they stated tank full. I try to call the facility it is a loop of instruction no real life person. Positives , It is still enterprise so checkout is fast with tablets , it is also located at the airport. As a follow up at return they were able to give me a credit for the fuel. So I bumped them from 2 To 3 stars.

I was going to leave an angry review because, the second I pulled out of the lot, I realized the car had 1/4 tank of gas missing. Great. I tried calling the guy who set me up, but the number on his business card was just their general automated line with absolutely no hope of reaching a human (I tried several times, and nothing triggers an operator). Bummed, I thought I'd be returning the car having paid for gas I never used. When I returned it, I let the girl checking me in know about this, and she was kind enough to deduct $10 from my bill, no questions asked. I even had pictures of the tank (I pulled over as soon as I noticed to snap one), and she didn't want to see it and took care of me on the spot. Great customer service! I am leaving four stars hoping (big emphasis on "hope," here) that the rest of their agents would have done the same. Gas aside, the car was pretty damn filthy when given to me. For a 2015 with 2,000 miles on it, it had at least a pound of food crumbs just around the shifter.

    Insane lines

Quick and easy when you show up line looks very long but it is quite amazing how quick and efficient they are! I would definitely recommend we had no problems getting or returning our vehicle!

This is the line after you've checked in...

Johnathan did a great job helping us get into a car. He did a thorough inspection of the car. The facility is large and open 24/7.

I walked over after a bad experience with the competition next door, and was surprised at how easy it was for a walk in / same day rental! I ended up saving money in the long run with them too. During a recent visit -- and, importantly, this was days after major June storms had come through the area -- we rented a vehicle that had minor dents in the hood. It was raining slightly the night of the rental, so we couldn't see any issues clearly with a very wet vehicle. The remaining days were sunny, with perfect weather and we had no issues whatsoever with the vehicle. Upon return, an associated walked up to the car and begin evaluating damage without any acknowledgement. Then she claimed there was new hail damage and I needed to fill out an incident report. I indicated that there was no hail whatsoever during the sunny days of travel and, furthermore, I had coverage for damage and didn't need to fill out an incident report. She pressed the issue and got assertive in the process. I refused to sign and asked to speak with someone else given her lack of professionalism and clear lack of knowledge about the company's own policies. I explained the same to the manager who took the time to actually look up my record to see that I, indeed, had full coverage, did not need to fill out any incident report and was clear to go. Thankful for him, but highly disappointed in the experience with the earlier agent. So, yes, get the coverage. Know the policies. Take the photos for evidence.

Only issue with the shuttle is that the AC was not working and it was a heat wave in Denver, hi 90's We were dropped off at the rental car reservation hub. Those with the QR code could get their keys at the outdoor window. The representatives were having issues with car availability, they said it was due to customers not returning their cars on time. There was zero shade at the outdoor window, so that was pretty uncomfortable for the customers waiting in line in the extreme heat. I waited outside in line for almost 30 minutes waiting for a vehicle. Once I received the keys to a vehicle I was told where to walk to to find my vehicle. The car was great, the checkout process was super easy and digital. When I return my car, that process was also super easy. You just pull up and an attendant takes the keys and checks it in. Then you just jump on the shuttle back to the airport. Easy breezy. Overall it was a good rental experience and I would rent from Sixt again. I just won't stand outside in the heat.

I landed at midnight and waited 45 minutes to get picked up from the bus to the rental car place. Then, I had to wait in line for about another hour. Finally, I got to the counter, and they told me they were out of cars! At 3:45 am, what else could we do? We ended up renting an expensive car. When we received it, we discovered that it had no battery left. We had to sit at a charging station for an hour. The next day, we had two flat tires! We called to exchange the car, but they still had no cars left. We ended up canceling and going with a different company. However, they charged my card twice. When I went to dispute it, they fought it. What a terrible company! The desk people were horrible. One even quit during the duration of my time waiting in line. He was set up to fail anyway. How do you overbook too many cars for people? It's wild! I will never go with this company again and will be sure to tell my family and friends about this awful experience.

Great experience with Alamo at Denver International Airport…read more I booked a midsize AWD SUV in advance and used Alamo's Skip the Counter option, which made pickup very easy. After taking the shuttle to the rental facility, an employee checked my confirmation and directed me straight to the vehicle selection area. My phone wouldn't connect properly to the midsize SUV I had selected, so Larry kindly provided a complimentary upgrade to a 2026 Chevrolet Equinox AWD at no additional cost. The vehicle was clean, in excellent condition, had low mileage, and delivered impressive fuel economy throughout my 7-day trip. The AWD came in handy during a sudden mountain rainstorm and while driving the scenic Old Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. The vehicle performed flawlessly. While summer pricing was higher than off-season rates, my research showed AWD SUVs are in high demand in Colorado during peak travel season, so the pricing seemed consistent with market demand. Returning the vehicle was quick and straightforward, with clear signage and a friendly attendant. Overall, another smooth rental experience with Alamo. When I arrived, I can only describe it in what felt like some kind of lifeboat situation. The little shack with rental counters couldn't be seen because there was a mob of stressed people wondering where to go and what to do. A MASSIVE line. Fortunately, I have a deal with them to just grab my car and skip the counter.. I think? I hope? I don't really know. I was supposed to look for a video board with my name on it, but it basically just said HDMI and was a glitching black screen. I walked around to see where my car was, and it was no where to be found. There were probably 50 people waiting for their car, and maybe 7 in reserve? So I went to one that sort of looked like what I rented, if I squint, and just took it. Went to check out, told the dude I sure hope I'm doing this right, and apparently it was all good! Ditto to drop off, the guy telling us where to park was like "sorry y'all this is a shitshow today!" We dropped it and that was the end of it. Again, hope it works out, I think it did? But yeah. Part of it is because Denver Airport is always busy and you need a car for the city or mountains. But I think Hertz should step it up a bit here. I'll rent from them again because I have the tier that makes it more convenient, but wouldn't consider it otherwise.

When the bus finally did show up, it was so overcrowded that people were literally at each other's throats. It was basically a free-for-all just to get on. Then, to top it off, I get to the lot as a President's Circle member, expecting the perks that are supposed to come with that. It was noon, the reserved lot was 80% empty, and the "premium" selection was a joke. Just a bunch of random Jeeps and huge RAM pickups ready to haul horses and a handful of base-model Nissan Kicks and Kias. It's just pathetic. You're paying for a top-tier service as seems Economy, Budget and Thrifty are better, but you're getting a bottom-of-the-barrel experience. They aren't even trying anymore.

When I arrived at Ace Car Rental, they told me my voucher was only worth $301.72, even though that's not what I paid. I did choose to add the prepaid fuel option and the fast-track service, so I expected those charges. However, the representative also tried to sell me insurance. I explained that I already have my own auto insurance and that my credit card provides rental car coverage. He then told me it was a state requirement to purchase their insurance. Since he made it sound mandatory, I reluctantly agreed. After researching it afterward, I found out that it is not a state requirement. I feel I was misled into buying coverage I didn't need. On top of that, I reserved a full-size sedan but was given a crossover instead. To make matters worse, I was charged additional airport fees, taxes, and other charges despite my Priceline reservation stating that all taxes and fees were included. Priceline says they sent Ace the full amount I paid, while Ace claims they didn't receive it. I don't know who's telling the truth, but I shouldn't have to pay the price for that disagreement. I chose Priceline because I expected they partnered with reputable rental companies. After this experience and reading so many similar reviews, it seems these kinds of issues happen far too often. I've rented from many different car rental companies over the years, and I've never had an experience like this. Between the misleading insurance claim, the unexpected extra charges, and not receiving the vehicle I reserved, this was by far the worst rental experience I've had. Be warned--you may end up paying much more than the advertised price. I've contacted both Priceline and Ace multiple times trying to get this resolved, and all I've gotten is the runaround. Each company points the finger at the other instead of taking responsibility or providing a clear explanation. As the customer, it's incredibly frustrating to be stuck in the middle with no resolution.
