I made a reservation with Enterprise- Denver airport for a 4 day full size car rseveral weeks prior to pick up last Monday. When I arrived, I was told they don't have any full size cars right now and instead the employee offered a mid size SUV. I was offered a Toyota RAV4, I wasn't impressed, I asked for other make SUVs but the other Enterprise employees were giving out the remaining cars like hot potatoes that the lot was left empty within 15 minutes. I ended up with the RAV4 and when I drove off it was one of the worst cars I've ever rented. The rear axle had a loud buzzing noise at any speed and I had that noise for 4 days. So beware, Enterprise Denver office is totally chaotic and don't even expect to get the car you book on their website. Very misleading. read more

I am being charged for hail damage even though it did not hail during our stay in Denver. I feel like this is a scam. It's miniscule dents that they had to point out to me, mostly on the roof, which is why I didn't notice them to take a picture before we took the vehicle off grounds. Never renting from Enterprise again. I have attached a picture they sent me where they circled the "hail damage," but as you can see these "dents" aren't even making the light bend. read more

I rented a 4 wheel drive truck at the Denver Airport for a three week trip in late September through early October this year to drive around Colorado and photograph the amazing fall colors in the mountains. The shuttle from the Denver Airport to the rental site was easy to find with great service. Once at the rental site, my check in was done with Caity, who was wonderful to work with, and even adjusted my rate due to when I had booked, which was prior to the airport raising some of their rates. I then worked with Bashir, the manager, who brought my "ride" around - a lime green Toyota Tacoma 4 wheel drive vehicle. This was my first vehicle that did not need an actual ignition key to be used, but instead used a start button. Bashir was very, very patient with me in explaining the features of the vehicle before I drove off, and even placed my luggage into the back seat of the vehicle for me. Due to an unforeseen set of circumstances with my husband who has metastatic prostate cancer, I needed to return home to take care of him two weeks early. When I returned my vehicle, Bashir was on duty, and immediately called me by name, and knew that I was returning the vehicle early. He immediately calculated the time I had the vehicle and sent me an email confirming what I would be charged. He asked which airline I was flying out of Denver on, and directed me to the correct bus to take me to the correct part of the airport for check in. I had a wonderful experience with Enterprise at the Denver Airport, and with Caity and Bashir who I give "high fives" to. I definately would use Enterprise at the Denver Airport again! read more

Always a great experience here. That is why we keep returning. When arriving at DIA, just head from Jeppesen Terminal to Level 5, Island 4 for their shuttle over to Enterprise. Once all of the paperwork, credit cards and IDs shown at the front counter, you are directed outside where you are greeted by your own rental agent. They take you to your car, and get you set up with your rental for your stay. There is a quick review of your car for any previous damage, and then you both initial and are on your way to the lot exit. Upon return, you pull under a covered area where more agents are ready to check your car back in and finalize the bill. If there are any discrepancies or questions, definitely make sure to talk to them before they close out your ticket. I HIGHLY recommend the damage waiver. It is a few more dollars per day, but it covers any 'down time' your car might require if any damage needs to be fixed. This includes windshield cracks/breaks and any body damage. We were unfortunate enough to have one of our rentals get hit in a parking lot while on vacation. We called their customer service, and were asked to get a police report to document the damage. When we returned the car, we gave them the keys and the report and walked away with no further incident. read more

We generally have very good experiences with Enterprise. Upon reaching the front desk, David was polite and updated our profile and took our information. We were then taken outside and shown our options. We had reserved a full sized sedan. The other person helping us attempted to direct us to an SUV. We explained that it was important to get a full sized sedan because we were picking up and would be driving an elderly person to a funeral, so we wanted him to be able to get in and out of the car easily. He must have tried to get us into an SUV 8 times. My husband told David (who was great, BTW) that his mother died which was why we were in town. The other Enterprise agent persisted with the SUV. We eventually got a Hyundai Sonata and had a choice of color. We liked the car and it worked out great. The other agent should learn to chill out and some manners. I wish I got his name. I am a long time enterprise customer , since 2005. The DEN facility falls behind any other location. The first concern is the shuttle bus can't turn into the facility and has to do a 3 point turn on a busy road. In my case at night, the driver cannot see anything. Car #1 smells of smoke Car #2 filthy and engine warning light on. Car #3 we took 100 miles down the road I fill up since it was at 1/2 tank. When I check my receipt they stated tank full. I try to call the facility it is a loop of instruction no real life person. Positives , It is still enterprise so checkout is fast with tablets , it is also located at the airport. As a follow up at return they were able to give me a credit for the fuel. So I bumped them from 2 To 3 stars. read more

I like to reserve a car, get to the destination, pick up the car, drive the car, return the car, pay for the car. Nice process. Appears here (and after asking, in Denver in general), you reserve the car, get to the destination, get told "we don't have any of that model/size", get pressured to either take what they have too many of (and you don't want) instead, or, better yet, upgrade to the next size or two up for ONLY a lot more money, but that's cheap, really! After saying the standard - where is our reserved car (and of course - oh, we'll get you one "soon"), some "magnanimous" manager FINALLY says, hmmm - in this one case - let them have the upgrade FREE. (we should be grateful!) Of course, you get to the upgrade, it's the damaged one, but don't worry. And oh, OF COURSE you will want the damage insurance and so on - even though we reserved through our insurance company which specifically says - NO, it's already covered. DONT CHARGE US MORE MONEY. Ok, finally - get the car. Yep, it's damaged, makes noise, no wonder THAT is the one we got without an extra charge. Why AT LEAST three stars? When all was said and done, they charged us what they were supposed to, and did get us back to the airport on time. So, a-ok. Still - I'm not one for pushiness and bait and switch. read more

I was going to leave an angry review because, the second I pulled out of the lot, I realized the car had 1/4 tank of gas missing. Great. I tried calling the guy who set me up, but the number on his business card was just their general automated line with absolutely no hope of reaching a human (I tried several times, and nothing triggers an operator). Bummed, I thought I'd be returning the car having paid for gas I never used. When I returned it, I let the girl checking me in know about this, and she was kind enough to deduct $10 from my bill, no questions asked. I even had pictures of the tank (I pulled over as soon as I noticed to snap one), and she didn't want to see it and took care of me on the spot. Great customer service! I am leaving four stars hoping (big emphasis on "hope," here) that the rest of their agents would have done the same. Gas aside, the car was pretty damn filthy when given to me. For a 2015 with 2,000 miles on it, it had at least a pound of food crumbs just around the shifter. read more

I did not this time. I had originally booked a car in the city but thought I had booked at the Denver Airport. While it was my mistake they checked me out for a car, under the wrong dates, under the wrong reservation, but billed me. I later got a call saying my rental was overdue and found out it was booked under another person. I was unable to get in touch with someone at the actual Denver Airport branch so I had to drive up to resolve it. It was a 45 min drive from Boulder. I was unable to resolve it and I was not given any compensation, nor did they share in the mistake nor admitted to they were at fault too. So I think my circumstance I will blame on the pandemic, but I don't think the customer support was helpful in helping me resolve my situation. Hope it goes better next time read more

This location has excellent customer service and they're all extremely helpful. There was a really long line at the front desk and they were very apologetic and helpful with the situation. There were multiple agents that I interacted with while here and all of them were polite and very nice. They went over all the paperwork accurately and answered all my questions. When I got back, there was a dent on the vehicle that they weren't sure was on it before I had it or not. I reassured them that it was not from me because I was parked in only two lots the entire time and both times I parked far away from other cars (I always try to avoid any sort of issues with rentals). They did a couple checks and found that there was some previous damage reports on the vehicle I had rented and they were extremely nice about the situation and reassured me that I was good to go and there would be no penalization. The representative that helped me was very professional and helpful. I will definitely be renting with Enterprise again in the future as they made the rental process very easy! read more

First of all, my reservation for DEN was made at a rental center nowhere near the airport. I had assumed that when I typed in the airport code, it would pick the rental center at the airport. Bad assumption. The agent at the airport rental center quickly explained that often times deal aggregate sites do this to get the lowest rate. He immediately checked if there were any vehicles available for rent (many of the other companies were sold out) and when there were, matched the rate I was given at the other rental center. They finished the paperwork very quickly, asked me about optional addons but did not hassle me when I said no, and had a representative show me to my car (which was an upgrade to standard as they didn't have any intermediate cars left). She walked the vehicle with me and noted that there were already a few scratches without me having to point them out to her. The return experience was super easy and quick and all in all, my experience with Enterprise was beyond exceptional. Would definitely recommend! read more

Then you are in the middle of a mob of customers all racing to work with two clerks. After reading the reviews for competitor car rental companies at DIA, I chose Enterprise for its highest reviews. Even though we arrived in DIA past midnight, once we found the car rental pickup curbside a bus was waiting to take us directly to the rental center. The employees were so helpful and friendly even at the late hour and we had no problems with our VW Jetta car rental, it was found to be clean, great on gas mileage and functioned perfectly. Returning the rental was as painless as picking it up, and a bus was already waiting to bring us back to the airport. I deducted 1 star because the total prices were $20-40 more than competitors. Tip: An additional non-spouse driver incurs a fee. read more

I usually loathe rental car companies. This was my first time renting from Enterprise, and I was thoroughly impressed. In the past, my experience has always been waiting, aggressive upsells, unpleasant staff, and myself being so eager to get it over with. Both pickup and drop off were quick and convenient. There was no upsell pressure (for either vehicle or insurance), and the insurance options were easy to understand. The staff members were all SO kind and truly wanted us to have a good experience. Our party of 3 discovered that the rental cars are located a fair distance from Denver airport terminal and so we went to Island nos 4 outside baggage claim to get the shuttle to the actual Enterprise store location. Must say they have really friendly staff. The driver helped us with putting our bags into the bus and when we got to the actual location, we were cheerfully greeted as soon as we got off the bus and told we could get whatever car we wanted. We explained to the staffer about plans to drive to Pike's Peak and she suggested getting an SUV. We ended up renting a jeep, keyless entry, butt warmers and Bluetooth wireless pairing for our cellphones. Really pleased with the service and quality - recommend! Enterprise's underwriting policy put me in a bad spot, at the end of a long day. I needed to rent a car last-minute when returning from a business trip, as our family car was on the fritz. I made a reservation, but when I got to the counter, the agent would not rent me a car because I was a local customer, and was paying with a debit card. No matter that I had a reservation, and enough money in the account to buy the car outright. No matter that I could have rented the car with all the same stuff, at any other Denver-area Enterprise. "We're trying to communicate that better." Well yes, you certainly should. Beware the debit-card + local rental combo at the airport. (And if you find yourself in the same situation, try Thrifty. Not going to say I was in & out in three minutes, but staff worked fast in the face of a rush, made it a priority to pull extra staff to desks, and was very professional. Also personable and down-to-earth. Very satisfied with my mid-size sedan. Didn't try to guilt me about gas tank or my decision to insure with credit card only. Every agent I talked to, maybe five of them, made an earnest ask about the quality of the service being provided to me. Also, got my car for a significant discount thru Costco Travel. Denver International offers a lot of rental car options but year after year we have found out that the Enterprise here really is great. We had a reservation made already, which helps expedite the process. We were greeted promptly upon arrival. One of the agents took us out and had problems locating the SUV section, then problems finding the Tahoe we had reserved so we spotted a suburban and she told us we could have that - score! Just a suggestion, make sure you point out issues to the agents because they won't always do the walk around like this lady, and the marks on the car weren't pretty. The car ran great, especially in all the feet of snow Colorado got while we were there. We opted to fill the tank up upon return, drove right in, the checked the car out, printed our receipt right there on the spot at the car and we were on our way to the terminal. I asked for an upgrade (my son wanted a Mustang) so I asked what it would cost for something sporty (I didn't think I'd be able to afford the upgrade, so to pacify my son I asked). I was simply delighted with the customer service experience I had with Enterprise! The line was long when we first arrived but the attendant was very friendly and explained all the steps clearly. Getting the car was a quick and painless experience. Paperwork was fast. When we returned, all we needed to do was just give the keys back and hop on the shuttle to the airport. Second rental in three months. The first car in Knoxville, Tn was filthy (full of sand on and in everything) and smelled of cigarettes. I was charged for 62 gallons of gas initially after drop off and WAS NOT EMAILED A RECIEPT to verify my charges. Luckily I thought to double check them. I was credited after driving back to location a week later. And for the second car in Denver Colorado everything went well until I left a GoPro camera in the car. I called back as soon as my next flight landed a couple of hours later to have them get it out of the car for me. And of course the $400 camera wasn't found. At least I was told it wasn't Tho I remember specifically the exact place where it was left. So someone at Enterprise is either a liar or a thief. I am guessing the company is filled with both. I am cross posting this review to all of my social media sites and will request it to be shared by all of my friends.
