The only options they offered were to rent from another company, come back, or take an Uber... I am up at 5 am to drive 50 minutes into rural Illinois for a customer engagement at 8. I can understand if my flight was delayed to the point they were closed or something, but other people on my flight were getting cars. The staff waited for that flight to come in and gave away the car I reserved weeks ago. The fact I was in the back of the plane meant I lost out on first come, first serve. When I explained my dilemma, I got a shrug. Well, you can get an Uber, come back tomorrow, or see if the other companies have cars, so I will. What's silly is that this is only my third trip for my company, but I will be doing it weekly here shortly. 50 weeks a year for years to come, that short-sighted choice to hang me out to dry will cost far beyond what they got off one rental today. Did I feel shocked? Sure, I was upset definitely, but the real clincher here is a practical one. If they don't honor reservations, how can I trust them? Walked around the car with an employee before checking it out. Noticed a small dent and scratch on the right front panel, but the employee gave me the impression it was small enough that it didn't need to be document. Shame on me. You know where this is going. I drove the car after I picked it up to run a few errands, then home and it was parked in front of my garage. The next day, I bought a new car, so didn't drive the rental again until I took it back a few days later (I couldn't get it returned before 6 until then because of my work schedule). No one inspected the car with me when I returned it. Imagine my surprise when I got a phone call the next day saying there was damage on the vehicle. I told them I did not do it. I heard nothing else until a claim was filed with my insurance company about a month later. Long story longer, because I had initialed the rental agreement. my insurance agent told me there was nothing I could do. Yes, I feel stupid for not insisting the damage was not documented and for not taking my own pictures and videos, which I will definitely do in the future. Really shady and unethical practices. Take your money elsewhere.

This was a last minute booking, due to Budget not accepting my credit card last minute. I've put two and two together both agencies are scamming. Anyway, I return my rental after having to extend an additional day due to their car malfunction! Once returned I always get my receipts printed because, again, they're scammers. Boom, I leave not even a hour later my card is trying to be charged $400 on top of my $370 deposit being held. Basically they double charged me and intercepted my deposit. Scammers right? Lol now the fun part with the refund, and disputing through my bank. Jealousy really is an ugly trait! You people hate seeing beautiful black woman taking up space, living luxury, and not sitting behind a dead end ass job. I'm assuming they saw my birthday was two days away and knew about another rental reservation with budget for this upcoming Friday. Boooooo tomato's, cause yall didn't stop shit, but higher up will be in contact avoid this location at all cost! They're scrambling for sales!

Basically this is a Lexus LS and it was a dream to drive and no issues mechanically whatsoever. Due to the fact it was new XM radio was still on it which was great for a long drive. It did not have navigation surprisingly, but I downloaded the Toyota Scout GPS onto the in-dash computer. Scout GPS sucks, but better than nothing. The car alone garners a full 1 star. Drop off of the car in the off site location at the airport was easy. Staff was professional. I did have a problem in Tampa and needed to speak with a manager. I was directed to a Dollar/Thrifty shuttle that picked me up in approximately 10 minutes with another passenger. I was dropped off at the Dollar desk in the airport. There was no line and I spoke with staff regarding my contract and issue. Apparently they just came on shift and was not told I was coming over and had no information. Around 15 minutes later they located my contract and read the notes. A $95 credit was applied which was satisfactory. I will have a $15 charge mailed to me for a toll that was unmanned. They rent out the sun passes for a daily rate, but it's expensive. I'm still better off not renting it. However, one more violation and it would have been better to rent for 7 days. Best advise is bring your own if you have one. I would rent from them again. They were on the lower end of cost, but not cheapest. The unlimited mileage that was no additional fee was golden for a big trip over 800 miles.

They still have to key in and verify your information the first time.. But every rental after that is simple. This location is handy and I always feel well taken care of. I am currently renting exclusively from Hertz and almost exclusively from this location. Their prices are quite reasonable and if you have AAA or some other coupons/discounts you can bring it down even further. To make the experience the easiest possible, sign up for their club and reserve online you can see all the options and then when all set just reserve, when you go in it is very painless. If I were to make a single complaint. I wish they were open a bit later and potentially on Sunday. However these are minor and don't detract much. I would strongly recommend renting not only from Hertz but from this location.

The employee at the counter was Alexis Medrano and she should not be customer facing as she's extremely rude and doesn't know anything. Her people skills are non existent. Firstly, my friend was renting a car, her ID was expired but she recieved the renewal data stating it's good because of military service. She asked the manager, Kliff Durham for a second opinion and he said no because anyone can print that and it's not valid. We asked to speak to the manager following too and she left us patiently waiting and said nothing so we reengage and she said he's on the phone. We then differed to me as the renter and asked about additional discounts due to my profile, and she didn't know. She then went over the price, and I said that's high however she was including the deposit in the price. Following she asked me to sign for the car by seeing pictures that had no date time stamp or data and I said no. I need to see it. She proceeded to say, I took them myself. I said well similar to this ID issue I can't validate this without seeing the car. She immediately took the keys like I was stealing the car. I then asked to unlock the car and take the photo to compare the photos and she had an attitude. We then asked her to accompany and she went to the door only and did nothing further. After further review we decided not to continue with this provider and asked to speak to the manager. I also asked for the area manager and was told an email was not possible because it's a personal hertz email which makes no sense. I was provided their cards and a customer service number. I also got no confirmation of the cancellation other than a photo I had to convince him to print and allow me to see. Not to mention they misspelled my name too. This Hertz and staff are lacking customer service and deeply are in need of retraining. PS the manager was also making calls and talking to customers via speaker phone. They told someone they could extend but then decided not to honor it and charge him late fees too. It's very unprofessional to have a call like that via speaker phone in front of customers. I will follow up with customer service but will never use them again! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
