I had a 1-day rental. They charged me for 2 days. I returned it at 1030p and the desk was busy. I asked the lady if I could use the drop box. She said yes and that she'd get to it and process it tonight. She didn't. They processed it at 0600 the next day and charged me double. Well, I normally use this company for all work travels but know I do not think I can. I normally have great customer service. But I was over charged for a cat piss smelling car that was filled with sand and never cleaned. We took it and got wipes and brushed it out. When bring the car back we had a long line for it to check in. He said put the keys on the dash and check it in when he can. So hours later he checked it in and so we get charged late fees. Got on a chat right away when I saw the bill and they said nothing they could do a manager will have to call you. It is now Thursday and no call. But my card is charged. I never get this experience at Enterprise at my local one. What a nightmare. Nothing like trying to go on vacation and dealing with all this bs after. Update: I have been on a chat, called and emailed. Three points of contact and still no one can help me they keep telling me someone will call me back. My experience with this Enterprise has been unpleasant. :( I picked up a car in Dallas, TX. I used my debit card and everything went swimmingly at the Dallas location. I selected 9:00pm to drop the car off here in Fort Walton. We wanted to stop and eat along the way, so I called the Fort Walton location to ask if it was ok to drop the car off at 10pm instead. They got my name and said dropping it off at 10 was fine because they don't close until midnight. When I got here, everyone was gone. They closed early because of Covid 19. I had to take the car all the way back to my sisters (30 minutes away) after a 10+ hour drive and wake up early to bring it back. It was super inconvenient. I'm lucky that I was able to return it the next day and wasn't getting on a flight or something. Now, I'm trying to rent a car to get back home. They won't take my debit card. They will only take credit cards at this location. Nobody told me that. I had to order a new credit card so it's in the mail back at home in Dallas. They won't take my credit card number! My sister had to drive all the way back to her house to get her credit card. So now I'm just sitting here waiting for an extra hour when I really need to be on the road. What a terrible start to my LONG day of driving. And what a terrible experience here at the Fort Walton Airport. I am lucky to have family to help me though. There's no other enterprise in the area that opens early and "closes late" so I can't say I won't use it again. But I definitely learned my lesson with this location. read more

Thanks to the rude employees at this location, I will not be renting from Enterprise ever again. Not only were they not helpful, but they made it sound as if they were doing me a favor by renting me a car. Here is what happened: I booked on the Enterprise website for an economy car out of Fort Walton Airport, FL. When I got to the counter, employee #1 said "I'm going to do you a favor and rent you a car, even though you are at the wrong place." When I asked about the correct location, she told me they closed at noon. My flight landed on time at 12:30pm, so not sure why Enterprise would even let me rent from the closed location. Meanwhile employee #2 said "You're lucky we're even helping you". That gave me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that I was so lucky to experience this great customer service. To make a long story short: They gave (and charged me for it) an upgraded car, which I didn't want. They didn't even attempt to help me figure out how to get to the correct location. I only took the car to get to my destination, had I know what a pain in the a$$ this would've turned into, I would've left without a car. I brought the car back the next day to get a cheaper car (After the customer service hotline told me they got more in) only to find that I was lied to and there were no cars. Nice huh? I decided to just return the car and cab it out of there. When I decided to do that, employee #1 got rude and said she was "sorry for helping me out". I asked for her name and she gave me her boss's card. She was too chicken to even tell me her name. Skip this place and take go with another rental place. I rented from the Duluth Georgia location and drove to Destin. I realized once I was here that the car I rented had an expired license plate so I called the Georgia location and I was told to contact the closest office and ask for an exchange. I tried calling the Destin office several times and my calls kept being placed on hold with no one ever actually picking up to speak with me. So I drove to the office at the advice of the coorporate representative that I also called with my situation. I waited 20 minutes to be seen by the manager Desiree. The entire time the phones were ringing non stop and there were five employees standing around and ignoring the phones. When I finally got to speak with Desiree she told me she doesn't have any cars and she would call me that afternoon to let me know when one came in at 2-3pm. I gave her my information and I was the one that had to call her at 4pm. First I was delighted that someone actually answers the phone but Iwas told that she had employees getting more cars from the airport and would call me back when they got back. I never heard back. So I contacted corporate offices at around 8:00 pm through social media. There I was told that the regional manager had been contacted and the situation would be fixed by tomorrow. It has now been about 30 hours since I notified Enterprise that I needed an exchange and not one single person has been able to help me and I'm driving around with an expired tag on my family vacation. Thanks Enterprise for making my vacation soooo relaxing by renting me a car with expired tags!!!! So...when I do get a ticket for this I'll be glad to post that picture and updated review. Update: it took 2.5 days to sort out my issue and many phone calls. They won't even let me talk to a regional manager. Enterprise had triple A bring me a van to exchange and it reeks of mold/mildew. That is what I got for all my complaining...a moldy vehicle. I will never do business with this company again. read more

I rent from this location often and have always had great service here. It is usually quick - only drawback would be that they don't go view the car with you before you take it out - I had a small scratch last time and then they had to go look, I had no proof that I didn't scratch it. However, they said it wasn't deep enough, so no charge, just annoyance. read more

The check in process was fast and simple. We got a free upgrade when getting our rental. Check out process was just as simple and fast. Used to think Enterprise was a good company - not anymore... After you pay your rental they ding with you $40 at the counter and $40 when you return it with a full tank of gas. Get this... I was charged a "concession recoupment fee" and "tire battery fee". They also charged a "customer facility charge" all after you paid the full rental... then the additional $40 at the counter for something different about Destin, Florida... then all this junk!!! Whatever they tell you online, just tack on $100 in a bunch od made up junk fees! read more

This location should be ashamed of itself! My brother rented a vehicle a few months ago from you. He returned it in perfect condition, the way he took it from you. You even sent him his electronic receipt two hours later confirming the vehicle was in good condition, with his final total. Then two weeks later, you send him a letter trying to collect almost $1400 for damage to the truck (giant damage down the side including yellow paint). You KNOW he didn't do this, there's no way you would have sent him his final receipt if that was on that truck. Either another patron wrecked that car or one of your employees did and you pinned it on him. How dare you! How completely un-ethical of a company to do that to a very loyal customer. He has always rented from Enterprise and he never will again. The rest of our family will also be removing Enterprise from our list and making sure anyone we know does the same. You should make this right, you know he didn't cause that damage!! read more
