Eek, so I call the day before and am told "not sure, we have a minivan but sometimes the airport brings us cars. Call tomorrow". Ugh. I call the morning of my reservation (9:00 am) no answer. I try again at 11:30 am, no answer. I decide to drive to the store. Closed. No one there. No drop box, nothing. At no point did anyone in the store tell me "we close earlier than advertised so come early for your car" even though I called multiple times to confirm and ask questions. It's As a years long Avis preferred member, I'm in shock and of course scrambling for a same-day solution. I would avoid this location at all costs.

We pre-paid on a credit card and got a considerable discount, and if one rents at a location other than the airport, no tourist tax. Our concierge, Mr. Romero, did not urge the extra insurance on us or any of the extras. We really appreciated that. Next long trip we might consider the Sirius Radio. Our phones provided the GPS, but I can see where that might be handy. Avis offers an AARP discount too. We returned the car a few hours early and received a credit. Renting from Avis was easy. I loved that I could rent close to my home, and didn't have to go to the airport. Will I rent from them again. Yes.

It was not the best experience…read more Unfortunately, I cannot blame the personnel entirely, but I tried to rent a car. I was picked up by a friendly driver and ultimately. I spent 45min at theocation trying to self resolve an issue for something was not within their control, but c'est la vie. They did make a call to the validity of my license which had an unusual deformation or damage on the tip of the edge. He went back to make a call. Recommended he could take a receipt for a new license, but the DMV stated I was not eligible for an online or telephonic renewal. Other agencies have accepted the same license without issue, but the folks at Enterprise decided against it. The low score is ultimately for the store to provide the service in a timely fashion. Abel, is the decision maker on this one. Though I appreciate his sticking to his guns, I didn't end up getting a rental in a timely fashion. I ended up making a needless trip to the DMV for a lesson in semantics. The Enterprise team said because of the damage to the license I needed to "renew" the license online. As stated earlier, I wasnt eligible. The DMV, verified that the card was still valid, said that I could "replace" the card online I do appreciate their willingness to shuttle me around. That was helpful, and bought time for a solution to arise. Ethan...thank you for your patience and support. Had it not been for you, the transaction and reservation with Enterprise would have been lost. I would have had to critically alter travel plans. God send. I recommend making sure that your documentation is in good order, but overall. It worked out, and that was as a result of the staff. Abel said bottom line, they had cars to rent, and that I would get it...and it did, eventually. Another thing about this location are it's business hours...7:30am to 6pm on weekdays. It's limiting, and even more so without an after hours drop off. It's a way, but there's other ways. The location is close, and the staff are helpful. I appreciate that.

Waited in line for an hr, just to be told that they don't have a car ready for us…read more Our reservation was for pickup at 3:30. We finally got a car at 5:30. I prepaid the rental, but at check in had to put down a $200 deposit (it was refunded upon return of the car) I reserved a Midsize SUV, and got a Jeep Compass which was decent, but honestly would not classify as midsize because you can't put 2 adults and a car seat in the back . Just not enough room. Our flight was delayed by several hours, so I tried to call to try to extend my reservation, but you can't get through to anyone.. not locally or nationally . So we ended up having to return it earlier either way. We filled up the car less than a mile from the return, then get an email receipt showing they charged me $10.99 per gallon, plus other fees - based on the miles driven! Even though we filled up before returning. I emailed a copy of my receipt to customer service showing the fill up, still waiting for my refund of $98 for gas for 8 gallons ! Very frustrated with the whole experience with Hertz
