This location was clearly short-staffed, which is the main reason I'm giving an overall 4 stars instead of 5. Also, the online platform which promised a promotion of free days would NOT work. But the people behind the counter get a 5-star review. The manager knocked a bit off the price to compensate for the promotion not working, and Mimi was SO patient and accommodating when we showed up just before closing time and were trying to figure out our lives in a stressful time. She treated me like a person she cared about, and that counts for a lot.

I will rent it for longer. Just to make sure I have it long enough. I rented it for three weeks. I returned the vehicle five days early and was informed that I could not get a refund for the five days I did not use. When I asked her for the keys back then she said I can't give them back because I already checked it back in. I called Avis customer service and they informed me that they do not give a refund for days not used. I went back later that day and the vehicle had already been rented out to somebody else. Now they are getting double rent. They aren't losing anything. They're making extra money off of the vehicle that I paid to rent also. I will not be renting from Avis ever again. I am going to tell everyone I know in this town not to rent from Avis. This is terrible customer service and I am very disappointed. I rented a vehicle from them once before and they tell you to go out and look at the vehicle and come back if you have a problem. I went out and I had a problem. I came back in and they had the we have stepped out sign up. This was like less than three minutes after I walked away. I waited for 15 minutes thinking they would be back maybe they went to the bathroom or something. Nobody returned so I called and I could hear the phone ringing, but nobody answered it so I said hello because the door was open back there and nobody answered. Finally the people at the neighboring rental agency told me that they step out sometimes and may be washing a car or something. I looked out at their little washing area and there was nobody out there. I finally just took the car without reporting my problem. Very unprofessional

    Future Car wash customers beware!…read more I waited a long time before deciding to write this review, hoping to get some sort of response from management, but obviously my concerns fell on deaf ears. A while back I took my brand new vehicle in for a single car wash. I used a debit card I very rarely use and would never want a subscription created using that means of payment. One of the employees assisted me with the transaction and I unknowingly left with a monthly subscription that I did not authorize nor was I aware of. (In fact I was never even given a window sticker) Weeks later I came back, this time I had a subscription created using my typical means of payment, at which time the staff placed a window sticker in my windshield for future car washes. As soon as I realized I was being charged for two separate subscriptions for the same vehicle--one linked to my bank account and one to my credit card--I canceled the disputed subscription. I asked for a refund due to the fact I had no knowledge of the subscription and I also never had a single car wash using the unauthorized subscription. (I did however use my authorized subscription a few times) I feel that was a fair request because my subscription had cost them zero dollars. They made money for nothing at my expense. Doing the right thing and giving me a refund would cost them nothing. It's definitely not going to break them. I am very concerned about the ongoing charges for the subscription I was unaware of and had never received a sticker for. This situation raises questions about the process for initiating recurring charges, particularly why charges continued when no official window sticker had been issued for the unused subscription nor did I receive any car washes. I wonder how many other unauthorized subscriptions are happening as I speak? I have since stopped payments on my authorized subscription. This is too bad, they had the opportunity to do the right thing and chose to ignore me. Otherwise, I would still have a subscription today. In the long run, this is going to cost them more than had they just refunded my money.
