We had a terrible experience with Enterprise recently and felt compelled to share it here. I can't express enough how terrible this location is and the worst customer service from ZACK HOLLIS, nasty, rude, full of microaggressions. We rented a specific car, but when we arrived at the location, I was given a completely different car without any prior notification. To make matters worse, they "upgraded" me to a vehicle that was damaged and we had no knowledge of this. We always record our rental cars interior and exterior for insurance and safety, then we were told by ZACK HOLLIS that there was no need to record because it was "new" vehicle. When we returned the car, nothing was told to us and to our surprise, we received an email asking us to pay for a damaged part???? Even though it was given to us in this state. The staff was incredibly rude and dismissive, refusing to acknowledge the problem or offer a suitable solution, when asked about it. The branch manager, David was absolutely useless and told us he was call and follow up and never did. I don't understand how we even got to this position. We've never experienced such unprofessional and discriminatory behavior in our lives. It's outrageous that a company like Enterprise allows such conduct. I strongly advise anyone considering renting from this location to think twice. Save yourself the hassle and stress - go somewhere else where you'll be treated with respect and get what you actually paid for. read more

Everyone at the Elizabethtown KY location was great! There was a lack of information that was failed to be provided. I didn't find out until I got to my drop off location in Evans, GA. The customer service was great, so I'm not complaining, but it would've been nice to have the information at the start. read more

I had a horrible experience with this location. I would advise everyone to stay away from this location!! I agree with the others about a zero star rating. I made three separate reservations over a month long period only to be told each time, "a car was unavailable". This was during the time my vehicle was being repaired. All could've been avoided if told upfront the truth. It's sad that they would actually feel this is an acceptable business practice. They put myself and my family through unnecessary anguish. If zero star was available, it would have been 0. We have rented from this location at least three times. Worst customer service, from Zack Hollis, he is very rude, a bully, a liar and has a very poor attitude. We rented a car, they gave us an "upgrade" with some damages in the interior. When we we wanted to record the inside, Zack was keeping saying that this is a new car, no need to record the inside. I am sure he know there was some damaged in the interior. When returned the car, nothing was said and we were surprised to get an email from their recovery department asking us to pay for a damaged part. Even though we were giving the car in this state. We spoked to the branch manager at least twice, David, who said he would call us to follow up. He never did, what a joke. Please stay away from this location, they will set you up for things you have not done on their vehicles and try to pin it on you, like they have done to us. read more

I had a very tricky insurance situation and called this location several times. The two women working that day answered my calls and were so patient and accommodating every time I called with additional info from my insurance company. I went into the store and Shaylon took care of all my rental issues. She was super fast and amazingly friendly. My car is in the shop longer than expected and she made things so easy for me in terms of continuing my rental. I can't say enough good things about how my experience was. read more

One star is too many! I have rented from this location on at least two other occasions. While their customer service leaves a great deal to be desired nothing trumps the level of incompetence and apathy I experienced yesterday. I called in the early afternoon to confirm a reservation. All was good, it was about 2:00 in the afternoon and I could pick the car up at 08:00 the next morning. At 4:58 I get a voice mail; "we have sold out of vehicles and you will need to make other arrangements". I attempted to call them back at 5:01 in an attempt to figure our how we can solve this issue only to learn from their answering machine that the office closed at 5:00. I question whether they should have known at 2:00 in the afternoon if they had a vehicle available. So I call corporate. The initial operator fumbles thru their system and can not understand; "the system shows they have plenty of vehicles". After several moments I ask to speak with a supervisor. For this I get transfered to "the resolutions team". Talk about an oxymoron! Her resolution is for me to call back at 08:00 to see if there is any location that has a vehicle. Given I have to drive an hour & a half to turn my car in for my reservation at 09:00, that means I would be on the road 30 minutes not knowing if I'll have a ride home. Trying to communicate this simple concept to the most inept "resolution team" member she starts suggesting I call other companies, i.e. Hertz, Budget, etc to see if they can help me. This call terminated after the "resolution team" member continued to interrupt me and refused to transfer me to her supervisor/manager and then she disconnected the line. Final thought: take your business elsewhere. When I do need a rental in the future, I'll ride a bike before returning to Enterprise. read more

Is there zero stars? I was in a car accident Friday night. On Saturday I received a call that said, "We won't have a car available until Tuesday." This was not a problem. I called Tuesday and was told, "you should have been here at 1100, we held the car an hour and now it's gone. Check back Thursday." ??? I was never given an appointment time. I was told, "we'll call you Tuesday when a car is available. They said, "We don't say that." Sorry for the miscommunication. Horrible business. Avoid at ALL cost. The manager has a very poor attitude and is not helpful at all. I reserved a car for a one day trip for a local high school. I was using the school credit card and because we are a public school I had the school's tax exempt information. I've rented from Enterprise for several years for school events so didn't expect any problems. Not only would the manager not accept the tax exempt form, she wouldn't accept the school credit card. She claimed it must be in my name even though I'm using the school's credit card - as if every school will have a credit card with every employee's name on it. That would be a lot of cards! It was very clear I work for the school. She also was very disrespectful toward me. I will never step foot in an Enterprise again. I will be sure to tell everyone in the County not to use them either because apparently our school's money isn't good there. read more

This location has very apathetic and unaccommodating employees. They would not allow me to rent on an insurance claim and add the family driver that needed the car. I was pre approved with insurance coverage for daily rates, provided credit cards for "incidentals" and they would not allow the addition of the driver needing the car. No problem at another Enterprise location. I advise you avoid the Evans location at Cushman's. These people are clueless. read more

Avoid if you can. Had a one way rental booked through Hotwire for this location. Went to pick it up and at the time they wanted my insurance info (policy, deductible, coverage as well as my agents name). Which I thought was odd but I went with it. After all that, the agent informs me that there is $50 drop off fee. I let them know that is not the rate agreement on the site. After back and forth, the other agent there was rude and there was another agent or someone with an enterprise shirt on putting in her comments - none of which mattered. The service at this location is piss poor...and that's putting it nicely. We were given instructions to show up at 0645 to turn in my personal car for maintenance and pick up a car from Enterprise. We showed up...then we were told to wait til 8am for rental service. Really? Ok, cool. We busied ourselves with other tasks came back and these jerks couldn't find the reservation!!!! Ok...we wait while Billy Bob takes his precious time inputting our information (which he obviously had in front of him since he confirmed the address and phone numbers) AND repeatedly asking for information. Then, after he inputs the data (20 minutes later) this idiot tells us there are only two rentals on the lot. WTF! I'm standing in your office IN MILITARY UNIFORM and you're wasting my time! I have spoken with personnel at this location on 3 separate occasions and emphasized that my son would be the renter and that he was only 18. They assured me that it wasn't a problem all he needed to bring was his drivers license and a debit card in his name. After dropping off his car for repairs we went to this location to pick up his rental. When my son gave them his drivers license they told him he could not rent the car because he still had his provisional drivers license. You would think that someone would have mentioned this during one of the three phone calls! Now the shop has his car and he does not have any transporting to go to school or work! Had to rent a car while mine was getting repaired. A deer hit my car! Kelly provided great customer service, and explained the rental and options available. I had to rent the car longer than expected, all I had to do was call and let them know, no problems. I suggest getting the damage waiver coverage: a rock it the rental windshield and made a very large crack. The damage waiver coverage covered the damage to the windshield. Quick and easy!! read more

Enterprise charged me 5 days for a vehicle that I rented for 3 I got the vehicle for about 2 pm on and Wednesday and I turned it in before 2 on that Saturday. They closed at 1200. They are closed on Sunday's and Monday was Labor day. I put the keys in the drop box on Saturday. They charged me and addittional $105 on top of the $127 for the initial fee and $150 for the deposit. I was told that I was going to receive a refund of $120 which I haven't received yet. I was charged for a vehicle that sat in Enterprise's parking lot for 2 days. If this is going to be the penalty for turning in vehicles late then it should be explained. read more
