Rented a car online only to be told at pick up that it was unavailable. The employee there was unwilling to help find me another car and was quite rude. If there are no vehicles available on the lot you shouldn't be able to make a reservation. And if you show up with a reservation, the employees should be willing to accommodate you. I called to check availability and rates for a cargo van. The representative who I spoke with was short with me and incredibly rude. I was calling to give them my business, why would you turn away a customer? I inquired about renting a cargo van on a Saturday. Knowing they are closed Sunday, I asked if I would be charged for 2 days if I returned it later on Sunday. She rudely replied that until I gave her a specific time that I would be returning, she isn't able to quote me (this is a simple question, the representative should know if I would be charged for multiple days without inputting the time). There were no vans available at that date, so she asked if there was another date I'd like to rent. I said well... and was pulling up my calendar (literally paused for 2 seconds) when she interrupted and said she is ending the call because I am unresponsive, delaying the call. And then she talked over me when I said I was simply looking at my calendar and hung up on me while I was still talking. I then realized there is a completely different number to call for Enterprise Truck Rental. When I called the truck rental (which I learned is at the same location), the lady I spoke with was polite AND they had a cargo van available! Why wouldn't the first lady I spoke with have checked the same location??? I sincerely hope Enterprise starts training their reps in customer service. Hi we had a Pickup reserved in July and going on a trip in September when we showed up on the Mulberry location in Fort Collins to pick up are truck. They told us they had no truck available they were given to the firefighters however there was one sitting in the lot. This is fine only if we had notice we were helping my grandpa move some furniture in Wisconsin. No customer service at all they could have called us even the day before or emailed us. They offered a car which you can't move furniture with a car. They said they would do something to credit for next time. we received nothing. I rent from Enterprises when I go on trips but they now I will have to Rent from somewhere else! read more

If a "zero" or negative value were an option, they've certainly earned it. I've rented cars for many years, and from many vendors. Enterprise, and this location at 3321 East Mulberry in Fort Collins in particular are by far the worst vehicle rental experience I have ever had. In my opinion their practices are borderline fraudulent, and their customer service is atrocious! At pick up, the vehicle I reserved was not available, so I received a substitute. The vehicle wasn't remotely close to what I'd reserved, but I needed something and felt I had no choice so I accepted it. When I returned the vehicle, the staff were too busy to assist me and asked me to just leave the keys and they'd check it in later. Two hours later I got a call saying the vehicle was damaged and I was responsible. A body shop was en route to pick it up and I had 15 minutes to get there and inspect the damage before they sent it to an out of town location for repairs! I'm currently embroiled in a dispute with them and being forced to prove their responsibility in what appears to me to be a deliberatscam. There are lots of reputable rental agencies out there; do yourself a favor and please pick one of them over Enterprise! UPDATE: after a lengthy process and a complaint with the BBB, Enterprise dropped their claim. I appreciate the intervention and assistance by the group that monitors these reviews; I hope they do something within their organization to eliminate these kinds of issues! Wife made a reservation online through a third party travel site. Arrived at my appointed time and was immediately told they could not fulfill my reservation. They never notified me since they didn't know my phone number but i received 3 emails from them confirming my reservation. ???? Was then offered a ride but the service agent became extremely short with me as he no longer cared for my business experience. The young man who gave me a ride to Budget Rent a Car was professional and very courteous. Maybe he could give the desk agent some tips? I understand in business, these things happen. However being dismissive and short with me was unprofessional and we will not be using Enterprise in the future. read more

I don't usually write bad reviews, but this is a major "BEWARE!" Fort Collins had a major hail storm on July 5. Two weeks later, we got into a fender-bender with our personal vehicle, and because all of the body shops were backed up with hail damage repairs, our insurance company issued us a rental car through Enterprise until our own car could be repaired. When we picked up the rental (a white car that hadn't been washed recently), they pointed out one ding and said it would be noted on the rental record. We looked over the rest of the car, didn't see anything else worth noting and rented it for a week (during which there were NO hail storms). When we went to return it, they suddenly found a bunch of microscopic dents that they said were due to hail, and they told us that we were responsible for claiming it on our insurance, and we would have to pay our $500 deductible to get it fixed. Clearly there is a scam going on in which Enterprise is trying to bilk customers for the cost to repair hail damaged vehicles on their lot. If you can't get a vehicle anywhere else and you are forced to rent from them, bring a magnifying glass. Insist that they wash and detail the vehicle. Park it in the sun. Inspect it from every angle. Take photos. Otherwise, you will get screwed, too. read more

I usually have great experiences with Enterprise...until now. I recently used Enterprise, and after I returned the car to the location on Mulberry, I was charged an extra $1600. We found out that this happened to due an employee's mistake. I am still waiting for my refund. I will not be using Enterprise in the future. read more

Gave 2 stars because they came and picked me up at the location and the person giving me my car seemed nice. However they lied to me and assured me multiple times that I could cancel the insurance by just calling. I didn't want the insurance but after 3 firm "no"s the lady wouldn't let me not have it. I figured I'd just call later. My mistake. After driving home and confirming my insurance covered rentals I called to cancel and they told me they couldn't do that over the phone, so of course I had to drive the 30 minutes back. Not only that but they claimed not to have the requested car available. I only had the car for a couple days but every time I had to go back to the store they had multiple cars sitting there that were what was requested. I've used enterprise before with no problems but would not recommend this location. read more

The car They gave me was filthy. It was not only disappointing, but very disgusting. It had stains all over every seat along with cigarette burns , dirt and grim left in the cup holders etc. I pointed these things out to the service agent and they told me they didn't have any other cars to give me, so they offered me a free tank of gas. I was not completely satisfied with that gesture, but needed to get to a wedding. When I dropped the car off, I mentioned to the agent that I was to receive a free tank of gas . They assured me I would not be charged for it, and I was. I called the office and the manager credited me back my money for the gas and apologized. I wasn't going to post a review , until I was charged for using a toll road . I asked the agents if they charge a fee on top of the tolls and they told me " no, only the cost of the toll" which was not true. The staff is clueless with policies and fees. With a thorough but short rental process I was on my way. Weeks later I return the truck they gave me a ride back to the auto body repair shop down the street and once again i was on my way. We rented a car for a week from Enterprise through Expedia from California. When we got to Ft Collins we were told they didn't have any cars, and the the other Enterprise in Ft Collins had no cars either. Our confirmation number was worthless. Management on Mullberry did not strike me as being concerned or willing willing to solve our problem (our problem was we rented a car in advance on Christmas week with confirmation and had no car!) We're on vacation at Christmas without a car Enterprised promised us. Management was no help. Not their fault. It it was a restaurant they would be taking orders and bringing no food. First car I got was a Kona, pulls hard right and something rolling in car. After waiting for a call on second car that we never got back. So went for a second one a Equinox, this car was nasty looks like they used it to sleep in last year during fire season. From massive dirt and glitter all over the inner back panels to just our nasty there's no way they cleaned this car you can see the dirt on panels. Also it sounds like a tank rolling down the road. Get this it's after they told me they had to inspect and clean it but never left the spot in the morning that was next to first car I got!!! Both cars by law need to be put outta service so it can be checked but they let them out. Well with Covid and the nastiness of the equinox how can they release it? They need to be checked by state on their practices for safety issues. So tired of companies thinking we will just let it go. NOT A CHANCE. Even if they see it I'll never get called so my business will be elsewhere. Please be cautious as your family drives in these cars if you rent but people rent these cars so we're all at risk with clowns like this !!! read more

I read all the bad reviews about the Mulberry location & thought maybe it wouldn't happen to me. I reserved a cargo van...when I went to pick it up today, and it did happen. Next time I'm looking for a truck or van rental, I will go with literally anyone else. The location told me the issue was with corporate policy, so I called customer service and they advised me "There's nothing we can do on the customer service end." I pressed, and asked if there was a supervisor or anyone else I could speak to who's able to right the situation, and the agent told me, "Unfortunately, no. It's up to the location." I usually rent the same year/model vans from Uhaul. They're cheaper, and the process much simpler. I only bothered with these guys -who are more expensive and charge an extra $250 deposit- because Uhaul was booked up all over town this week, due to moving week for CSU students. I regret that decision, should have just waited. Hours wasted, and now I'm in a tight spot. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Both Enterprise locations in Fort Collins are a joke. I have used Enterprise for several years and have always been given good service. At other locations, if they didn't have the vehicle I reserved, I would be upgraded to a better vehicle. Not in Fort Collins though. My full size truck was in the body shop for a few weeks getting hail damage repaired. Due to my work, I need a full size pickup daily. I make a reservation a week ahead of time for the specific full size truck. When they bring the vehicle to the body shop where I'm dropping my truck off at, it's a Jeep Renegade. I'm not quite sure how that is even remotely close to a full size truck, but I'm leaving on a week long vacation in a couple of days, so I make do, after them saying that they don't have any full size trucks. A few days later I return it before leaving for vacation and tell them that when I get back in a week that I will need a full size pickup. One week later, I'm back and my wife goes to pick up the truck. They don't have any, so they give her another crappy Jeep. I'm a little pissed off so I call them and ask why I didn't get a truck with a weeks notice. They say they can put me in a small pickup and that's better than a Jeep, so I go down to swap it out. They lead me out to a Nissan pickup, sitting next to a full size pickup. I ask why I can't have the full size pickup and she says its reserved for a customer. I said that I reserved one a week ago, why don't I get it. She won't answer me. I took the Nissan, but as I write this I have decided to return it and take my business to Hertz. Horrible customer service!!!! UPDATE: shortly after posting this review, I was contacted by Enterprise. The regional manager contacted me to apologize for my experience and offered to cover the cost of the rental. This was the kind of experience that I have come to expect from Enterprise and I appreciate it. Both of the companies that I work/worked for use enterprise which is the only reason I continue to rip my hair out of my head every time I have to deal with this Fort Collins location. I really can't think of a single time I've rented from them that things have gone smoothly. It's like nobody in the office talks to each other and they don't put any notes in their clients files. One day I get a phone call telling me something and then the next day get a phone call telling me something completely diffetent. The latest was a somewhat threatening voicemail they left me because they hadn't heard from me And now their district manager is involved... But three weeks prior they told me they were going to call me back to let me know my next steps! Do not recommend. Company is trying to charge me for hail damage after failing to mention that hail damage is the responsibility of the driver. I had my car in the shop for unrelated damage that was not my fault and declined their insurance at THEIR OWN ADVISING. During the time I had the vehicle, there was a hail storm. I did not think that the storm caused damage but when I took the car back they said there was damage. They went straight for the hood and looked super close as if they knew there would be damage. After reviewing and taking a video and pictures, I could see damage but only at very specific angles. This damage could have been there and I would have never known. Furthermore, their repair shop charged me for tens, if not a hundred plus dents when you can only seen 10 dents, at most. Efforts to fix this have just ran into people saying they are sorry but I signed the papers, along with more lies. Do not use this company. read more
