I asked them to please fix the zipper so I could try it on. Basically they ignored me. Went back to putting the furniture together then I found a sick jacket that I was interested in and it had no tag on it no price tag. I asked them again. Could you please tell me the price on this jacket? I was ignored again. I then stated that was there someone that could help me that I was not going to be a nuisance for because obviously you two are ignoring me and you're putting together patio furniture I've asked to for assistance twice once to fix the zipper of a jacket. I was interested in and the second was to find out the price of a second jacket. I was interested in and both times I was basically shunned ignored and treated very poorly. Once I stated my displeasure and told them I used to be in retail and I would never have treated a customer the way they were treating me. They finally snapped to it and got me the results that I needed. Got me the price on the one jacket and fixed the zipper on the other jacket that was off track very unprofessional. I asked them. Reminded him by text 4 days in advance and he again assured me they would be ready. Day of, at noon, I went to pick up the skis and they were not ready, but he said if I came back at 5p (just before my flight) he would be done. Went back at 5p and they were not done. After swearing at me that he had too many f**ing tasks to do and too many customers so it wasn't his fault he said he could finish the tune while I waited for 10min and charged me full price. When I brought my skis in days later to adjust the bindings I was informed by a the new shop that "the skis have not been touched at all, the edges are so dull I can safely run my finger with pressure, there are 4-5 core shots needing repair for safety reasons, there is no basework, no grinding, and no wax." This shop charged half of Snow Hut and did a professional job and a full tune that you can see and feel. I have called my credit card company to revoke the charge since no work was done on the skis.

I went in to ask about demo-ing some skis I'd read about. I'm a 63 year-old expert woman skier. Riley listened, paid attention and made some suggestions. I'm thrilled because now I am the proud owner of the Stoëckli Nela 88s and the Roxa boots I never had even heard of. Pricey? You bet. Worth it? Absolutely. Riley said I'd make it good if I didn't like the equipment. He won't get these back over my dead body. I'm skiing better at my age now than I've ever skied. Sounds like hyperbole? Surprisingly the water is pretty clean if you paddle out a little away from the shore. The lake is large and there are 3 marinas you can use. Of note, there is not much shade so keep an eye out for a good spot. There are multiple access points to the lake from the roads. You will have to carry your stuff down and back up on the way out!

Things to know. 1. if in summer, even on weekdays you will need to call and make your reservations in advance. Most likely they will not have boats available if you just do a drop in. You are able to call and reserve 14 days in advance. 2. the amounts of people allowed in the boats are different than what is on their website. it is actually less now for some reason???? not sure what that is. but hopefully they update it to be accurate at some point soon. 3. The prices listed on the website is for the boat only. It does not include gas. 4. They had half day or all day rentals available. 5. If you want to pull a tube behind, the tubes they sell in the marina span between $150-$260!!! YIKES. You will also need a tow rope and y line and that will add another $70. I called all over to see if there was a place that would rent these items and the answer is no :( We used one of our river tubes from home and well it was not the BEST but the girls made the most of it. 6. when you get there you go down around back of the marina and go to the building with the blue roof to check in at. 7. you can bring food and beverages on the boats, but if you make too much of a mess you will get charged a cleaning fee. 8. they will hold your drivers license and credit card while you are out on the boat. 9. They do give a you a boat talk to tell you how to make the boat run. The fellas down at the dock where very friendly. They were helpful and really made everyone feel comfortable. They helped us figure out how to tie our tube on even though it was not quite what they are used to. They also hooked up our y hook up and towline. 10. After you done, you will want to go up to the marina to pay. They take your stuff up there. That was not totally clear and i was hanging around down at the dock. You can paddleboard and kayak down below the marina if you want. You are not supposed to swim in the lake except at the swim beach.
